The Pollo Loco app screwed up our order but the person at the counter (Ami) bent over backwards to make sure we got what was promised. I'll always come to this Pollo Loco in the future because of her excellent service.

2/02/24 Getting lunch! Drive-thru! No line! Free rewards! 2, 3 peeps breast & wing combos ordered! The worker was kind. Lunchtime! My lunch was fresh & Delicious! Chicken, tender & tasty! Great corn tortillas, broccoli & pinto beans too! Of course, everything tasted better with their salsas! Mother felt the same! I missed a full picture of my entire lunch, but I promise it was Great! Really Great lunch with leftovers & Good service too! Highly recommended!

Sent my husband to get food at El Pollo Loco for dinner. He went to run an errand after work at Walmart so he ordered online even requesting salsas while he was shopping. When he got there, the guy told him everything was in the bag. I got the 2 cruncy birria tacos box and he got the burrito. When he got home, I opened the bag and there were no tacos, just burritos and chips and no napkins, utensils, no pico de gallo or avocado salsa1st- My husband should have checked the bag before he left, but he trusted when the worker told him everything was in there. I always check bags because I've worked in food and unintentionsl mistakes were made. 2nd- I used to work in the fast food industry so I don't believe in the mantra of customers are always right. However, when I called El Pollo Loco- The guy knew exactly what I called about, that he told my husband they were out of tacos and decided to give him burritos instead and that ny husband said it was okay. The reason why I know this is not true, that my husband was told and agreed, there are 2 foods that I hate, sour cream and bananas and my husband always calls and checks with me before he changes my order, anywhere. When I asked if the burrito had sour cream, the worker said yes. My husband has to call me if the stores don't have our brand toilet paper or detergent! However, they were willing to replace our order so thank goodness for that. We were going to have dinner at 9pm, but now not eating until 11pm. We wasted gas going back there and my husband even returned the 2 burritos and chips. So, El Pollo Loco- Don't just exchange your customers' items without asking. I originally gave this review 3 stars. However my husband came home and there's barely any chips in our bags and barely any consomme and again, we were not provided with utensils or napkins.

Food is always excellent, anything u get, 3 piece meal, beans and rice, quesadillas, taquitos. Really fresh hot delicious. But the service is hurried and impersonal. It is a really busy location but they should be more cordial. Also last time I went just 3 days ago they said "no taquitos anymore and no fries". That's fine but maybe suggest something else. Customer service is blah. But it's tolerable for the food.

If I can give it no stars then I would. First of all I placed an online order and I was parked at the curbside for about 30 min And I understand if the restaurant was busy but it wasn't not many cars on drive thru and mostly no cars in parking areaI pull up to the drive thru the girl apologized for the wait I go to the window she gives me my bag of food says "sorry I told them to take it but I guess they didn't " I ordered 3 combos which include drinks I asked her for the drinks she stayed " your order doesn't come w drinks" I show her the receipt she goes to bring me the drinks I called before I placed the order to see if they had a spicy salsa the guy literally stated yes we do. That's the only reason why I placed the order because I enjoy this food only w a certain salsa. Terrible service terrible Oh plus my burrito had bones in it. Luckily I was eating slow.

I enjoy the tacos from El Pollo Loco. Love the loco salad with that creamy cilantro dressing as well. My gripe is the service at the drive thru- it can be friendlier. Further, every time I order my tacos they forget the avocado. I'm paying $7 and some change for (2) tacos and get jipped. I even tell them "please do not forget the avocado this time" and they still don't put the avo in. I think I might cut this location out and just go to the one on west shaw.

Bought $65.83 in food through drive through. Bags are so thin when I got out of car the bag broke and foods all over my driveway. Thankfully all containers stayed closed. The lighter bag had my chicken tortilla soup and salad in it. Salad upsideown, soup was sideways. Soup was 90% broth and a couple bites of chicken and a couple carrots. I had to add my side of rice to the soup to give it any substance. Drive through person asked me if I wanted flour or corn tortillas. I told him flour, he repeated it. I got to window and he tells me I didn't tell him what kind of tortillas???? A simple I'm sorry what kind of tortillas did you want. This would've been far more polite. Incidentally; the tortillas didn't survive the bag ripping open. They ended up all over my driveway.Now here's the kicker; I'm disabled and using a walker. Imagine the sight of me trying to pick up all my food off driveway while people are driving by me staring at me trying not to fall. Thanks for the stress and humiliation.

Service, horrible! We waited at least 5 minutes before being attended.Food, it was not very pleasant. My dad ordered a thigh and they gave him the smallest thing there was.... I don't think that should even be served, it was more bone than anything else. Horrible, they didn't give us sauces or anything
