DiCicco's Italian Restaurants

I came here mid week for dinner. Staff is really friendly and menu is extensive. I ordered the Fettucini with scampi tossed in garlic oil sauce. Light, fresh and soft sour dough bread was brought with the order. I enjoyed the bread with butter. A small side salad also came with the pasta order. Salad included romaine lettuce, cheese, salami and tomatoes. For a side salad, the portion is generous. I enjoyed the large scampi tossed in my fettuccine. A large portion and very flavorful.I definitely will return, recommend and enjoyed my meal.

I'll start this off by saying, I've ordered from the downtown location and their pizza was delicious. Fluffy great crust, full toppings. However, this Shaw location I ordered, for the very first time ever, a medium size 2 topping pizza and I guess it was my mistake for not checking it before we left but when I got home and open the box I was met with was a pizza that had the toppings on 1/2 side of it and it was just cheese on the other side with a couple of specs of topping. The crust was flat and hard cracker like and not the fluffy soft crust I would expect since that's what I received at the downtown location. We had already gotten home by the time I opened up the box and noticed these issues and it wasn't important enough to drive all the way back to get a replacement so we ate it, but the pizza was not great. I don't even think we finished half of it. I don't know if this was a one off or if this is how this particular location makes their pizzas but probably will not be ordering from them again.

Good food,great service,fair prices. What more could you want. Pleasing atmosphere. One of our favorite places for dinner

It's the day after Thanksgiving and every place is super packed. My sister tried to put our name down for 20 minutes, and the hostess was not very acknowledging or friendly as she seemed overwhelmed. When I met up with my sister in the restaurant at the 20 minute mark the hostess told me to step aside, so she can continue helping the takeout orders. Eventually we were seated and told we needed to view lunch menus, and had one dinner menu that had the actual prices on it. (Very strange) this took a bit longer to decide what we wanted as the descriptions to the dishes was on the one dinner menu.Ur waiter was very nice. Luckily it was my birthday so I had the great company of my family to make it better throughout the waiting process.I ordered a pizza and shared with my mom and dad. We got a giant, which was huge and great for that price. I also ordered the ultimate sampler which is nice because it had a little bit of everything on it. The ambience was nice a little loud as there were multiple big groups .You have time to wait and are very patient I totally recommend.

We ordered from this location for our store Christmas dinner for the first time and probably the last time. Our delivery was 45 minutes late even though we called the day before to confirm . They were supposed to supply plates and utensils which were not delivered and they gave us no receipt. We asked for them to bring us back the receipt which now we have to go get, he told us he was too busy to do. The food was good. Plus they kept our tip.

Wow!!! New management and this place took a nose dive!! Took over 15 minutes to finally get our drink orders delivered to the table. Ordered the calamari steak and the portion size is about 1/3rd of what it used to be.. Calamari sauce was way too lemony and salty. Pasta dishes were also considerably smaller. Go elsewhere...or just get some Chef Boyardee!!!

Came here yesterday and had the Marsala chicken which was great. My date had the Scarface pasta and loved it. It has been years since I've had DiCicco's because I've been living out of state, but I have moved back to the Central Valley recently and will be back again soon

Thank you loved hostess she received us with a welcome smile after the terrible experience at a different restaurant made up with these people server were awesome and kitchen staff was great the cook customized my fiance order to hus needs loved presentation of the side salad and ours pkates

Great food and awesome servers. It could use a bit of an update, but other than that the place is great.

We usually eat at the DiCiccos on Clinton but decided to try this location as it's closer to our house. Never again! We waited a good 10 minutes before anyone took our order. The bread was served in a tacky plastic bowl, lined with paper. At the Clinton restaurant, it's served in a wicker basket, lined with a cloth napkin, keeping the bread warm. We ordered the eggplant parmigiana. At Clinton, it's a layered, deep dish dinner. At Shaw, it was a single layer and tasted nothing like the delicious meal we get at Clinton. The decor here was plain and the restaurant looked more like a fast food place than a fancy, romantic restaurant like Clinton. It's definitely worth the drive to the Clinton location than this one on Shaw.
