Donut Star

Great tasting donuts! It is too bad that they were recently bought over, but Judy's donut should taste just as good.

It is always a hit when I show up to work with a dozen donuts from here! Of course I can't resist the glazed donut bars or the sugar twists donuts!

Friendly people behind the counter, fresh yummy donuts, and a great location. At the corner of Shaw and Clovis you will find Donut Star serving donuts early in the morning until late in the evening. I continue to frequent this business because they accept my debit card. Cash ONLY?! Really other donut places...who carries cash? Not me. Donut Star makes all the regular donuts that I like: glazed, maple bars, chocolate cake with sprinkles. Sometimes I feel like a hot coffee and sometimes milk. They have both. If I had to add one little picky thing I don't care for...the napkins. They're the thin white napkins that remind me of diner napkins. I'd rather they just hand me a paper towel. Oh well, I'm messy with my donuts I guess. Oh wait, maybe a wet wipe would be even better!

Our family is new to Clovis and we had been looking for a really good donut shop. We've found it it Donut Star. After reading about this shop on Yelp, I decided to pay them a visit after an appointment today. I bought a half dozen assortment, including my favorite, apple fritters. The family loved them!The staff was friendly and they have getting their customers in and out the door down to a science. Really glad we found this wonderful donut shop!

Clean establishment and the ladies are always welcoming! great customer service and a wide selection of donuts and pastries My go to for delicious anytime of the day treats!

Donuts with a side of cockroaches! Went there 3/23/24 and sat in the little dining are to have a doughnut and some coffee. As we were sitting there, we saw a cockroach scurry out from under the door that leads to the area behind the counter. Then we saw another. And then a third one scuttling across the floor of the dining area.Now keep in mind, there is no food in this area other than what people are eating. If we saw 3 cockroaches in just the front dining room, you can only imagine how infested the storage areas and kitchen are where food is stored and actually prepped. Hope you like your doughnuts with roach waste and insect particles!

Best donuts ever!! I've come several times and absolutely love their donuts. Went to Krispy Kreme the other day (I don't live in this side of town) and was so sad. Their donuts are so small and dry compared to a donut Star! They are always so fresh and perfect! The service is always great, very friendly service! The shop is cute and typically pretty quiet.

This place has become very expensive. Today I got my kids donuts, we got 4 of them and I paid $13.75. I will not be going back here, that is just ridiculous!

Roach found moving in my donut box! A refund was given but I will not go back. This place had the best selection but this is not acceptable. I wish I could write a good review because this was my go to place for donuts.

Found a long hair inside my donut once will not go back and some of the donuts smell and taste stale
