Dreamor Ranch

I love this ranch...its not just about the horses but the people taking care of them! Mindy loves her horses. She treats them as her kids and thats the greatest part of our ride. Last ranch we went horse riding at, my friend cried because one of the staff kept punching the horse to stop him when hes not listening. It was quite a dramatic experience for all of us!!! With Mindy, we had a great and adventurous ride, showing us around, giving us the history of this and that and by the time we left, we felt like locals:):):)I highly recommend Dreamor Ranch to anybody looking for a great family time in the Yosemite area. You wont regret it!!!! I love this place and I want to thank you Mindy so much for such a lovely time. My niece enjoyed her horse riding adventure and we enjoyed the peace and beauty of nature. Thank you again Mindy!!!! And thank you Jack and all your buddies for being amazing lovable and huggable dream team!!!! I miss you guys already:):):):):)

My granddaughter had a great time horseback riding and the scenery was beautiful. I kept my promise to take her on an adventure. But I have to say I was a bit disappointed in the care and condition of the horses we rode. My granddaughter rode Jewels and I rode Lucky. Jewels and Lucky were very dirty and Lucky had sores around his nose. Their tails were matted and full of shit. Their manes were tangled. The water trough they were given to drink out of was full of algae and dark green. During the 90 minute ride it was a struggle to get them to do more than a very slow walk and near the end of the ride Lucky kept stopping and was clearly out of breath. Jewels is 20 years old and had to be lead in order to keep up with the lead horse. I felt bad for the horses and feel we got the smaller slower, older, low quality horses because they had a 3 hour trip after ours. Mindy was not available, so her assistant was there. I understand they rescue neglected and abused horses and the rides help pay for the care which is a great cause, but I was hoping for a ride on the beautiful horses we saw in the pictures.

We had the best time on our ride with Dreamor Ranch. Each of the horses have a story as to how they got there and you get to learn about all their sweet and stubborn personalities. Highly recommend!!!!!

This was one of the best experiences that I've had in awhile! Mindy and her helper were so nice. They took us out to the beach and let us trot/canter with her horses. After the ride, she let us feed treats to the horses which was a fun experience in itself. She even took many photos of us and shared them with us for free. She's a wonderful lady who dearly loves her horses. Her horses were all so friendly, sweet, and got along so well with one another, which was a relief since we were all riding so close to one another. Every time I look back at these photos I can't help but smile! I'll have such sweet memories of these moments.

We have went to several horseback rides near Yosemite but I will have to say the Dreamor Ranch was our favorite!! Mindy the owner was very friendly and the whole experience was very personable! I would highly recommend it to everyone. I know for certain we will be back!!

Amazing ride along the beach at Moss Landing. Beautiful horses, in great condition, and easy to ride. Their rescue/nonprofit mission statement will warm your heart. And the scenery absolutely cannot be beat! My daughter was grinning ear to ear. Mindy the owner, was great with all of us, teaching us all the very basics of riding. But she gave a little extra teaching to my daughter who had ridden before. Her assistant Rianna was great too. This business has the soul and charm of two people who really love horses, love the land they're riding on, and love sharing both of them with people. We cannot wait to return and take another ride, maybe up in the hills next time!

Mindy was awesome! We got there at 12 pm on New Years Eve and we left at 3:00. So we got in a good amount of riding in! Mindy took photos of us while we rode and let us feed the horses after the ride. Beautiful ride and the horses are so friendly! Great thing to do if you're visiting Yosemite and are in town for an extra day or 2. Wear masks when you get there but on the ride itself you can take them off :)

Great experience! My eight year old wanted to go for a trail ride. He/we had no experience other than riding on a pony. They took the time to explain everything and make sure that my son was taken care of. The horses are very well trained and are just the sweetest horses ever. My son seemed like a natural rider. We road on our own and had the best time ever. I definitely recommend. Not to mention they are a nonprofit and the money goes towards the rescue horses. The rides are reasonably priced. They also take pictures along the way and send them to you.

Kyla took me and my three-year-old granddaughter on a 1.5-hour trip. It was nice and safe. Everything was perfectly prepared and the horses behaved themselves. The next day we also received lovely photos. Thank you.

This was by far the best trail ride I have ever been on. I highly, highly recommend choosing Dreamer Ranch if you are looking to book a trail ride near Yosemite. Mindy was a great guide who is really friendly and knowledgeable of the area and horses. She obviously is very passionate about the horses. The horses were all responsive, and very well mannered. You can really tell Mindy puts her heart into training these horses. You can see the connection she has with them when she introduces you to each horse and she tells you their life story.The trail she took us out on was absolutely beautiful with stunning views of the surrounding mountains and peaceful scenery everywhere you look. Mindy gave us history on the land and the town. The experience was personal and I absolutely loved it. Not commercialized at all. Mindy took pictures for us and shared them with us so we could just enjoy the ride. The drive from Yosemite Park to Dreamer Ranch was also very beautiful. It is about an hour, so you will need to plan for that, but it is well worth it. If you are looking to ride horses near Yosemite, your search should end here. Book this ride.
