Ordered about five things on DoorDash and they managed to screw up three of the five items. They forgot the soup on the kids sandwich and soup meal, they forgot the fruit medley on scrambler order, they put ice in two chocolate milks that were totally watered down, and on the honey banana pancakes, they not only didn't include honey nor bananas, but no syrup either. Lol. I should have paid attention to the other Yelp reviews about the service. They clearly have no oversight of orders, nor management or quality assurance at the Corner Bakery Cafe.

Arrived at 3:15pm. There were other patrons in the restaurant. Stood at counter for 5 minutes before deciding to call the restaurant and ask if we could be helped. Not sure where workers were and why they did not know when customers entered the restaurant. Besides that, the food was great. Ordered the choose two with baked potato soup and Italian panini with a side Caesar salad. Restaurant was clean, but slightly cold (which is okay). Suggestion: someone should be at the front counter or at least know when customers walk in.

I'm here probably every other week. I say that because it really pains me to give this place a low review. But there is some major issues with the timing of food. I usually come here on my lunch hour, and I usually end up spending about an hour and 20 to an hour and 30 minutes at lunch. On average my food will arrive at my table within 15 to 25 minutes of ordering. So if you're looking for a quick lunch, don't go to this place. However, if you have some time, the food is pretty good. I've had the chicken salad, which by far is my favorite sandwich, and I've also had the tomato soup. Which is pretty decent. It's not gourmet, but it's not bad. I am a huge fan of the turkey avocado Cobb salad. Well the size of the entrée salad does fluctuate, the ingredients are always fresh and the staff is pretty nice. Also, it's worth mentioning that If you ask for a piece of bread when you order a salad, they will give it to you for free. It comes with meal, you just have to know to ask for it.If you have the time, This is a really great place to grab a sandwich or a salad and just sit on the patio., But if you don't have a time you should probably avoid this place.

Pretty good food! Service was okay, could be better, but it's a purchase than sit kind of place, so guess you can't expect a whole lot. We arrived in the late afternoon on a Sunday, not too much going on, a few people at tables, but they took our order right away, and we had no issue finding a place to sit. The food was delicious. We each ordered the Choose 2. I ordered the chicken rosa pasta and the chicken pomodori panini, with a side caesar salad. The caesar salad was average, reminded me of bagged caesar salad, except for the croutons, those were house made and yummy. Both the panini and the pasta had very similar flavors for sure, kind of a tomato, basil, pesto, spinach thing going on. Which was fine for me, but if you're looking for variety don't order these two together! My friend got a cup of tomato soup, and the choose 2 with the chicken pesto sandwich and the pesto cavatappi. She said both were delicious too. She had the dragon fruit tea and did not care for it though. I've had breakfast BBLT & Egg sandwich before and it is so good (worth adding avocado too.) Both in house and on Door dash. Very much a "panera" type place and for being something I could get good food to go, for the same price as a fast food restaurant, It's pretty good to me. Oh! my other complaint, besides service, was the to go containers felt so flimsy.

An easy option. Not my first choice but not last either.Soups, pasta, salad and sandwiches. Very similar to Panera, but I think they actually make their food to order here. Service has always been fine. You order up front, receive a number, then sit and it's brought out to you. Ambiance is fine, definitely always an older crowd, no issue there just something I've noticed. Very open. I have noticed though some of there booths need updated as they are tearing...

Each month I have lunch with a group of retired women faculty at CSU Fresno. After working so many year's together, it's a lot of fun to meet, catch up and enjoy our timer together. This month we chose to go to the Corner Bakery. During graduate school at Stanford, I regularly went to the Corner Bakery. Today, I ordered a turkey, avocado Cobb Salad ($15.09). It was delicious! I was surprised how large the salad was. I was able to take the remaining salad home for lunch the next day. I was impressed with the quality of the vegetables, and protein. I asked for a raspberry vinaigrette. Everything was fresh and tasted wonderful. I'm happy that the Corner Bakery carries a variety of pastries, salads and other goodies. The service and ambience is excellent. You can get breakfast and lunch easily. I am excited about returning to try more items from their menu. Try it!

The food always tastes good. I loved my berry salad. Everyone else was happy with their meal. The order line always takes time. The service was fast this time. We sat in a back corner for a long time talking and eating as it was quieter there. Pleasant atmosphere, although a bit loud. The employees were very nice.
