This is a brand new store. They have many things in there. Kind of like the dollar tree only this one have many different prices. But you can find many things. They have beautiful things for Christmas and for the kitchen. Also some personal toiletries and some food too. The store is very clean and it has great lighting. It is pretty big the only thing is that it gets crowded and the aisles are very narrow. We had to go around people to get to see everything we wanted to see. I would love to go back, maybe a different hours and maybe in the weekday so itCan be less people and I can seeMore things freely.

Daiso Visalia has finally opened 10/26/24 after a week delay to the original opening date!! There were plenty of employees willing to help and answer questions today for their Opening Day! I came earlier this morning and the line was about 300 feet long from the front door so I came tonight at 6:00 pm and walked right in but plenty of customers inside to maneuver around. They had a giveaway bag to the first 100 customers so that added to the draw of people!! There is an assortment of everything you didn't think you needed from stationary, household goods, kitchen ware, plenty of kitchen tools I didn't know they made, tools, gloves, car accessories, toys, food items, snacks, spices, ramen, candies, rice crackers, even Okonomiyaki kit (Japanese pancake) which I bought so I can make it since I havn't found a restaurant here locally that has it on their menu! The pricing is a little confusing but finally figured it out since there are plenty of signs explaining how the conversion works. The value on everything is reasonable and there is something for everyone even though you didn't know you needed it or came in looking for it! Most items are Made in Japan but I was disappointed in some items are Made in China and some of the food items are from Thailand so disappointed that everything isn't from Japan so definitely look for point of origin!! Enjoy and have fun browsing!!

My friend and I spent over 2 hours browsing each aisle then going back to make sure we didn't miss anything. Since I'm Japanese there were lots of items that took me down memory lane. Purchased lots of items for stocking stuffers for Christmas. Prices are lower than candy/snack items you would find at Central Fish or R-N Market. Daiso has everything imaginable you can think of. From items for potting plants, different plastic container sizes, craft paper, beads to make necklaces and bracelets, Christmas decorations, cooking utensils and packaged oriental food galore. Can't wait for Fresno and Clovis to get their own Daiso!

Selection: Lots of neat items in this store but most of the stuff is cheap in quality. Beware the food/snacks though, almost all of them have warnings about exposing you to lead and other cancer-causing chemicals. Prices: Reasonable for the quality of the items.Service: Most of the staff are friendly but I felt like I was being profiled as a thief during check out. The employee stood super close right next to me while I scanned all of my own items, and then took each item from me after it was scanned and put it into my bag. What's the point of a self-checkout if I'm going to have items bagged for me and an employee standing so close that they should scan the things themselves?? Imported: Everything is imported directly from Japan, and you'll see the pay conversion charts throughout the store (yen to American dollar amount). I think the conversions are wrong, though, and the prices don't reflect properly from American dollar to yen (American prices are marked up).
