Don Pepe's never disappoints. They continue to have the best fish tacos in town. And when you order ahead, the service is very fast.

Me and my wife went to visit again and I'm sad to report this but the nachos aren't the same. The carnitas are cubed versus shredded and they just taste different. This is the second time in a row that I threw the nachos away. The reason for the four stars was due to the rest of the food tasting good, the restaurant being clean, and getting our food in a timely manner. It was my first time ordering the menudo and I liked it. Make sure to ask for no foot (sin pata) and add hominy. My wife got a spicy shrimp taco and a taco of buche, she liked both tacos. I will be back but I was disappointed.

I was really impressed with the speed of service. I put my order in, went to my car to get my drink then wash my hands in the restroom, and came back out with the server bringing my food to me before I even reached the table.

Finally got their tacos, they were not skimpy on the meat! Comes with 2 tortillas so I just ended up making another taco

I'm so sad came here with my family I've been here several times the food and service has always been good until today my son found a dead fly in his burrito I don't know if I'll ever come back. They did refund us for the burrito and the girl at the register apologized.

I have only been here twice. I'm a nacho and burrito person. The first time I came here I had the nachos. I loved them, but the asada was a little chewy. The second time I went I got a carne asada burrito. The asada burrito had asada, guacamole, refried beans, rice, and cheese. The flavor of the asada was amazing, it tasted like it came right off the grill. There were no chewy pieces either. The overall flavor of the burrito was good but adding salsa and cilantro and other things would have made it better. Reason I'm giving 4 stars is because overall flavors of food is great but could be better. Also tortilla chips I bought were straight in a plastic bag. I'm used to them being in a paper bag but maybe they were in a rush.

I have been here numerous time, but haven't reviewed it for some reason. Now is the time. I have loved their spicy shrimp burrito, and their carne asada tacos, in the past, but last night I wanted something "lighter". I asked if the fish in the spicy fish taco was breaded and fried - not what I wanted - but was pleased to find out that it wasn't breaded and cooked in butter. I was good with that. I ordered two spicy fish tacos that come with cabbage, avocados, diced tomatoes, and onions. They were freaking delicious! Filled me up too. Oh and their Jamaica water was wonderful. Get a large. You'll thank me lat

I'm either ordering the shrimp tacos, tripas tacos or the tripas super burrito It's a must to try, so delicious and satisfying!

What stands out at this place is that it's always busy or has customers. Locals know it's good. The lights at night are super cute. Service is super fast. I love the rice and beans cause they are authentic and the shrimp burrito.

My favorite tacos in Fresno ...always same taste and good quality meat.. the price per taco is cheap it's full of meat compared to the overpriced food trucks ..
