Leo Wilson contracted with Eliason Lumber to do the fencing in their Windsor Community in Clovis. Eliason installed our fence (as well as several neighbors' fences) without any space between the boards, allowing for zero expansion with the wet weather. Our fence got absolutely destroyed with the wet weather. We had several boards pop off the frame completely. The fence on the west side of our property was curved instead of in a straight line. They did come back and "fix" the fence by cutting every third or fourth board to allow for expansion, so now we have mismatched boards. Who installs a fence without at least a nail head's space in between each board to allow for expansion? The posts and the backer rails are bent. They refused to fix them and said they have to "ask" their boss. This is the 4th house I've owned and I had never experienced this problem. The whole fence need to be taken down and put back up correctly. I'm sure there will be a class action law suit in our neighborhood, as I know several of my neighbors are not happy.

I got a bug to build some redwood planters and I'm so glad I found Eliason Lumber. I figured I could carry 16 foot boards on my bicycle roof racks. Man was I wrong. I got some on and noticed by racks bending so it was back to the drawing board. Ethan was so patient loading and then unloading the boards. My order was small but he spent a lot of time with my little drama. I got the boards home and was so please with the quality, I'm planning on getting more. I'm telling all my friends about Eliason Lumber for the customer service, price, quality, and the added benefit of supporting local business. Really, we should all be going to Fresno Ag, Eliason Lumber, and supporting all our local businesses as much as we can. I'm glad I found Eliason Lumber.

I cannot rate the company, I wasn't able to use them after many referrals .Don't bother calling to have them install your fence if your fence isn't at least 80-100 feet long. They do not do small projects. Don't bother with Lowes, they charge you labor for a minimum of a 100 foot fence. This business Turned me away to rebuild a 26 foot fence with 2 gates. I could only give 3 stars because I did not use them due to their limits on small projects. I'm sure they are a great company if you have a larger project, or can do it yourself. Just wanted to inform people with smaller fences, they have a minimum linear foot limit. It seems to be a very common issue in Fresno.

This is my new to go place for lumber. The owners are very nice and helpful but their lead foreman RED as they call him was fantastic. He showed me around the lot and gave me all the options available for my project. He was very knowledgeable about all types of home projects and helped me get the right materials for my job. To top it off he also hand loaded all the wood into my vehicle for me. Wonderful business.

Got several quotes to replace my wood fence and decided to go with Eliason mostly based on a friends recommendation. I also upgraded cedar to redwood which looks incredible compared to the old cheap fence. I can't say enough about the quality of material and the workmanship. They were also able to get in and out in one day (great help when you and your neighbor have dogs).

We won't ever buy lumber from anywhere else again! Ethan at Eliason Lumber is a second generation business owner who is very personable and friendly. Have you ever been to a lumberyard where they drive a SmartCar? This lumber yard was well worth the two trips (40 miles away) it took me to get the wood I bought for my patio and other projects. We were pleasantly surprised to find that they are also avid rock collectors, and have many large pieces of petrified wood and gemstones. I saw the largest pieces of flagstone I have ever seen before here. One piece could have been a patio in and of itself. Ethan gave my daughter two amethists and explained the differences between them. She was thrilled and has talked about it endlessly! This company cares about relationships and understands that diversity, integrity and commitment make a good solid business with loyal customers. The person who loaded the wood for me was very friendly, careful and helpful. There is no question in my mind that this business will be around for many generations to come. They will certainly continue to get our business.

I've done business with John and now his son for more than 30 years. The price is not much more than you'd pay at Lowes or Home Depot but the quality is considerably better. My suggestion, get a quote here first before going anywhere else. My experience is you get what you pay for

Randomly found them and utilized them for a small project. Took a while to get them out to complete the project and once it was done, initially the project looked well. After a few weeks I noticed that it needed some adjustments. I contacted the company and they did not respond. I gave them a few more weeks and tried to contact them again but no response. It's disappointing that once they received their check, they didn't care about making sure their installed product was done well and the customer was satisfied. I will not be referring them to anyone else at this point.
