Looks interesting
The front entrance. In the old Big Lots
A table full of junk
Harassed by these 2 workers especially the girl!
Crazy busy on a Friday AM
Blocked off tables
Not opened Thursdays
$9 for any item on a Friday
View from entrance
Lots of people.
Hmmm...this can't be good, but let's take a look.
More miscellaneous junk
A bicycle seat for $9? Can't open the box...

I mean, I guess I'm not use to this type of shopping. Clutter just clutter from the bins to the people. Bumping into people rifling through bins as product are literally being dumped into empty bins made for a less than desirable shopping experience for me. I just couldn't do it. Good luck if ur into this.

For Reference: I went on a Friday around 3/4pm. It's the first day open after restocking & everything is $12 before Tax.FYI the Pros out way the Cons, I just had a mini rant about a particular Con....Pros: * Large selections of random items.* Most items in good condition, still new and I'd say about 90% of items still in the box. (If no box then look around the same bin and you'll likely find it.)* Relatively cheap compared to what you might pay on Amazon or the like* Can be pretty fun digging up "treasures" among all the random things and getting something that you know you saw on Amazon for way more. (I found a refillable brass sketching pencil made by the German company "Kaweco" that has been in my Amazon Wish list forever, retail $30 @ Amazon, even more elsewhere, and a FixMeStick, retail $80 @ Amazon. And I paid $12 here. $13 after Tax) Cons:* Can be overwhelming at first, I was stuck on the first bin for a while before realizing I needed a more "glaze over" strategy if I was going to see everything.* A good majority of the items are in generic brown cardboard boxes and you can't tell what's inside unless you open it up and take it out at least partially to look.* This is probably the MOST irritating thing here: They would CONSTANTLY repeat a service message over the PA "not to open any boxes" and that "if we needed to see what was inside the boxes then to bring it up and they would check for you or go to the front table to open the box" Repeated once in English and once in Spanish. And then to top that off they add that "if they have to tell you more than 3 times you will be asked to leave." ~ okay, I get it. Some people tear sh*t open without regard to either (a) the employees who have to repackage and clean it all up or (b) the next customer that comes along who really did want it but maybe not so much now that it's been half destroyed. ~But as someone who generally puts items back the way they were found, this perpetual announcement was just annoying and somewhat anxiety inducing as I now felt the need to look over my shoulder every time I wanted to know the contents of each brown unlabeled box, let's be real I'm not going to ask someone or go across the store EVERY time just to find out it contained some picture hooks or pacifier clips, that's dumb and there's soooooo many unlabeled brown boxes, if I wanted that kind of workout I'd buy a treadmill (maybe for $12 from here on a Friday, jk idk) ~ I couldn't help but to mentally turn into Brad Pitt from the movie Se7en every time I checked an unlabeled box.... "WHATS IN THE BOX?!?!".......and now hopefully that will be stuck with you too...

Very stupid system. If you go on $9 day, every item is $9. Including a candy bar. Can't say it's a good deal unless shopping for more expensive items, only. Available items are very random from food, makeup, cleaning, furniture, electronics, etc. At least half of stuff are in sealed boxes which you can't open yourself under penalty of getting kicked out. Very labor intensive and icky (from leaking products) shopping. Check it out if curious but have realistic expectations.

This is basically Amazons yard sale. They get the pallets and empty the boxes into these huge bins. You can find some pretty cool stuff! They sell everything in the bins for a different price every day. They also have furniture and electronics. I got my kids some lawn chairs for $9 each which I thought was a great deal. 3 stars because everything is scattered and a lot of boxes are ripped open with the contents spilled out or missing pieces. That's the catch and why I say it's like a yard sale. People actually put their nice stuff out at a yard sale though. I don't know how much effort it would take for them to at least try and make things look nice and tidy but i feel like they should try.

Hello you said that everything in the bin was $9. This is the SECOND time my partner and I were denied the Bin price for something that was in the bins. Your staff often says "big or smail" everything is that days bin price. The issue is how it's was handled by the manager. The cashier called their manager over and asked if what we pulled from the bins was in fact the bin price. The manager came over and we challenged him on the price and says yesterday he had no issues. He was firm, which obviously we weren't happy. But we moved on its when he threw the purchase item back into the bin without parting the items out and when we voiced our frustrations he ignored us it's not the item, we can deal with out it's about the customer experience which is what I would like you all to consider. My partner are frequent shoppers of these store concepts we really enjoy "That's Cheap" in Sacramento. This is a picture of the item that was thrown back into the $9 bins after being denied to buy I would like to offer an opportunity for the business to take this as a learning opportunity. I think consistency is really important to the success of any business.
