One hour after comfort pro "fixed" my a/c
Barbed removed by 2nd contractor and capped. Stopped gas leak.
Idiot ass driver
Barbed port left in black line. Used to measure gas pressure.
Valve left off after 1st contractor serviced.
Fire damage inside unit after 2nd technician tried to restart with barbed port still in the gas line.

This driver was driving so reckless on the high way while I was taking driving to work. He cut me off and almost crashed into me. What a bad look for a company to have a horrible driver like this.

My home warranty made me use this company. My a/c stopped working June 28, 2024 and I called the company that does the yearly service on the unit. They came out the next day and told me the blower motor had gone out (it was 20 years old so not unexpected) and needed to be replaced. That was going to set me back $1800 so I called my home warranty to inquire about getting reimbursed for the work and was told they would not reimburse me, I had to use their preferred company. This was the beginning of the 115 degree days which I told the home warranty company, they said they would make an emergency referral for me and I would hear from comfort pro within hours. Monday rolls around and I still haven't heard anything from comfort pro, in the meantime time I bought a portable a/c for the low price of $450 so at least the living room would be semi tolerable. I try calling comfort pro and every time I select the option for home warranty the call is ended without ever speaking to a person. This happened several times after 8 am as well. I call my home warranty company and they tell me oh comfort pro is closed on the weekend. But we'll try to get in contact with them to get you an appointment. Suddenly I'm scheduled for a July 4th appointment, which is odd since they aren't open weekends but work federal holidays? So the tech comes out on July 4th, I tell him what I was advised about the blower motor and that the a/c unit itself is 9 months old. He takes a look at the furnace, agrees it needs to be replaced and tells me it's fixed. Except it's not. No cold air is coming out of the vents and the plumbing from the a/c to the house is completely frozen over. I call comfort pro the next day and I'm told they can't get to my house until the following week. Same tech comes out and says I need a new circuit board and replaced that, all fixed. Except it's not. Call comfort pro the next day and again I'm told I have to wait until the following week for an appointment. Same tech comes out and says I need a bigger blower motor and another circuit replaced. All fixed, except it's not. Call comfort pro again, same tech comes out and tells me it's the zoning and opens all the dampers and tells me if this doesn't fix it he has no idea what the problem is. Guess what? It's still not fixed! Call comfort pro they send out a different guy that tells me the Freon in the a/c is too low after looking at the furnace and recharges the Freon. He tells me if this doesn't fix the issue then he has no idea what the problem is. Still not fixed. Now if you're keeping track, comfort pro came to my house 5 times and never fixed the problem. Every single day my a/c was out was 100+ degrees. At no point did comfort pro say, hey we're going to make you a priority since we haven't fixed the issue. Oh and if you do have to call them, the only way to an actual human is to select the service option, never home warranty. I called my home warranty company to request a new company since 5 visits and over 3 weeks hadn't fixed it and was told no. So I took matters into my own hands and called the company that installed the a/c before I bought the house. They came out yesterday (exactly 4 weeks after the a/c stopped working) and you know what they found? The blower motor was incorrectly wired, set to the wrong speed, and was blowing air in the wrong direction. They also found that the a/c was over charged with Freon! So two different techs from the same company never once realized the blower motor was installed incorrectly. It has been 14 hours since my a/c was fixed and it's working perfectly. I'm absolutely furious my family and I had to suffer for 4 weeks because my home warranty refused to let me use my preferred company and refused to let me use a different company when the one they forced on me clearly didn't resolve the issue. I had to pay out of pocket for yesterday's appointment. The best part in all of this is that the warranty company "expedited" my service with comfort pro and got scheduled for Thursday August 1, 2024 which would be almost 5 weeks after the a/c went out. I'll be cancelling that since I don't need them messing things up again. Do not use this company, if your home warranty tells you you have to, tell them to read the yelp reviews and then get you another company.

Are Air Conditioner stopped working and the home warranty company is contracted with Comfort Pro. The technician put 2 pounds of coolant and left leaving our gates open. Did not identify what was wrong with AC. Our AC was still not working and we had to move out due to the heat! When you try to call them their mail box is full and you cannot reach them. Worthless company!

My air conditioner stopped working. It would only blow warm air. In this 100+ degree weather not having an air conditioner is very uncomfortable. I went through my home warranty company and was placed with a different company at first but they were unable to set an appointment with me because of their availability. I was then referred to comfort pro heating and cooling as a replacement company. Once I received a call back from comfort pro heating my appointment was set for the next afternoon. The technician that came was super nice and professional, he fully explained what my issue was and had my air conditioner up and running again in less than an hour.He was a total lifesaver. My air conditioner has been running perfectly ever since he left.

Extremely disappointed with the service that we received by this company. They were sub-contracted by our home insurance company (American Home Shield) and we're very upset by the entire situation. I wish that we had read the reviews before we allowed them to come and do a maintenance check on our AC unit because we would have cancelled. Our unit was working perfectly fine prior to them coming and doing the maintenance check. We've been in our home 6 months and never had an issue with it, but summer is right around the corner so we wanted to get a head start and get a tune up on it. They came out today and when we got home from running our errands we tried turning on the AC and it isn't working. It won't even turn on. Not to mention the guy that came out was completely sketchy. We should've known better, but we're first time home owners and we hoped we could trust this company. Now we have to hire a new company and pay out of OUR pocket to fix their mistake!

Our a/c was not working when we moved into our home 2 years ago. Our home warranty at the time required us to go through "Comfort Pro." After the initial service appointment, it was determined that we needed to replace our entire unit. Firstly, it took forever to get the parts, they initially ordered the wrong parts, and we still had to pay $700 out of pocket for charges listed that seemed questionable. When I asked "Comfort Pro" about this, I was told, in a snootie tone, "Those charges are standard, and you should feel grateful you're getting the other amount covered." They replaced the a/c unit at the end of summer 2021 after 3 months of waiting. We used it sparingly for the short remainder of that summer and summer 2022. We tried to turn it on in May of this year, and it was not working and blowing hot air. I have a hard time understanding how a "brand new" a/c unit can stop working after being used a total of 3 months. I do not trust this company and will never willingly choose them when I have issues with my a/c.

My furnace quit working Tuesday morning. I phoned them at 8:00am and they sent out Jino and was here by 10:00 am. The girl that answered the phone was great. She was polite and very helpful. Jino diagnosed the problem and was very detailed about the issue and needed to order the part. He was extremely professional and said he will get the part in a day or so. By 9:00 am the next morning they called to set up the appointment. Jino installed it by 3:00 pm the same day. WOW, one day from calling to have the issue fixed. I would not go by past reviews because this company was the real deal. The service and follow up was awesome!
