El Ranchero's

Recently I visited El Ranchero's for a quick burrito on my way to a meeting. This was my first time. I pulled up, noticed one of the choices was "Chicken with Cheese." Wanting to keep it simple, I ordered it. The young lady on the speaker cautioned me that "it's only chicken." I pointed out to her that I was looking at the sign which clearly said "Chicken with Cheese." I pulled up, and she said, that it was chicken only, and that they sent out someone to check, and she apologized as it was "only chicken." Nothing else, no cheese, no spices, salsa, etc. I would have thought it would at least be as advertised. said. She was pleasant but neither she nor her supervisors were problem solvers as I am sure they had cheese for other dishes. Give the customer what he or she wants and they will return. I do applaud that this small chain business that seems family run. They offer 24 hour drive up on a bad side of town. I also applaud the young lady's courtesy and concern. On the quality of the food, the pulled chicken was nicely boneless but had little flavor (the cheese would have helped) and the tortilla was soggy, I suspect from the chicken not being drained before putting it on. I have never experienced that before.

The worst $15 Carne Asada burrito I've ever had. It might've had $.50 worth of meat. The rest was beans and rice. The only reason I didn't give it one because the guacamole and sour cream saved it. I'll never go back. On side note.. don't get Carne Asada burritos get breakfast burritos

This place only has a few good options. I love their mangonada. Their chicken and carne asada quesadilla are good portions the meat is very dry. Its only good because its drive thru is open 24 hours.

Omggg every time I come here they're SOOO yummy seriously . I work graveyard nearby and I've gotten the breakfast burritos during my "lunch", which is convenient being 24 hours and they're always fresh and big fulfilling portions . I can never finish it all lol . The other day I tried their normal street tacos and the asada & chicken were *chefs kiss . Again the portions ... they aren't shy lol . I'm obsessed with the tacos now . To top off the 5 star , the guy ringing me up is always so kind to me in the drive thru too !! Over all , clean restaurant , friendly employees , 24 hours , aaannnddd yummy food ! Def recommend :))

It is the cleanest best kept place of it's kind I have ever seen. The whole interior was immaculate and sanitized I was really impressed!

Don't be fooled by the divey exterior. Inside is clean, if minimal, and the food is terrific. They do the most perfect carnitas, right down to the crunchy caramelized bits. Serving sizes are generous, service is pleasant. If you go order inside the restaurant, there is a chips and salsa bar. I have gotten "dinner" items there at breakfast time, so yay for being open 24 hours.

Still in the COVID season, so it's drive -thru only.The menu's immense, for the first time drive through guy (me) it was a challenge. The man taking the orders was patient and polite. The young man at the service window was also.We received our food in no time at all and the order was correct.The food was okay, lived on the Central Coast my whole life. I say that to say I'm not a stranger to all things Hispanic most of all the food. The breakfast burrito was a meal but lacked anything special. Egg chorizo potato and cheese. Simple enough, not greasy.The beef and chicken hard tacos were stuffed, the chicken rolled tacos with guacamole and cheese were all good but not memorable. If I wasn't so lazy these all could easily be made at home.Last words...good enough but not mouth watering.

They're OK for a quick Mexican lunch or breakfast nothing special there are better places to go

Tocos were amazing definitely recommend if your looking for some very good tocos! Chips and salsa were incredible too!

Quick service, clean tables, good food. The asada fries are a hit, I'm a big dude and it fills me up well. The burritos are good but the breakfast burritos are better. Not much selection on beer. Been coming here for 3 years close to work and the drive through comes in clutch when everything else is closed. Recommend
