It's Taco Tuesday! Stopping by Costa to enjoy some delicious Chicken and Asada Tacos, 3 each with everything on them to be specific. They don't miss. Let me tell you these tacos are bomb and they are only a $1 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Double the tortilla with everything on them. Just delicious. What's crazy is as soon as I sat down, the friendly waitress greeted me immediately with chips, salsa, and their classic soup. The music inside here mixed with the locals talking it up just adds a nice feel to my experience. Vibes are always on point here. Don't worry about parking either, there's adequate amount of space.Honestly, this is my go-to spot here in Atwater. Highly recommend

From the moment you walk in, the new owners and staff was so welcoming! Great customer service from the young ladies and was very yummy!Chops n Salsa and rhubarb Bacon Wrqpped Prawns are my faves!!

I lived this place when it first opened and they had some different owners and the food quality changed. I was so happy to hear they have the original owners and the food is tasting great. We love Botana Pirata sooo good. They are very attentive and nice here. Definitely recommend.

The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly:Ok, so we've been coming here for years. We haven't been here in a few months, so we were excited. We traveled from another neighboring just to come here. As soon as we walked in, you could tell things had changed. Everything looked the same, but the normal 'hello, welcome' from friendly faces were replaced with a look and a disappearing act. The food that I craved before was now dry and had cardboard flavors. I asked immediately if it was a different chef. The new waitress said,'uh huh' and waddled away. No service after that, waited about 30 min after finishing for the check. Since it was moderately busy, we were patient. The table next to us had been there longer and looked at us and said that's enough. He called the waitress over (who was just standing behind the bar). No kidding! She looked right at him and held her finger up. So he walked out without paying. She obviously didn't care! She just stood there! Didn't stop them, didn't call a manager... nothing. Hubs went to the counter and paid our ticket. We overheard the people next to the bar.. it was the new owner talking about how he's making more changes to food and prices. Nope... RIP Costas! We MISS the former owners who cared about their customers and flavors!

This is one of my favorite most authentic restaurant in Atwater they have a avirert y of few items which makes them very unique and delicious all of their food is very well seasoned and with great quality and amount of food you get during Covid we came here at least 4 times. Month till this day is one of the most favorite place you won't regret it n

Oh boy.... where do I start ..... so first off let me say that the first time we came here was about 5 months ago or so and the service and food was excellent., fast forward to tonight ...my husband suggested we go here again to eat for dinner when he got off work , so I said sure sounds good. We get there at 6pm starving , seat ourselves and notice that quite a few people hadn't even had food yet... so we wait at our table a good 10 mins before someone came and gave us chips and salsa . Then waited another 10 mins ish to even order drinks . Finally she comes to take our order ( wich the menu has completely changed and some of the food they couldnt make she said )and let me say only one person is waiting on tables .. so I say now it's about 620 pm. Fast forward to 720 pm and yep still no food, no one came by to check on us , no offer of refill on drinks or even water or even to apologize for our food not being out. We were not the only table waiting forrrrevvvver. Finally we said forget it and asked for our amount for our drinks so we can leave . I have NEVER seen such an unorganized restaurant and it seemed no one there had a clue on how to run a restaurant at ALL! WE WILL NOT BE BACK .

The food was really good surprisingly, service was quick and we over all enjoyed our meal. Pretty slow for a Thursday night
