We had a fantastic experience at DiCicco's Italian Restaurant in Clovis! This place is absolutely adorable, with a warm and inviting ambiance that's perfect for families. The portion sizes are enormous, so be sure to bring your appetite!I ordered the Angel Hair Pomodoro, and the portion was so huge that I couldn't finish it--I had to take the rest home (and it was just as delicious the next day). My husband got the gnocchi, and it was big enough for him to share with our three-year-old comfortably. Every bite was flavorful, fresh, and satisfying. The service was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff who made sure we were well taken care of. It's definitely a great spot for families, especially those with kids. The combination of the cozy atmosphere, generous portions, and great service made it a memorable meal.If you're in the area, DiCicco's is a must-visit. Just make sure you come hungry! Highly recommend for anyone looking for delicious Italian food and a family-friendly environment.

We usually visit one of DiCicco's other locations since it's closer to our house, but we happened to be on this side of town and decided to give this location a try. I didn't think my usual spot could be beat, but to my surprise, this experience was even better! Our server was outstanding--extremely friendly, quick with the drink service, and attentive throughout the meal. It's clear they take great pride in making their customers feel welcome and cared for. The food was absolutely delicious, just as you'd expect from DiCicco's, and we were thrilled to find that this location also offers a full bar--a nice bonus!I have nothing but great things to say about this restaurant. We will definitely be back, as it was well worth the drive. Highly recommend giving it a try!

During a recent visit to Clovis, CA, our hunger led us straight to Italian food, and Di Cicco's seemed like the perfect choice. The restaurant wasn't very busy when we arrived, but we had to wait a few moments before the hostess emerged from the back where she appeared to be handling a to-go order. Once she returned, we were seated promptly. Our waitress, while quick and efficient, seemed a bit rushed and perhaps a touch curt--understandable, given that it was the day before a holiday. Now, let's talk about the food. It was solid, though not extraordinary:Caprese Salad: The cheese was quite firm, almost reminiscent of chicken at times. There wasn't quite enough balsamic vinegar, but the overall flavor was still enjoyable.Chicken Parmigiana: Flavorful, delicious, and hearty--definitely a filling option.Spaghetti Limon: Tasty and well-executed, though the artichoke hearts had a canned taste and could've been chopped smaller. The chicken was tender and flavorful, which helped elevate the dish.Calzone: Unfortunately, this was a letdown. It was quite dry and difficult to cut, even with a knife. On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd rate it a 3.Cheese Garlic Bread: A standout. It was excellent, and the marinara sauce had a delightful kick to it.We also ordered a glass of wine, which the server forgot at first, but it did arrive just as we were getting our bill. The prices were reasonable for an Italian meal, and the service, while not exceptional, was adequate. The restaurant itself was clean and welcoming, with food that ranged from impressive to mediocre. Overall, Di Cicco's is worth checking out, though your experience may vary.

First time here, on travel. Nice place. My BFF got the Lasagna, but she said the layers had no sauce, only the top had sauce. She also said the meat inside tasted and looked liked ground chicken. She liked it, but it wasn't what she expected. I got the Fettuccini Alfredo with a side of meatballs. Fabulous. The pasta was cooked al denté, which is important to me. The bread is not sourdough, unfortunately, but the homemade, baked croutons in the salad were crunchy and divine. Flavored perfectly! Our server, Josie was a kick. She was very personable and had a great sense of humor. We only had water with our dinner, as we had already had ale at the Renaissance Faire.

We had just got off the freeway rushed to check in our hotel and hit the street to find a place to sit and eat. We found this place! What made me even want to stop was the corner window and saw people in dinning and leaving... so I'm thinking it's a happening restaurant. Sad part is that they closed at 8:00 pm and it was 7:55 pm... we walked in and figured maybe we can ask if they would still let us get a to go, but around this time I'm thinking they are cleaning up. Nope!! They welcomed us in and sat us down. That alone was great and the food was even better. Pricing was average per plate. I ordered the fettuccine Al bianco which I've never had. It came with onions, bacon, chicken and mushrooms.. right on point it hit my tongue. A simple but yummy ranch/blue cheese salad with some side bread and butter.Service and food was great-

My first time at DiCicco's and we happened to stop by while they had a stand up comedy thing going! Service was decent; the host was super outgoing but our server did take a long time to get to us and to get things to us (probably because they wanted us to stay for the whole show?). Anyway, here's what we got & what we thought: Pizza (not pictured) (1/5): I don't know if it was cooked all the way through. The crust was still really doughy, pepperoni was soft instead of crunchy, and toppings were minimal.Ravioli Marsala (3/5): Portion size was so tiny! I also wasn't really a fan of the sauce itself--- it was really meaty/salty/thick. I think I'd try something else if I return. Italian Nachos (3.5/5): Free because I checked in on Yelp! I'm not sure what I expected, but it wasn't fries with toppings (which was mostly sour cream, so the fries got soggy quick). Still pretty good though! Pomegranate Margarita (2/5): Just tasted like syrup and alcohol. Blood orange Mule (4/5): Yummyy!! Kinda tasted like Sunny D. I don't think it was strong enough to justify the price, but it was a safe option. We ended up getting two of these. As for the comedy show, prepare to be waiting for a couple hours!! They let us pay at the very end (plus just basic courtesy) so we sat through the whole thing. Tips are appreciated for the comedians and they have open mic at the end of the night. I don't think comedy shows are my thing, but it was still fun to experience at least once.

Stopped in Sunday for a late lunch with my granddaughter. Love the new look inside. I had manicotti and my girl had shrimp fettuccine. We loved it, especially the bread which is always delicious. Wonderful service from Kristina V. Out of all the restaurants that come and go, I'm happy this one is still here.

It has been a while since my last review but with an 11-year-old son in three different sports, it is hard to find time to dine in. It was the 23rd of March I believe my reservation was for 530. I failed to say in the notes that we wanted a booth called The Young Lady was more than helpful on the phone and let me know she could make it happen went in we were seated very quickly. The place was pretty packed but you couldn't tell by the type of service received. I am a Project Manager and always say the team makes the dreamI believe our table was visited by everybody in the front including the manager who refilled our drinks, and I haven't even mentioned the food yet I had the London Broil with the wine sauce (perfect) the wife had something I can't pronounce (Loved it) and my son, of course, had a pizza all to himself. The only reason I didn't give Five stars it's an old habit of mine I never give a perfect score I always feel there's room for improvement see you soon Ray.

Always love coming to Old Town Clovis and getting to stop in to DiCicco's. Had the pleasure of dining in the other night and as always the food and drinks were delicious and service prompt. Especially loved the service from our server Lara, she's a superstar. Will definitely be requesting her service next time we're able to drop in. The overall atmosphere and wonderful staff keep us coming back. Keep it up!

07/27/24Went to the Comedy show. The performances of the pre-show were not really funny. The main act was Raunchy. DiCicco's need to rate their acts. This one would have been rated XXXVulgar. The soup at Clovis is not as good as the minestrone soup in Madera.
