Food was fresh, flavorful and delicious. I find it very expensive so may only come once in a while. I went to the market next-door and purchased a few items. The lady behind the counter was very pleasant. Would have given 5 star but didn't due to pricing. Definitely a 4.5 stars for sure.

This market has so much stuff. They have a huge inventory or international food as well. They have a wonderful selection of produce from local Frenso farmers.

Me and my girlfriend have always wanted to check out this store, so we decided to drop in after grabbing a bite next door at Boba Cafe, and I'm glad we did. The store is very clean, and you can tell the owner is very passionate about her store. We bought some fresh fruits and veggies, and the owner even threw in a couple extra.We'll definitely be back again.

We purchased this Salami yesterday 07/26/2023 and we did not realize that it was bad until we got home and were getting ready to cut it up and by that time she was already closed. Today is 07/27/2023 and early in the morning we went back to the market with the salami and receipt to return the expired Salami and the owner didn't want to return it and made a big scene. We told the owner that we can't eat an expire salami that what did she expect us to do with an expire salami. Then she returned us our money and told us that we couldn't go back to her store all because we went back to get a refund for something expired that she sold to us!!! DO NOT shop here she changes the expiration date on all of the food in her shop she places a new expiration date on top of the old one. Think I'm lying go and check it out!!!

This place is not only locally owned and operated, carrying fresh produce from nearby farmers alongside imported Armenian, Ukrainian, and Mediterranean goods, but the owner's super sweet, and the food is Fresno's best-kept secret. I may have actually cried of happiness the first time I ordered their chicken kabob plate, because I'd moved here from NYC and missed the street food so much, finding nothing of comparable quality until I discovered this spot. It is amazing both in deliciousness and value! Unbeatable for the price and freshness. My favorite! And they also have their own hummus and baked goods (hello, sweet baklava) if that's your kind of thing.Note: They prefer if you call ahead to order takeout.

In much the same way, if you traveled across the country and tried a sandwich or casserole some speciality, you'd find a WIDE variation is everything from composition, quality, textures, ingredients, etc. Likewise on a version of Chicken Swarma which has a million variations... and some can be much better than others...Once again, some off the beaten path of habit risk taking brought me into this market this morning. And boy, did it pay off! I was hungry and my head was bouncing between some standard offerings that I like, Westwood, New City, Lin's, Whole Foods, etc.. Always a bit jaded, I wanted to try this place and took a double take as I drove by. I hadn't been in there before! Should I? Could I? Yes, I would and I could!The market/bakery/deli is packed with all sorts of things that you'd never find elsewhere...unique offerings. Imagine my surprise to feel a fresh baked, still hot, meat packed pastry... Yes, mama!I was simply hungry and wanted to try a couple things so I ordered the Chicken Swarma sandwich. Now, don't EVEN look at the picture on the wall representing it because that's it's scrawny cousin served at lesser establishments. In few ways does it represent what you're going to receive here! The one coming out here is HUGE, enough for two people and let me run you though my quality of elements checklist. This version hit ALL the right buttons!1) Packed with flavored meat that didn't taste flash marinated. Deeply rich, warm and still tender...2) Ample variations in veggies, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, lettuce, etc. Textures, textures and fresh textures!3) Generously assembled with the best garlic sauce I've ever had. UNLIKE some places passing it off, I could for the first time in my life actually taste garlic! And it's good! Some of you may have heard about my love of sauces! They are EVERYTHING!4) Fresh bread and a heavy sandwich...And this is a unique place with customer service you're likely NOT used to. The food does not come out fast so call it in or shop while you're waitng... in the meantime, the delightful owner, Yeran, will take care of you. Apparently, she has been here for almost 30 years. What a friendly and dedicated woman! She kindly offered me a couple samples and sent me home with some special cucumbers on the house. She tired to refuse my tip a few times but I insisted. You should too!What a wonderful meal I had today at this place. In way of encouragement to you, Yeran, and your fantastic food, it didn't go unnoticed and was appreciated. Finally, garlic sauce that REALLY tastes like garlic and a packed, huge, delicious Chicken Swarma. Jackpot!With the help of an imaginary crane, in my mind, I jumped up and clicked my heels!You folks are doing an awesome job so keep up the good work. Blessings!-G

Very Great store! They have so much tasty stuff! Safe and clean! I bought some lavash artisan bread wraps and ordered the chicken shawarma bowl with half rice and half salad. The lady was really nice at checkout. I made a comment about how good the bread looked and she brought me samples! Yes! Omg! Really delicious! A lot of customers were getting their bread! That's when you know it's good! ;) After trying samples, all I have to say is OMG! Deliciousness! Seriously! She also brought me their Lahmajun beef lah to sample too! It was really fantastic! A lot of flavor! ;)~Lunch time! The chicken shawarma bowl was Really amazing! It tasted as great as it smelled! Lol! Fresh tomato and so much flavor! Thankful they let me do half rice half salad to get to try it all! The salad side was fresh, tasty and full of flavor! The rice side was really delicious too! Chicken cooked perfectly! Great garlic sauce too! Wow! Impressed! Great service and absolutely delicious food and excellent store! Highly recommended! They deserve every star! Love helping and recommending to help businesses! =)This is a must try everyone!

Had high hopes, but must say that options are limited here. Did get some good black olives.
