Dab Tacos

After a few drinks next door at The Modernist, we decided to grab some food from Dab Tacos to go. They've got a pretty extensive menu featuring all the traditional Mexican fare you'd expect, plus some solid-looking options for a late-night bite.We went with the premium loaded fries with chicken, and they did not skimp on the portion size. Easily shared between three people, but definitely on the heavier side--which is exactly what you sign up for when ordering loaded fries. No complaints there. Food was decent. They also have some alcoholic drinks available if you're looking to keep the party going. Plenty of seating available, and it wasn't too busy when we stopped by. Staff was friendly and got our order out pretty quickly.Overall, a great spot to grab some food if you're in the area.

To start off, the location is excellent! Tucked in between a couple cocktail bars and beer spots, Dab Tacos is a convenient go-to for anyone after a night out. Interior is usually crowded but there's seating against the wall. You can also eat outside (sign says 21+ only for the little table/patio thing). They were almost out of everything when we got there (around 9:30pm on a Thursday) so we settled for some quesadillas. They also did not have red sauce!!! Asada Quesadilla (2/5): I don't really know how to describe it, but the asada wasn't my favorite. Chicken Quesadilla (4/5): Pretty solid! Portion size is two large pieces, which left me satisfied. Despite there only being two cooks, the food came out relatively quickly! Overall, great spot for a quick bite; I might be back to try something else.

Dab tacos is not to be missed if your in the downtown Fresno Area. Really good Mexican food being served here. Nice resteraunt with seating indoor and outdoor. Food here was really good and I was impressed! I ordered an Al plastor taco and a hot dog and they both were really good and full of flavor! I would have to rate my food a 8.5 out of 10. My wife had the chicken torta and she loved it! She would rate it a 9.5 out of 10. My wife would like to note that this torta had crispy cheese and fresh soft bread. I was staying at the double tree hotel down the street and saw that dab tacos was opened at 7:30pm on a Thursday night. A lot of sport close early down here so I was relieved to have found this place. Located in downtown Fresno, the area can be a bit sketchy at times but where they are located it's a cute and light up on this street.

Excellent service, good vibes, and great food! It was my first time trying Dab tacos, and for whatever reason I got burger instead of tacos lol. The smash burger I wouldn't call a smash burger the patties are pretty thick butttt they have a lot of flavor! The meat is great quality I added a fried egg on mine which didn't disappoint and the bun is nicely toasted. The fries are an average shoestring but still paired well with the burger. I'm excited to go back and try out the tacos and loaded fries! The miche looks delicious too so that's on the top of my list.

This taco shop is in a great location in between some very popular bars. We stopped in for a quick bite. The food was pretty good, but nothing special for tacos. My husband got the Al pastor taco plate, but he said the Al pastor was a little dry. I had two Birria tacos with consommé, which were good, but a little fatty and not as flavorful as I expect from birria. The restaurant was plain with tables for food, a walk up counter, and loud music playing, so definitely a bar type vibe. They served beer and also had a cocktail menu available. The speed of the food prep was a bit slow for the fact we were the only people waiting for food. The man behind the counter was very kind and checked in on us and how we were doing, so good service for a walk up. Overall a decent place to grab a bite while bar hopping.

Awesome food and service. On Tuesday they have 2 dollar tacos. They're on the smaller tortillas but they're still yummy. The asada is perfectly seasoned and that green salsa is fire. Their asada fries are yummy too. They are very filling and can definitely be shared.

Dab Tacos are hip, creative, and have plenty of swag. The tacos are pretty yummy as well. They are huge, different, and most importantly, delicious.Protein choices are Asada (beef steak), Pastor (marinated pork), Chicken, Pork Belly, Shrimp, and Lobster ($3.50 upcharge). My favorites are the crispy, plump shrimp, lobster, and the juicy, well-seasoned chicken.I enjoyed the queso tacos, which are made with toasted corn tortillas, lined with grilled cheese, packed with your protein choice, cucumber-cabbage salad mix, and queso fresco.The unique recipes and business concepts are the work of its owner Nik. His lovely sister Loren manages the downtown restaurant where she serves and bartends. On occasion, she will help out at the food truck as well.Aaron runs the food truck, usually parked at the NE corner of Shaw Avenue and First Avenue at the gas station, from 2 PM to 10 PM Tuesdays to Saturdays.The restaurant is located in downtown Fresno next to the Tioga-Sequoia Beer Garden. It is a great spot for tacos, beers, and a cocktail to wind down the evening. The restaurant has one of the best Taco Tuesday deals: unlimited mini tacos for $1 each.They do a great job in marketing, particularly if you follow them on social media. So follow them on Instagram to learn about their current deals, special promotions, and summer events.

Dab tacos is perfect if you plan on drinking downtown. You have a few bars nearby that allow you to bring in food! I recommend the modernist. Usually they have a wait to be seated yo it's perfect for you to join the waiting list Nextdoor then go order your tacos.

I have never left here unsatisfied. When they did their food truck, I brought my dad over and we had the most delicious overloaded fries. They put their shop up and we come all the time with our kiddo for some dinner and chill time. Everything is so tasty, loaded, fresh, cooked perfect, every time. Love this place.

One of my favorite spots. the owner is really down to earth, and the customer service is awesome...MUST TRY the Dab dog w/ asada and lobster. I love the remote area downtown, it's the perfect vibe.-BSTAR
