Hidden gem in the Central Valley with nice demonstration gardens to learn about what types of foliage and fauna grow well in the valley climate. Right next to a big playground for all ages and large park.

I was here to do a breastfeeding photo shoot and it was the perfect time! I got to capture so many blooming bushes and flowering plants. I was surprised to know that this cute little garden is free and is operated solely by volunteers. They are open Wed-Sun 9am-4pm and is closed Mon-Tues. This garden has a beautiful entrance with our CA state flower the Golden Poppy display. The garden is really inviting for all ages. It is well kept and has nice walk ways for you to stay on and guide you to certain paths. There are many plants along the way. There are also seating areas with benches for you to take a break while your kids run around or if you want to relax. There are art like displays, and sculpture that are created by people and is donated to this garden. I just think it adds such nice touch to the surrounding. This park is located on the same grounds as Dry Creek Park, and there are plenty of parking spaces. It can tend to get pack, but I never had trouble not finding a spot to park. Definitely a great garden to visit!

"We ask that you not sample...next time (inferring next time I'll know better)" This is what was said to me when it was my husband and toddler who picked a lemon off the ground and they were seen by a volunteer who was letting me know they'd close in 15 min today.I'd suggest you post a sign that says this and to include the fallen fruit it off limits. It a nice garden and the volunteers are appreciated for all they've contributed to making it so lovely. But yeah, post this additional rule at the garden, on your website or Facebook that all fruit, fallen or in the plant/tree is offlimits, not to be sampled.I do feel it's petty. In Hanford they have a garden where the community harvests the fruit together....just saying it's a bit more community oriented. Oh well.

I love this easy trail. I usually do a round loop which ends up being one mile . You can go further . The road is the limit . My favorite time is during the fall with all the trees changing colors .

7/19/23The pictures are misleading. It's nice, but nothing like the pictures. It's in the same area as the Dry Creek park. Pretty disappointing, but still nice and green.

This garden is right next to dry creek park in Clovis . Whenever we are at the park playing, we love to pop in here and walk around checking out everything. They sell plants and give you ideas of what to plant in your yard and a good lesson on what's native here. They hold events throughout the year and you can even rent out gazebo spots for your own special events.

Cute spot in town! It's small but they have a focus on xeroscaping and local foliage to use in your front and backyard to be environmentally safe and native landscape. They ended up having a bonsai sale when we stopped by so that was a fun surprise!
