D & L Roses-Cedar & Shaw

Decided to pick up some flowers for my mom as it was a special day in her history and I wanted to make sure to honor it! This was the closest place to my work and I wanted to go quickly in and out. I had never been so I figured it was a good time to try it out. It's very small and not a huge selection, but there were some definite nice choices available. They had some rose bouquets, spring bouquets and then some bouquets in vases. I noticed around the small shop there wasn't a whole lot of anything else-I kind of expected some cards/balloons. There was a rack of the flower message cards! Erika was working and she was super friendly! Very kind and helped me select these roses. She let me know a bit about being at that location and that she is the one who gets to create the bouquets there. So she said there are things that she'll have that the main location won't and of course Vice versa. We chatted about the type of holidays that get a rush for Her and so forth. The flowers I selected were a lavender dozen roses. They have their guard petals on in the picture and she said they would bloom nicely when you take those off. She discounted the flowers for me since they were already "older", without even me asking, which I appreciated as the professional thing to do. Still with the discount the flowers were a pretty penny but I knew I was going to be spending some money and I was okay with it. If you are going think $40-$80 range. You also may be able to ask her what she has for your budget and I'm sure she'd help you out!! Great experience will be returning.

Honestly, I don't get why this place gets bad reviews. For a small quantity flower shop, it's amazing. If you want flowers on the go and for a reasonable price! The decoration is so pretty, even the cashier is super nice :) I RECOMMEND!!!

There are so many places to order from in Fresno. Avoid at all cost! I ordered flowers for a delivery that didn't get there for 2 more days despite my explicit direction (and their own comment box) to leave the flowers on the porch. What's the point of leaving direction if they don't follow it anyway? When I realized it never got delivered I called and the owner was EXTREMELY rude and told me to screw off basically. I had to dispute with my bank at the end of the day because they failed to deliver the flowers when ordered.

Even though I chose the best selection in flowers they still mixed old flowers with fresh ones, but not only that they misspelled my daughter's name too they sent it for Alexia instead of Alexis. Come on at least check twice your work before being delivered. The name is the Most important part of the arrangement. One start only because they did delivered it on time but sadly I won't be using your service again. One time customer..

This location does not carry roses despite a sign saying "Roses $4.99". They do encourage you to go to another location for roses. I wouldn't waste my time coming to this location.

Walked in to get some flowers last minute, for my cousins graduation. I asked the lady if she sold flowers at the moment, or if I have to order them ahead of time...which is a valid question. She looked up and gave me kind of a dirty look and just laughed. The whole time I was in her store I felt like she was being extremely rude. I should have just left, but I was desperate for some flowers. My bouquet was beautiful but overpriced. And the customer service was the worst I've ever experienced. Will not be going back and I'll never recommend this place to anyone. The lady that helped me was an older lady. Maybe the owner.

We had an arrangement done by D&L in Clovis. Carmen handled it for us and it was so easy! Turned out beautiful! Thank you Carmen!

These roses were a gift from my husband for our anniversary. On Day 2, I noticed the stems starting to bend. I was hoping it wouldn't happen. Alas, The buds never opened and this is day 4 and the stems are all completely bent and the buds never opened. Due to business of the weekend, my husband went to try to get a refund or a replacement bouquet today but was told their policy states they need to be contacted within 24 hours. There was no such notice anywhere in the store. No apology or offer to make right. $100 down the drain on a dozen wilted roses. So disappointed in D&L as their website states they're a family owned business local to the area. Hate to think we have to stick with buying from the larger stores to get a more beautiful, longer- lasting, less expensive bouquet.

I'm so disappointed in the flowers I ordered for my mother in-law! Part of what I loved was the rounded vase and the polka dot ribbon and we didn't get either one.
