Country Waffles

Country Waffles is definitely not my first choice for breakfast, but I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't as bad as I had remembered. I ordered the classic breakfast wrap without sausage sub hash browns for fruit. Add salsa. Hash browns could have been crispier. The wrap - filled with egg, potato, bacon, ham, and cheese - was decent. Not the best, not the worst. Service was efficient and almost all the tables were filled by the time we left. I remembered country waffles as always being pink instead so the remodel of grey tones was a nice touch. Plenty of parking.

A few years ago we previously frequented this Country Waffles; but today, & I am sorry for this review, we went for a late breakfast around 11:00 am, restaurant was not busy. We like eating outdoors & they used to have a nice Patio for outdoor dining. This time we went it was filthy, every table was Extremely Dirty, the whole Patio (which leads to entrance) was FILTHY, tables, chairs, rails, floors etc, I walked in & "3" workers were laughing & taking it easy by cash register. We used to like the food there, so even though the outside was FILTHY, we had a table cleaned (mediocrely) we asked if they could turn on the Nice Ceiling Fans & we were told that they were Broken? We ordered & Food was Horrible, pancake was cold, the hash browns & potatoes tasted HORRIBLE, like Oil (probably Old & Dirty) for frying is NEVER Changed; biscuit (which used to be my Favorite there) was Cold & HARD, & tasted Rancid (old flour) our server was not very attentive, until it was almost Tip Time. Also a mother & her son in 20's also wanted to eat outdoors, but the mom kept telling her son, it's FILTHY & DISGUSTING Here Outside!Sadly we will never go there again, because it used to be So Good. I didn't ask for a Manager, because after such a Horrible Experience, we just wanted to get out of there.

Food was quick and absolutely delicious. Service was friendly and very considerate. We had a great experience and will definitely be back!

Husband and I went for an early morning breakfast. The food was awesome. The service was great. Everyone that worked there was very nice and welcoming. We would definitely be going back.

Love the food. Friendly service. Clean establishment. Perfect for that quick, easy meal

3/02/24Getting breakfast for tomorrow! Breakfast wrap, egg whites & ham with jalapeños added and the peanut butter & banana waffle ordered. The worker said it would be ready in 15-20 minutes. I went in to get it shortly later! Greeted upon entering and the worker was kind. Told her and the order was ready. I asked for SF syrup and offered ketchup and hot sauce. Yes please. Paid for the order and wished a good day! Happy Sunday everyone! Order split! . My half of the breakfast wrap was Great! Fresh & tasty! Even better with the Tapatio included to spice it up! Yummy!=)~Half of the PB & banana waffle was Great! Really Delicious with the creamy peanut butter, tasty banana, whipped cream & SF maple syrup! Fantastic! I'm sure mother will feel the same when she has hers! Good service & Great breakfast! Highly recommended!

Absolutely the best waffle spot in town!! Great food and great service. I love the atmosphere and most of all their country potatoes, waffles and crepes. Its a must try!!

You can tell they just did upgrades inside (I.e. paint, decor) but I am not sure it's been cleaned since . Don't get me wrong it wasn't like crazy bad but when we had to wait 15-20 minutes for a server you start to notice little things. Overall I said was ok. Service was the same , slow in the beginning and there was only three other tables and they all had their food already when we got seated. Not sure why it took so long for someone to come over. After ordering it took less than 10 minutes for our food. I got the 2 eggs breakfast $9.99, with hash brown and one biscuit which I asked for gravy on top. Everything was , gravy was ok, it felt more like an instant gravy though. The hubby got all American platter with hickory bacon $14.95 , he chose the country potato and half a waffle. Hickory bacon was more regular old bacon than hickory.

Very fast service. Very friendly. Received a call during breakfast and had to leave immediately. Check was already at the table and they got us all set up and ready to leave quickly.Omelette and scramble were above average. Pancakes were very good. Biscuits and gravy were very good. Tons of food!

Went in this morning to have breakfast. Omg!!!Best biscuits and gravy I've ever had!!! Love the decor and the service was amazing!!! Will definitely be back!!!
