Coco's Taqueria

I've given Coco's plenty of chances over the years--dining in and ordering takeout--but after today, I'm officially done. The customer service has always been bad, but today was on a whole new level.Every visit feels like déjà vu: it takes way too long to get seated, and once we are, we're basically ignored. After waiting forever, we finally get chips and drinks--but there are never any refills. By the time someone comes around to take our order, we've already finished the chips and drained the drinks.But today was the worst. We sat there for almost an hour waiting for chip refills, drink refills, or even just a little attention. It took so long for them to take our order that I finally gave up, left $10 on the table for the chips, and walked out. One of the employees offered to pack it to go, but at that point, we had nearly exhausted our lunch hour.I've tried to give Coco's the benefit of the doubt time and again, but nothing ever changes. For comparison, I've had much better experiences at Agave Azul. Sure, it's a little pricier, but the service is quick, and the food is great. At least there, you feel like they value your time instead of leaving you stuck in Coco's chaos.Coco's, this is it for me. To anyone considering dining here, save yourself the frustration and try somewhere else.Sayonara, Coco's-- it's later days.

Stopped by for a quick lunch after going to a vendor market in town. The service was quick and friendly and the food was good. We ordered burgers, chili Verde burrito and a chicken a la cream. Everything was delicious.

The "taco truck taco" with carnitas is one of the best Mexican-food items I've ever eaten. Coco's has nailed carnitas caramelization. The rest of my lunch plate was also really pleasant. Plus they serve beans with the complementary tortilla chips, always a win. The salsa is the bright, tomato-y kind, not hot. Service is pleasant and efficient. Prices are surprisingly low: if this same food was at a bistro in East Bay, it'd be at least 50% higher. Restaurant looks like a hole-in-the-wall from outside but in fact has multiple dining rooms and is table service.

I live not very far out of hughson and have been wanting to try Coco's for a while. I was impressed with the service, the staff are all very kind and quick to work. The only thing I took a picture of was the bean dip we ordered, but we also got a crunchy taco and an enchilada. The bean dip was great, super flavorful, and the flour chips complimented it very well. I wasn't very impressed with my carne asada enchilada, though, because it was on tortilla and meat on the inside with a sprinkle of cheese on top. My mom wasn't impressed with her taco either. The shell seemed like one of those store bought ones. I'd say for a first experience not terrible, I'd like to come back and try some more food before I completely judge this place. Nice people and great bean dip, though!

First time we ate here, many years ago, it just wasn't up to our standards, so it has been a few years since we returned. Wow! We are extremely pleased with this restaurant now! We have now been about 3-4 times in the past month and we have enjoyed every meal that we have devoured. Ordering online is literally the best thing ever! I know that they are handicap friendly but I'm not one that enjoys sitting in a restaurant, so we order takeout. Food is delicious, flavorful and portions are spot on!Prices are great and they gladly work with item/ingredients swaps. It's really refreshing to have a great restaurant so close to home.

Since I've moved here, I was looking for a home restaurant. With many failures under our belt, we ran into COCO'S! Annnnnnd my heart and tastebuds would not be happier. It's very family friendly, the staff is prompt and on point. The pastor is to die for. Perfectly cooked. BUT THE MOLÉ is just as good as my grandmas, if not better. Although, I would deny that to her ;) They even have a spice mole, nothing compares. Delicious We come here now once a week

Absolutely impressed!! The customer service is outstanding, the food was so great. Highly recommend.

I had a regular burrito with carne asada, smothered in salsa verde and cheese. It was huge (only ate half, took the rest for lunch tomorrow). The flavor was pretty good, but there was a chunk of hard fat that tasted nasty). The service was great and the restaurant had booths and tables.

I enjoy the people that work there and the food is good! I've even hired their catering and it was plenty of food and delicious, I will hire them again.
