Don’t Bite The Bone BBQ

We frequently travel up north and have always seen a BBQ rig here but finally stopped in and learned that this place is new. Anyhoo, I'm SOOOO GLAD I stopped by. I bought a plate of brisket, potato salad and chili. I've never bought brisket that didn't need BBQ sauce to add flavor and moisture, so I immediately slathered on the sauce. I get into my truck and taste the brisket and it was freaking SO GOOD! So good I had to go back in and get a second plate and left the BBQ sauce off!! This brisket was so flavorful and cooked to absolutely perfection, the sauce was not needed! Now as for the potato salad, I am very particular about potato salad. Most people add too much mustard or it tastes like vinegar, but this potato salad truly tasted homemade!!! I highly recommend stopping inif you get a chance!!!I know it's going to be a must stop whenever I head up north!!!

This BBQ spot is an absolute gem! From the moment I stepped through the doors, I could tell I was in for something special. The rwelcoming atmosphere sets the perfect tone for a true BBQ experience.Let's talk about the food: unbelievable. The brisket was melt-in-your-mouth tender with a perfect bark and a rich, smoky flavor that showed real care went into the preparation . The ribs are a standout--juicy, flavorful, and falling off the bone with every bite. We didn't get it today but in the past that what makes us keep coming back The pulled pork is amazing !! My new fb as of today !!The chicken has a light smoke and very tender . And let's not forget the sides! The mac and cheese always is just right. Coleslaw & green beans yum everything is season just right not to much .. What really stood out, though, was the attention to detail the way the plate is made .. Always our go to on our way to visit family in OC Thank you so much

12/13/24 Hot and New! Must try!The worker was Great! They only do chicken thighs. FYI! 4 meat plate ordered with 2 chicken thighs, Pork ribs and tri-tip. Potato salads and extra order of chili beans. The worker was Great! Asked if they had spicy BBQ sauce and they just got it in. Ordered that too! Arrived to pick up! Greeted upon entering! Large, open space with music playing. Order almost ready. Paid for it, order was ready and waiting at the end table and wished a good day with many greets goodbye! Great! The worker told me they've been open about a month. Lunchtime! Order split. It's a lot!Chicken thigh was Really Delicious! Great BBQ flavor and the spicy BBQ sauce made it even better! Potato salad was Great! Pretty much mashed potatoes. Chili beans 1/2 were flavorful with a nice, spicy kick. Tri-tip was tasty! Rib was Really Great! Tender and DELICIOUS with a lot of flavor! Mother said hers was GREAT! Lots of leftovers too! Great service & GREAT lunch! HIGHLY recommended! They deserve every star!

100% traditional BBQSo dam good, flavor, the smoke, omg..!!!! Ribs have that tug you need for a great Rib, brisket on point..! Real friendly people, just amazing

I'm always in search of good BBQ. I came here on a Monday at 11:00 am. I ordered a pound of brisket, a pound of ribs, a pulled pork sandwich, coleslaw, chili beans, and green beans. The ribs were over cooked, the brisket was a bit dry, and the pulled pork was dry. The meats were no over smokey, which I like. I didn't care for the coleslaw or the green beans. I liked both BBQ sauces. The main man behind the counter was very nice. I've had worse BBQ and better.

Worth the stop! Nice place to sit, enjoy some music, and a great meal. Friendly and helpful service. I ordered the 2 meat on o with Brisket and BBQ chicken with a side of potato salad and chili beans. The sides hit the spot. I really enjoyed the chili with ground beef. The brisket had a soft pull and the smoke has perfect on both meats. I have to say the chicken was definitely a favorite with the spicy BBQ. New place to stop on highway 99.

Brisket brisket brisket! These guys know how to smoke brisket. No knives needed it is so tender. We ordered 2 of the two meat plates. Both got brisket and then pulled pork and ribs. Ribs were fall off the bone delish. Pork was perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of smoke and saltiness. If you're looking for good BBQ, which is hard to find...GO HERE!!

An amazing bbq place... definitely worth the drive... we had a variety of items including all bbq and several sides..... yummmmmmm!!!Best bbq... I see why they have won all the bbq contests in the Valley!!!!

The moment you walk in you will feel like a texas bbq place. Such amazing bbq! The best Texas style bbq you will find. Staff is very friendly and they have a variety of food options! Their brisket, is to die for! I had the brisket sandwich with a side of chili beans and amazing potato salad. Highly recommend stopping by they're located off of hwy 99 in Traver.
