DiCicco's Italian Restaurant - Fresno

Came here because we were on our way to see the lights for Christmas on Christmas Tree Ln. The restaurant looked packed, but it was due to a party they had in their venue. The restaurant part was pretty empty. The flavor was good, but not the service or at least our waiter. He never asked if we needed anything not even more napkins which we needed we just did without. The chicken parm had too much sauce that the chicken was soggy and not crispy how it supposed to be. It filled us because the portions are too big to finish, which is a good thing if you feel famished. Not sure we will be back if we are in the area.

7/28/24 Getting lunch to go with wine!! I called and ordered a chicken baked calzone with jalapeños added and an extra sauce. The worker was very kind and said it would be ready in about 20 minutes.. I went in to pick it up shortly later. The restaurant is very nice. Calm and low key! Authentic Italian look. Italian music playing. Great!! Greeted upon entering! Great worker!! Order was ready!! Paid for it and received with good day wishes!! Appreciated!!Lunchtime!! Calcine split.My half was REALLY DELICIOUS! Just great with a good amount of chicken and loved the broccoli and mushrooms included! Plus, jalapeños added a nice spicy kick!! Fantastic!! 1 side sauce is plenty for 2. FYI'n Don't pay extra for another! Mother said her half was Great!! She rally enjoyed it!! It came with bread that s fresh & tasty to go with another meal. Plus, 1/2 for each and it was delicious!! Great sauce too!! Great service & Great baked chicken calzone lunch!! Highly recommended!!

My girlfriend got paid and wanted to treat me to a date night. I told her how I've been wanting a DiCicco's calzone for the longest time so we came for a dine-in experience. She said it is one of the best date nights we've ever had. The ambiance, food, interior design, everything made for such an enchanting atmosphere! Our server Denesse was absolutely amazing. I have been getting calzones since I was a kid but I have never had one with the extra cheese baked on top (which came recommended by our wonderful server). My girlfriend got a mushroom and ravioli pasta and was told she could get their "pink sauce" which was their red sauce and alfredo sauce blended together. We got their house special garlic bread and saved some so we could still eat our entrees when they arrived. 10/10 class and service all the way. My girlfriend says she wants to come once a month now!

Our dinner here this evening was delicious, nostalgic, and fun! We ordered the Original Calzoni Alforno & the Meatballs and Peppers Alforno and they didn't disappoint! It looked amazing and tasted even better! The perfect comfort food. Our server was attentive, accommodating, and very nice. The ambiance is old school and part of DiCicco's charm. This is a great place to run away with your partner to have a dinner for two... and then take home a bomb ass ~ ooey gooey ~ cheesy pizza for the kids.

First off biggest shout out to DENESSE with the most amazing customer service. Ordered a Scarface as most of us do and split it. However one wanted regular and one wanted alforno, delicious by the way, and she made it happen with no additional cost. Perfect low lighting and ambiance is perfect for a date. Will come back and visit all because of DENESSE and her exceptional service.

Dinned in on Wednesday evening and it wasn't busy at all. The hostess sat us down and gave us our bread right away. The bread was good but not warm. It took a while for our waitress to come out. On our receipt it says her name is Denesse. We sat for about 8 minutes with no plates, silverware or drinks. She asked if I was ready to order so I was unsure if we were ordering drinks or food or both? She seemed irritable and I could hear her in the back being confrontational with another female worker. Although Denesse was horrible today, I hope it was just an off day because the food was really good. We never got asked if we wanted drink refills and we had to stand up to get her attention so we could pay and leave. She was not attentive at all. We asked her for a knife and she said they were all dirty (There wasn't more than 15 customers in the restaurant). Now let's get to the highlight of this visit--the food. I ordered an original calzoni and it was delicious. I loved that it had sauce and cheese smothered on top. My son ordered the same but his had sauce on the side. He really liked his too. My wife ordered the sausage and peppers alforno. She thought "it was really good!" Highly doubt I will be back. I hope the manager reads this and does something about it, customers deserve better.

New review for 12/16/22Large extra cheese, mushroom & garlic pizza. But what I got was a BURNT, NASTY, hard as a brick inedible pizza! The chef should have never boxed up such a scorched, burnt pathetic pizza! This is the first time I received any inedible food product from this Diciccos! I ordered thru DoorDash, got a refund & went back to Diciccos to show them this stink, stank pizza! When I walked in all I could smell throughout the restaurant was burntness! They must be burning everyone's food today! Need a new chef & someone who knows how to work the oven! I expected much more from this Diciccos! Highly disappointed!

Best DiCicco's in town, food is always fire! The server Denise was truly a delight, no complaints, this is the only DiCicco's to go to!

Denesse was such an amazing server. She was so attentive, filled our waters without us having to ask, talked with us, and was overall so polite and helpful. The food was delicious and she brought us anything and everything we asked for SO QUICKLY, and with the loveliest smile on her face. The restaurant was also super quiet and inviting. We will definitely be coming back to see her and the rest of the DiCicco's staff here at their Clinton location.

Me and my family went in on No notice and request a table for 12. Denesse sat us right away and was amazing from the start. She Made us feel like we were at home. She was very attentive, made sure our drinks were full and got all our orders right. Excellent customer service. And of course the food was good as always. We will definitely be back soon!
