El Michoacano

I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant! I've never had a complaint about an order and we've been eating here as a family for over five years. The food is always fresh and delicious, it comes quick and they're attentive to order modifications. Everyone has a different favorite but mine is the super burrito. Literally the only thing I don't like very much are the free chips. I don't know why but they're usually stale.

Came here a couple of times before. And it was a disaster.But this last time it was worse.Order a mojito and had no flavor just tasted like mineral water. A tostada de camarón that didn't had pico de gallo but instead had bunch of lettuce, never in my life seen such a thing.I asked for menudo and it was the worst I ever had as soon as they brought it the horrible Sh$&@ smell was unbelievable. Had to return it!Wasn't going to pay for it and make sure they knew how nasty it was ewww!Never again this place is expensive and not worth it.

A friend told me about this restaurant and that how the food tasted very original and that they made homemade tortillas.Well let me tell you. They do make real original taste of Mexico! Also, they do make the tortillas. Flour or corn they make the tortillas in the moment. We order chile verde plate, my G-baby got the taco kids meal with rice, fries and beans. I got the shrimp a la devil. The chile verde was very tasty and spicy. The real Mexican flavor. My baby's taco was good according to him. He ate all the beans and the taco. That was what he really enjoyed. My meal was spicy but very tasty, flavorful and spicy, did I mention it was spicy! lol!! I really loved my shrimp a la devil sauce. The tortillas were soft and delicious. My husband got the flour tortillas and he said they tasted home made. I told him duh!! lol!! The service was great and friendly. Food was ready in no time. This is going to be one of our Mexican places to go. The only thing I would say that didn't meet my expectations was the rice. It was just blah. Not bluffy at all. The ambiance very familiar they do have Mexican music en the background. It was a scrumptious experience.

My GF had been wanting to take me here for some time and finally got the chance to try. Was not disappointed at all this place was awesome! Service was quick, kind, and friendly. Food was great and full of flavor. The decor was nice and felt like a comfortable place to eat. Would highly recommend this place for a good bite to eat.

Some of the fastest service I have ever received. The food felt like eating my abuelitas home cooked food. The drink was deliciouuussss. I chugged it. The restaurant is so cute and reminds me of a cantina I would see in Mexico. Second time here and I have to say, I was not disappointed.

Went on Sunday for lunch. There was plenty of parking. It was busy but not packed so we were seated immediately and were given chips and salsa. The salsa was actually spicy!!! Yes! We ordered and our drinks were served right away, our food was served within 15 minutes. We had Mar y Tierra and Camarones rancheros y pulpo along with a chabela and super chabela. Drinks were garnished and tasted delicious. There were several large families and there was plenty of seating for groups of 4 and 6 as well. We are definitely going back.

This is place is really nice, expect for the lighting. I didn't like that they don't have aguas frescas. Chille rellano as a side is awesome. I had the fish and shrimp soup it was very good and tasted home made almost. I will definitely be coming back.

A friend recommended this place for great Mexican food and Mariscos. Great ambiance inside with low lighting and booths made to look like island huts. Lots of bucket of beer specials and Micheladas with shrimp appetizer is your go to drink and meal all in one. Try the Mariscos molcajete with a great variety of seafood, large claw of crab, prawns with heads on, mussels, clams, octopus and more sitting in a delicious sauce that tantalizes all your tastebuds served with home made tortillas.

Good service, friendly people who seem to know what they're doing. Good food and great ambience. We'll definitely be back soon.

Nachos and Chicken and Shrimp salad were terrific. The service was top notch too!! Good location in Fresno and will go back next time in town
