My favorite spot to get menudo on Sundays. They give home made tortillas and they have a delicious salsa to go with it and the condiments that go with the menudo as well. I always ask for two salsas.

Lovely service. Friendly smiling faces every visit. love the food!! So fresh and great portions. I enjoy the food here very much. When in town, this is the best restaurant in Strathmore, California right before Orange Works.

I have driven by this place for years and I am glad I finally stopped. Got 6 tacos and a Togo birria soup. First time I have ever tried goat soup and it's really good. I think it might be missing a little seasoning but glad I got it. Will definitely order it again

Love this place. Great location in proximity to my office to get lunch for everyone--we go here regularly and have been for over a year. Service is always happy and quick, we never have to wait for our food. We always get carne asada tacos and the hamburger combos, and we've tried the tostada de ceviche, tortas, camarones al mojo de ajo, and nacho supreme--everything is delicious and has great flavor. My absolute favorite is their green salsa--it is so spicy and has amazing flavor. Highly recommend!

How do you run out of beans at lunchtime?! But you buy the combination lady doesn't tell you they got no beans! When you came there for the beans! Should've went to La Fonda. lame!!

It's good the 3 stars are because of the price you can still see the old prices which have doubled and sometimes staff is off putting

El Portal is the place to eat in Strathmore. Their food is delicious and service excellent! I love their fries and cheesecake with horchata!

Tostadas de Ceviche are sooooooo good!!! Don't let the small, quaint building turn you off. Everything on the menu looks delicious. Fresh cilantro and onions! Everything on the menu looks great, they offer a wide range of beverages as well! I even saw some delicious looking cheesecake in fridge. Highly recommended joint!

Love this place food is always delicious and phone order are always 10 minutes for pick up. One of my favorite spots! Owners are super friendly!
