Constas Tacos

We had asada, Chile Verde, and carnitas tacos. They were all very tasty and loaded with meat. The owner was very friendly and a great place to sit outside to eat. The red and green salsas were flavorful but not spicy. The address on Yelp is incorrect but it is correct on Google. It is on the south side of Shaw West of Leonard. Parking is on the dirt driveway and cash or Venmo only. I will definitely go back.

If you look up the term, "hidden gem" I guarantee there's a picture of Constas Tacos. This taco spot is hidden in an orchard near my house. It's a non-mobile food truck that serves up tortas, tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and burgers as well. My brother and I ordered enough food to feed our family; 24 tacos, 1 burrito, and two massive carne asada quesadillas. Everything was delicious! The street tacos were my fave with the adobada and carnitas tied for my fave. The carne asada burrito was massive and loaded with fresh guac, cheese, and pico. By the way, all of the food was made by one women, Constas?, and she had our entire order cooked and wrapped within about 10-minutes. While we waited for our order I chatted with another couple who is waiting patiently to place their order. They said they've been coming here for over a year and they claim it's the best torta and tacos they've had since they left LA about 15 years ago. That says something!I've driven past their hand painted sign multiple times and I'm glad I finally stopped in! Yes to a walkable and no frills taco shop!

The food was very good, their burrito was huge with lots of meat and tacos were so good. Loved how Inviting and friendly The service was and the outdoor seating has calming lights at night. the service was excellent.

Seen this taco trailer here for the past few months. Decided to finally try it. Tried three tacos: Abadoba, Carnitas, and Asada. All were good though a tad dry. The Abadoba was the most flavorful. Tacos are $2.50 and burritos are $9. Got my wife a burrito to go. Burrito was large and was pretty good. Green salsa was great. Cash and Venmo only.

I heard about Constas from a neighborhood social media page and since I love tacos, and I saw that they would be nearby on Wednesdays, we had to try it. They were super nice. Food was fresh and delicious. I had the asada burrito with avocado and no onions (which us what I seem to order every Wednesday now). Hubs had the asada fries. Next trip he had the bacon cheeseburger on Sourdough and we had to get 2 dollar tacos too. We absolutely love them. I definitely recommend. Next week I'm going to try the chili Verde burrito. They also have loaded meat of choice potatoes and offer a "bring your own bag of chips" and they load it up too which is pretty frickin cool! Give em a try! You'll love em too!
