El Mercado

I come over here during break on Monday nights. The tacos are good. I've also had the menudo and carnitas. very good. The store is clean and the price is moderate. located in downtown Madera this market is always open and has what you need. overall i'm satisfied.

one of the guys are weird and makes one not wanna go back unless with someone else.Today I went and dreaded to see the guy and to my luck he was the cashier I got ‍ he started mumbling saying something abt you and me

Wanted some tacos and a burrito, I ordered asada tacos and al pastor burritos took them home and to my delight the tacos were big packed with meat and made with homemade corn tortillas, plenty of meat and good balance of lettuce onions cilantro rice and beans in the burrito.The nice lady gave plenty of red and green hot sauce.The price is moderate about $9 for the burrito and $3 a taco, but was plenty of food.El mercado is a store, with the taqueria inside it's funny that I haven't been in there since I was a kid about 30 yrs ago, then it was a different store.

I usually go here for the store part, they have a lot of stuff in here for being a fairly small building! The store part is good and right by my work so its super convenient for me.I have also at at the food counter, the food is just ok. I like that they make the tortillas fresh when you order, but they were just average.

A great place to pick up whatever food or drinks you need. Large variety of drinks, chips, vegetables and other foods. Great atmosphere and good helpful staff as well as clean and in a great area. Would definitely recommend!
