We had excellent customer service. Staff was very knowledgeable about the appliances and told us information that otherwise would have impacted us in the long run. We appreciated the insight and ultimately decided to support our local store owners rather than a big box store. Appliances arrived promptly and delivery guy was great. Prices were comparable to other stores around town.

We walked in about 45 min before closing wanting to price five items. It was several minutes before we were acknowledged. After saying we weren't sure what models we wanted we were told to look around and that prices were posted. That was the extent of conversation. Expected different customer service from a local downtown business. Disappointing

I like General Electric appliances. Not only is the quality good, but the GE service is top-notch. The repairman is not often needed for these appliances, but when something goes wrong, the repair person who shows up gets the appliance running again and gives good advice.That said, I want to buy GE appliances and I want to buy from the local retailer. That means Clovis Appliance, even though I drive across town to shop there. I like to be greeted at the door and shown exactly what I'm looking for. I like knowledgeable salespeople, quick service and delivery, and reasonable costs. Clovis Appliance delivers on all of these.

We purchased a G.E. Advantium microwave\oven from Clovis Appliance in May of 2014 for $2,268.40. We were attracted to this product because of the unique features it had which enabled you to cook things using less energy than a conventional oven. Anyhow, when we decided to make our purchase my wife researched the availability and price at various stores in the Fresno\Clovis area. Clovis Appliance was a little more expensive than Best Buy but we had done business with them in the past and wanted to support a business that was located in Old Town. When we went to Clovis Appliance my wife showed the sales person a printout from Best Buy with the lower price. The sales person said they wouldn't match that price but would double the 5 year warranty on the magnetron to 10 years. We were OK with that and made the purchase. Well in the early part of this year the unit stopped working. I figured it was the magnetron as the other cooking features still worked. We called Clovis Appliance and told them what had happened and they instructed us to call a repairman who they worked with so he could verify our diagnosis of the problem. Well my wife made the call and the repairman told her that we should contact G.E. first so we wouldn't have to pay for a diagnosis twice as G.E. would be the ones who would provide the new magnetron for installation. Well we called G.E., explained everything to them and they said they would send someone out to look at it. They did and their repairman verified our diagnosis and said they would order the part and install it. This was done and we were billed $421.72 which was for the diagnostics, the part, and the installation. The cost of the magnetron was $162.20. We submitted the receipt to Clovis Appliance so they could send it in to the warranty agency. A few weeks later we received a check from the warranty agency in the amount of $89.54, about half of what we paid for the new magnetron. I called Clovis Appliance about this and they said they would look into it. To try to shorten a long story they (Clovis Appliance) eventually got back to us and said that was all we were going to get back. I told them we had done more than $4,500.00 in business with them over the years and I didn't like the way they handled this and that we would never again purchase something from them as they DID NOT stand by the conditions of the warranty that they provided to us.

My family has been using Clovis Appliance for years in our personal homes and rental homes, as we like to support local, family owned businesses. Moving forward, I will be buying appliances elsewhere. April 12th, we purchased a washer and dryer and refrigerator. We were told they would all be delivered on May 21st. We were told the refrigerator came in with a dent and a new one would arrive on June 12th. When the crew came to deliver the washer and dryer on the 21st, they refused to take it upstairs because they "don't take front loaders upstairs." The employee was extremely rude and condescending, saying that, "because my mom walked into the store knowing which washer and dryer we wanted, they did not think to ask if the delivery was upstairs." Apparently, it was our fault for knowing what we wanted upon entering the store. Ultimately, we had to pay someone else $400 to deliver 3 days later.The refrigerator has been promised on May 21st, June 12th, and June 25th. We were just informed the fridge will not arrive on the 25th. Clovis Appliance's only solution for the problem is for us to pay more money for one of the few refrigerators they have in stock, after I have been without a fridge for nearly a month. Needless to say, the entire experience has been a nightmare and I will not be purchasing from their store again.

We ordered a washer and dryer the last week of June. They stated, despite COVID, the appliances would be delivered within 6 weeks. At the 8 week mark their receptionist informed us they gave our products to someone else. We called GE (Clovis Appliance is a GE distributor), and they didn't understand why we didn't order from Home Depot. We are now 10 weeks since we paid in full, filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau Clovis Appliakce never responded to, and regret supporting this local business. As an added bonus, we now can't get the July 4th prices anymore and the office manager had the audacity to bark at me that she didn't do anything wrong.

I was having a new house built and chose to supply my own appliances because the home builders choices were not what we wanted. We went to Ferguson's first and the salesman was complacent and unhelpful. My wife found this place and we went to check them out. They were extremely helpful and very flexible as the house was barely in framing stages and they held the appliances for nearly six months. We have been very happy with the GE products and only have had one problem so far and they had a repairman out THE NEXT DAY and fixed two days after that! This purchase consisted of a microwave, dishwasher, range hood, cabinet oven, freestanding 36" professional grade range. Since we have been back to purchase a new refrigerator and two upright freezers. There has been a bit of delay due to COVID but worth the wait. I have dealt with the big box stores with bad experiences and never again. Thank you Clovis Appliance!
