Dope Barbershop - Clovis

Took my grandson to get his hair cut for prek pics. The staff was nice and professional and took his haircut seriously even though he was 4. I'm definitely going to be a return client.

Just left the shop, we were the last customer of the day. Look at this mess...didn't realize it was so bad until we got home. My poor son...Just wanted to update my review:The owner (Vince Cortez) reached out immediately, apologized, and made things right. The manager of the Clovis shop (Bree) fixed our son's hair free of charge, and we couldn't be happier. Who knew a double hard part was this cool? Went from one star to five stars! Thanks!!!

Had appointment with Saul at 10:40am confirmed Booksy came to shop waiting and waiting and no respect formy time without even notifying me my appointment was canceled wow! Just a phone call or text would have save me an hour of my time communicating is key in respecting people's time!

They want to be dope but this is nothing more than a bottom of the range barbershop. Many unskilled barbers here that can't even fade or cut for their life. People keep changing and leaving. Don't let music, game table and their led ring lights fool you. Went here a few times with 3 different barber. Schedule and appointment and it's $10 more than the walk in price is ridiculous. Hair cut never even - ex 4 on top, he just went over once. Typically you would go over a couple or a few times to make sure it's all even. I asked for a 0 mid fade and dude gave me like a V in the back. Only showed the front and didn't notice until I got home. Take your money else where.

Whoever the owner/manager is in the corner with the man bun. Please tell her I said HOLLLLLLLA cutie! Aside from that, my cuts always come out *chefs kiss*. That is all, thank you for your time.

Theres a haircut and then there's ART. Tech The Barber at Dope Barbershop is a straight up artist. My boy and i have been coming to Tech for years and yet he still blows my mind, like todays design he did Sonic on my boy and it would be award winning if it was a competition

Went and got a hair cut here ... walked inside my house after and my wife started laughing. For context I get the most basic haircut ever. 2 on the sides high fade, finger length in the top, basically a high and tight. Wife said that the blending looked like I was reverse balding, there was no fade at the bottom, random patches had long hairs from spots he missed, and he didn't even cut the hair in the back of my neck. To make it worse when I called back to get it fixed they said I either needed to go to the same guy (heck no, Alejandro Tapia was his name) or pay for another haircut. Please do avoid this place at all costs.

Whoever cut my husbands hair needs to get their license revoked. Husband came in for a trim at the top of his head and a fade/cleanup all around. The guy ended up cutting off way to much at the top of his head, and didn't touch the sides. So now his hair is puffy on the sides and flat on top. Had it been April 1st I would've thought it was a joke. They butchered it so bad we may just shave it all off. Extremely disappointed seeing they had good reviews on Yelp. Would not come back and would not recommend .UPDATE: Husband went back in this morning to see if they could fix it. They attempted to fix it and still CHARGED HIM FULL PRICE after they cut and said, "it's technically another haircut", #%&@ your business, how the hell are you gonna charge us another haircut because you couldn't do it right the first time !? Had it been cut the right the first time we wouldn't have had to come in to fix it. Had it been cut right the first time it wouldn't have been a "another haircut". Not to mention the "fixed" haircut still doesn't look good. If they had told us that they were gonna charge full price for the fix cut we would've just gone somewhere else to get it fixed.

Getting kids haircuts is probably the only thing this place is good for. I did a walk in and told the guy what I wanted and emphasized I did not want my hair thinned and he said "Oh don't worry I only thin if people ask for that". The guy was cutting my hair and would check his phone after every little cut. After getting one side done he started thinning my hair... I asked if that was the the thinning scissors and he replied with "Yea bro but don't worry I'm not thinning the top". this guy completely screwed up my hair and made it way too short. At the end I told him he forgot to cut the front of my hair the same way he cut the rest of my hair and he spun me very aggressively in my chair and went on a tangent on how he can't read my mind. Trust me don't do a walk in at dope barbershop.
