El Birote Bakery

El Birote Bakery has a great selection of pan dulce and very delicious cookies. The costumer service was great, the place is very clean and organized. Will definitely stop by again to try more things.

I've only tried a few items, so can't (yet) rate it a 5. My next visit will be for the plain bread (bolillos) and conchas. Meanwhile, I very much recommend the pumpkin-filled empanadas, especially when the filling is still warm. Delicious! Another favorite, I don't know the name, has two circular, crumbly sweet cake-like pieces, with strawberry filling between them. So good!Ambiance - it's a to-go place, so there aren't tables, menus, etc. It's a clean store with a modern appearance. The women at the counter have all been very nice, and helpful. I was totally shocked - my two pastries totalled $3.50. You can't get a soda for that any more! Dear owners: Please keep your reasonable prices, and please keep up the great baking.
