Creme de la Cake

Best cakes ever! The price was little high but worth the quality of cake. The taste was one of the best so far I tried. Highly recommended.

Liz is a cake genius. I contacted her to make my mother's 70th birthday, a couple of weeks beforehand, and sent a picture of a Franzia boxed wine label to model it after. I know, a little strange but we've made fun of my mother for years for her boxed wine and cigarette addiction. And she has a great sense of humor, so there ya go. The cake was SO much more than I expected and it made me forget how much money I'd forked over for it. No one at the party could even believe it was a cake. When we brought it out, my mother thought it was an actual box of wine and, couldn't figure out how we'd stuck candles in. We ordered the regular chocolate cake with Nutella frosting and it was by far the best cake I've ever had. I usually do bundt cakes because regular cakes are usually so dry. Liz's was not. It was perfect.I'd recommend this place to anyone and it's TOTALLY worth the price. Thanks again Liz, my mom LOVED it. xo

Very happy with the turnout. Taste is often subjective but my wife and I loved our cake. It looked great and tasted delicious. Filling isn't very sweet, just perfect. The cake, is dense and moist! It could be subjected to different liking but that was exactly what we were looking for. Something that was not filled with grainy sugar and cake that was not dry. They worked with us and our changes as we got closer to the date. Thumbs up for this place!

I'm giving this place 1 star, due to the lack of communication to the public. Their phone number has changed and they have not updated their business cards nor their website. Is this place even open? What happened to Creme de la Cake?

She did a amazing job on our cake it was exactly what I wanted for our wedding day. They did deliver it set it up with the most urgency.

So many people had good experience but I guess we would be the one with bad one I normally do not write bad reviews, the exception is not the fact a simple small cake in the shape was offered at a mere $83, it is the service. I watch a response to a customer's question met with a stare, then turn and walk away. The first and only other time I was in this bakery, I was treated in like, yet thought the employee was having a bad day. By the way, the $50 cake I purchased could have been better that time. Yes it does appear busy, perhaps its the coffee, but I did not see one happy face on the customers or staff. Ill lose weight, no thank you .

My husband and I live in Colorado but were planning our wedding in California since our families are there. Unfortunately, we had to change our wedding date and venue at the very last minute! With only six weeks before the new wedding date, I called and talked to Liz about possibly making our cake for our July 2nd wedding. She said she was available to make our cake and we started talking options and pricing. Liz initially quoted me for a three-tiered cake. When I explained that we were trying to keep the price as low as possible and asked if she had any suggestions, she didn't hesitate to tell me that we could opt for a small two-tiered cake that we could cut into and the then also serve cupcakes. (Two other bakeries refused to give me quotes on more cost effective options unless I knew exactly what I wanted.)My husband and I chose to go with the two-tierd cake and cupcakes. Not only did this save us a significant amount, but we also were able to choose more flavors of cake this way! We chose vanilla cake with buttercream, chocolate cake with chocolate chips, red velvet cake with a cream cheese icing filing, and vanilla cake with lemon curd filling. They were all absolutely amazing!!! Liz had everything dropped off and set up beautifully before our ceremony got started. The cupcakes were gorgeous and the decoration on our small cake was fabulous!!! Exactly what we wanted!!! I'd hire her again and recommend her to all of our friends and family.

Aside from the aesthetic wizardry Creme de la Cake is known for, it also happens to be some of the most unique and best tasting cake I've ever had. You've got to try the lemon drop cupcakes! Worth every penny!

This is absolutely the worse service I ever got in many years. Lis was extremely unprofessional and rude. She probably think she's the only bakery in town. But thank you for nothing. And good luck with your sower cakes.

Personally this is hands down the best experience I have ever had ordering desserts for a party. I spoke with Liz who is very professional and was also accommodating to me because she stayed open to take my order and explain the whole process very throughly and she even delivered the cakes. I ordered a cake, cupcakes and cake pops and they were the most tastiest moistest deserts we have ever had. I received many compliments and inquiries as to where I ordered them from. All the accolades go to Liz and her talent for making cakes. If you have not ordered cakes from her you should. Highly recommended. Thanks again Liz you are an awesome person.
