Ducey's on the Lake

Seated and served by an amazing young man Matthew Dugovi. Matthew was friendly and willing to share information about the lake area. Service was excellent. We sat at a table near the window overlooking Bass Lake and the surrounding mountains. We had a Ruben sandwich and French fries with garlic aioli sauce for dipping that was delicious. Highly recommended. Let's not forget the full bar but we just had a couple of beers from the taps. Located in a beautiful lodge hotel.

What a beautiful place to dine, very country like, clean, and festively decorated for the holidays.When we came in, I had the feeling that nobody wanted to serve us, however, to find out that the server was on break. For that I'm not going to give in less than five stars because right after that the pace was picked up. Immediately we ordered drinks, and my wife ordered a dirty martini vodka and she says that it was the best she ever had. And my wife knows her drinks as she sleeps with an open bar next her side of the bed.We order the lobster crab cake appetizer, my impressions were, that's it? We were served two lobster cakes and a bunch of lettuce. However, they still get a five star because they were very good especially the remola sauce. The salad was well prepared and I got a very tiny cup of delicious mushroom soup. A tiny cup I said, but it was the best mushroom soup I ever had. Finally, it all made sense why everything was so small portions because when I order the seafood pasta it was a humongous serving. A meal for two and it was out of this world. My wife had the garlic marinated steak medallions. Her dish looked amazing as well. We finished it with the hot molten lava chocolate cake and after 65 years that was the best freaking dessert. Everything deserves a five star regardless of the minor slow start in service. Look forward to coming back soon

So glad that Ducey's is still open in the off-season! We grabbed lunch here for the first time, after coming to Bass Lake pretty much my whole life. We've been to the Marina Bar and Grill a bunch but for some reason never Ducey's! I'm glad we did. Gracie was our server and was super attentive, friendly, and on top of everything. Supervisor Connie came by our table as well and our kids chatted with her a while. She was really sweet and helpful also. The food was really tasty- we got burgers, salads, and kids meals. Overall a great experience with cute decor and a great view!

Never been to this place it's awesome nice lake setting log cabin look but very classy stuff. The bass lake is hurting a little very low oakhurst has a definite drought going on nevertheless it's beautiful especially at nite pretty busy. Parking is great a big private lot lots of spaces. So we started out with drinks that had an appetizer spicy calamari very good . All three of us ordered the same thing filet steak very tasty they mixed the order a little but we figured it out one steak had to be cooked a little more. My wife is the only one that ordered something different a salmon steak I tasted it very good it's not cheap but very good the help was very attentive but you can tell they are running a short staff . We had no desert we were stuff oh I forget they had a great fresh salad very yummy all in all I go back next year when we visit our friends in oakhurst

We are staying at the Pines Resort for two nights and this is the only restaurant onsite and around here. We had both breakfast and dinner here. It's pretty pricey but the location is fantastic. It's next to the lake with amazing views.For breakfast, my husband and I shared scrambled eggs, harsh browns, fried chicken, and pancakes. They were able to split it for us which was very nice. It's a typical breakfast so there's nothing to rave about. I also had hot chocolate and it was very good.For dinner, we had alfredo fettuccine added on salmon ($21 and $13 extra for salmon), pork chop ($27), and fried chicken ($27). The portion is HUGE. Two people can easily share one dish. Everything was really good except the pork chop was a bit dry. My dad couldn't finish it. Fried chicken was very juicy and soft. I also had cadillac magarita and it was tasty and it was surprisingly a lot cheaper ($13) than where I live ($19 in Sonoma County).The service was great for both breakfast and dinner. Food came out a bit slow. Overall it was a good experience!

Delicious lunch here on December 1, 2024. Great place to stop on our way home from Yosemite. I hadn't been to Bass Lake in many years. The resort and shops were nicely decorated for the holidays. Plenty of seating upstairs for lunch. We ate out on the patio. I think next time I would eat inside if available. Friendly service. We were checked on often. Enjoyed our burgers and fries.

Good food and Service id recommend a window seat. Best restaurant in town. Keep Bass lake Blue

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!! A Bass Lake Gem! What a fantastic restaurant! Upstairs from the fine dining restaurant, Ducey's offers nice indoor dining, a full bar with some seating, TVs and patio dining over looking the marina/lake! All part of the pines resort. Our service was great! Waiter was friendly and very attentive to our party if 10, and everything was tasty! They have one of the best Ruben sandwiches I've ever had! Our server also brought out a complimentary dessert with a candle for my sweet sister in law's birthday Highly recommend!!

There are not many dining options at Bass Lake, on the lake, but Ducey's on the Lake is named appropriately. Service was impeccable and our steaks were perfectly cooked. Although we were here in the evening, and could not see the lake, the views of the lighted homes was very nice.Maybe because of it be off-season, the bar was closed.Lot of great old pictures to be viewed here too.

Located inside The Pines Resort. I suggest you make a reservation to ensure that you get a table. We arrived at 4pm and by 4:30pm, most tables were taken. Popular sit down restaurant with amazing Bass Lake views. We started with appetizers, Sesame-Seared Sushi Grade Fresh Ahi and Brussels sprouts. We were also offered complementary bread and butter. My boyfriend ordered the ribeye with garlic mashed potatoes. I ordered the grilled jumbo shrimp skewers, with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus 9/10. The asparagus was perfect! Service was great, the only thing was that they did take long to bring our food. You will also find Ducey's Bar & Grill upstairs. These are two separate restaurants. Plenty of parking when we arrived but they do share parking with the Marina.
