It appears to be closed ( out of business). Each time we've attempted to eat there it was closed tighter than a drum!

Ham breakfast sandwich, looks yummy! Tried for the first time. You can choose thin deli ham or thicker ham steak. I went with the thin sliced ham, American cheese, and English muffin. Totally recommend! Tasty, hot, and fresh.

If I could give negative stars I would ! Service was terrible! Waited over 30 minutes and never got our food yet people behind us where. I don't know the reason for that but on top of that while waiting we started to see a roach on the wall . We brought it to the waitress and she said she understood if we left and that the problem was from new neighbors but that the food was ready . We waited another 10 minutes no food but we did see another roach at that time we got up and left .. I will never go back and if you decide to go there watch out for roaches . As far as the service maybe I was the wrong color too .

Was excited to try something new only to be disappointed. Sat there for 30-40 min to NOT get our food. We then asked and was told it was coming out sat down for 15 more minutes and nothing. We then noticed A CRAWLER on the wall. Took way to long for bacon and eggs. Definitely won't be going back ever again. Mind you i did tell the lady and she blamed the neighbors for the roaches.

Traveling back home to LA from the sequoias and found this hidden totally 100% locals breakfast spot. Wow is all I can say!! Great prices, great portions and best of all great food! The service was quick and polite. It has an outdated appearance but please do not let that scare you off, this place was amazing. I was seconding guessing my choice big time but I was blown away and as soon as I took my first bite I was SOLD!! Great job guys, if I'm ever back in the area I will definitely come back!!! A must go to if ever in Porterville.

Had a horrible experience here ... got the country potatoes with breakfast and asked that they be cooked crispy ..... they brought them and they were not crispy , just mushy and had soMuch oil and butter that they were cooked in , they madeMe sick .... was terrible ... how can you messUp breakfast potatoes ....

Country friendly staff. Coffee on the table immediately-- GREAT Tasting coffee too. Ordered the chicken fried steak/gravy-, country potatoes and eggs sunny side up. I'm so glad I did. Mouth watering and the portions were enormous - had to get a box to-go. I recommend this establishment without hesitation. Country Cafe in the AM and The Cellar Steakhouse in the PM. Can't wait to take the Wife out for dinner !!!

The food is okay, a little greasy and you only sometimes get the eggs the way you order. For example, if you over eggs over medium they will be served over hard. The service could be faster and the wait staff tends to have conversations with regulars instead of doing their job by checking on all tables and getting the orders out promptly. I think the place could use a little more TLC to make sure everything is clean.

While visiting my home town I asked my husband if we could eat at my favorite restaurant in town. He wanted to bbq with my parents but for our last night in town but I had really wanted to go eat at my favorite place in town.. Last time we were here they were in the middle of a remodel.. New owners is what I hear.. Hopefully brought back those old Cellar Favorites.. However This Was A Complete Letdown! I had the unfortunate displeasure of dining at this establishment tonight, and it was nothing short of a disaster. The poor service started the moment we walked through the door, with servers seemingly more interested in anything other than attending to their guests. We were left waiting far longer than acceptable to be seated.To make matters worse, the undercooked steaks were a major letdown. I ordered mine medium rare, but what arrived was closer to raw. It's evident the cook lacks even the most basic understanding of proper preparation. The steaks were not only undercooked but also devoid of any discernible flavor.Additionally, it was disheartening to hear the owners openly speak ill of their employees. This level of unprofessionalism is inexcusable and reflects poorly on the entire establishment. It's clear that this once-beloved local spot has fallen far from grace.My dismay continued when I visited the restroom. The state of the bathrooms was downright appalling. It's incomprehensible that such a basic aspect of hygiene could be so neglected.To add insult to injury, the dishes served were clearly not properly cleaned. It's alarming to think of the potential health risks associated with such negligence. The sight of dirty dishes only further cemented my decision to never set foot in this establishment again.This experience was a stark reminder of how a once-beloved local favorite can devolve into a complete disappointment. Save yourself the trouble and choose a dining spot that values basic cleanliness and customer safety. This place is one to avoid at all costsSad to see such a great memory being ruined by poor Management..Sincerely A Very Disappointed Family..
