In North Fresno across from the library is Creative Nails. First time ever in this nail salon. Before returning to work I was in need of a great gel manicure. At a reasonable price they saw me right away in the morning with no appointment. I picked out my nail color and they got to work. One of my nails was chipped and the nail technician fixed it at no extra cost. Welcoming as soon as you enter the door and clean for a nail salon. Parking is available out front of the salon. I highly recommend you walk or drive whatever your preference to check out Creative Nails located on Champlain Dr. for excellent service they provide to you.

I visited this salon on a Saturday in October and was promptly seated. Despite wanting stiletto nails for Halloween, the initial nail technician was unfamiliar with the style, leading to a handover to two others. While they were friendly, their use of Vietnamese in front of customers felt unprofessional. The entire process lasted two hours, and there was persistent upselling of gel color for an extra $10, which I declined. Although the nails turned out okay, the acrylic was thick, and low-quality materials damaged my nails significantly. The recovery has been prolonged, making me question if the temporary aesthetic improvement is truly worth it.

I went in today and there was no wait for a pedicure. I asked to have my gel polish removed from my toes, extra callus remover, and then paint with regular polish. The guy doing my pedicure must have been new because he seemed like he didn't know what he was doing. My toes are jagged, callus remover was a joke, and the polish on my uneven toes is sloppy. Waste of $50

I recently moved and found my new nail salon! Love love love! Kathy is the best and so nice! Highly recommend to all my friends! Everyone is good and never disappointed! Salon is clean and follows all Covid required guidelines. Ben does the best dip nails!

New technicians and they have terrible service. Waited 30 minutes after my appointment time and then he rushed through my set. Didn't file my nails and didn't fix any mistakes.

Thank you for the service, I can appreciate someone who put an effort from her business to grow.

My favorite mani pedi place in fresno. Cathy is fantastic with acrylic nails, gel polish and pedicures. Would give this place 10 stars if I could.

I called and specifically asked how much it is for a gel polish change (to change my current gel polish color to another color) and they quoted me $23 and I said cool I will be there soon! As I sat down they proceeded to soak my nails for the color removal and I said hey I just want to make sure your doing the basic gel polish change, I do not want any type of manicure just the service I was quoted for and they nodded yes and proceeded to have what seemed like a heated conversation in their language. At the end of my service I went to pay and they said $30 and I said no I was quoted $23 and they said no we charge to take your old gel polish off and I said no I asked you the price for a gel polish change and you said $23 we went back and forth and I ended up paying the $30. I will not be coming back here very unprofessional.

Had my last pedicure at this establishment today. The ladies that work there do a really great job. I have not had one bad pedicure there with the exception of one time my polish chipped earlier than I would have liked. I have been going here for a little over a year and I have ignored the same issues because the quality was consistent and the price was great. Within the past year they have raised their prices twice. I understand, everything is more expensive and to be honest, I was willing to pay. However, their time management is extremely poor. I have never been a walk in and always have an appointment but that has not guaranteed me a timely service. I have spent as long as 2.5 hours getting a pedicure. Today I waited 35 minutes past my appointment time and when a woman walked out frustrated at the two hours it took to get her pedicure, I got up to leave. The owner then began to insist I stay while trying to upsell me on a pedicure (I was only there for a polish change). I told him I had an appointment and I did not have time to wait. He told me they were busy and I asked what the point of an appointment is? Finally after some commotion he sat me in a chair and said someone would be right over. I told him I was not waiting much longer and this was ridiculous. I sat down as the nice lady next to me looked over and applauded my direction and smiled. It's clearly a known issue that they are abysmal when it comes to keeping a schedule. Finally a woman who I have had many times comes over and starts my toes. Meanwhile the owner is sitting at the front counter falling asleep to YouTube videos on his laptop. I watched as he nodded in and out of consciousness while these women busted their behinds. When my toes were done he walked over and said "thank you they look nice right?!" I told him "maybe you should get to work helping out instead of sleeping up front" that got enough laughter to make him visibly uncomfortable. He then told me how busy they all were and I said "you're so busy you're falling asleep". Then in a passive aggressive way he walks to another patron and says "we are so busy and people are all over the place, you know like a doctor's office when things gets behind". I quickly interrupted and asked that same patron if she had ever caught her doctor sleeping at the front desk, she of course said no and laughed. I then asked if her doctor was as bad at keeping a schedule as this place and she said no again. Moral of the story, the work is good, the ladies are sweet and the location is great. The prices are not as much of a value and I cannot stomach giving another dime to the jerk of an owner who would treats loyal customers this way. With one less client they should be a little less busy and therefore he will have even more time to nap up front.Sleep well Mr. Creative Nails Owner.
