Clovis Ace Hardware

Ever since true value switched over to Ace it is impossible to find anything in stock in the quantity that is needed. I literally went in for 8 bolts, exactly the same as I bought two weeks prior. Nothing's in stock and nobody could figure out how to get it. I think I'm going to Lowe's from now on

Received a Rewards flyer in the mail earlier this week. One advertised item was spray paint 2 cans for $10. I made a special trip to this store to purchase a couple of cans. Went to the paint department and nothing was showing this sale on the aisle. I walked over to the paint counter. There were two employees within three feet of me talking to each other. I was ignored for several minutes. Finally, one very rudely asked if I needed help. I asked which spray paint was on the flyer. The clerk told me that I was wrong and the sale didn't start for another week or so. Claimed it was an ad for a grand reopening, which it was not. He was very rude about it. I walked out and went to Walmart for the paint. When I got home, I checked the ad, and the sale was started on 8/30/2023. So the paint was ON SALE. That clerk made me feel like an idiot for no reason. He acted like I was bothering him by asking for help. Very disappointed with how this person treated a senior citizen.

Friendly staff. I came in to pick up a frozen cinnamon bun (by the entrance on the left side) and they directed me. They have everything there. Price is reasonable. At a good location with plenty of parking.

This place need to rebuild staff and attitude towards customers, when you claim customer service you should be ready to serve your customer otherwise why be in business. I rarely come because 1. They never really have what I need 2. Everything they sell is available on Amazon which I recommend you investigate first, 3. Poor customer service...too bad, you try support local businesses but unfortunately just don't get it.I came in with temp gauge and needed to measure the probe diameter, I asked your "service" pro if they could help me out to match a drill bit, he took a look at me and suggested I buy a caliper..I asked if he had one I can borrow to measure, he turned to me with a smirk and giggled-sorry, buy the caliper!Lol, BTW this took place at your service desk at the back of store!!!!

I enjoy shopping at this place. It's close to my home and beats going to Lowes or Home Depot. They obviously don't carry as much inventory as Lowes or Home Depot but for most small to medium home needs I usually can get what I need. There's always someone available to help out and so far everyone has been friendly and helpful.

We contacted Traeger for a warranty issue on our grill. They told us we would go through our local Ace. We talked with Adam who is the tech for Traeger. He did a wonderful job. Everyone was so nice at the store as well. Such great customer service!

Melanie at Ace was AWESOME!I had two window screens redone and had three new solar screens made.She was very patient with me and my chicken scratch measurements.The new screens fit PERFECTLY! THANK YOU Melanie!I would give you 10 STARS...but with Yelp, I can only give you 5 STARS!The owner should give you a raise!!!!!!

The staff here is always helpful and friendly. Always a great experience with them, they are knowledgeable and great priced. Had a water pump stop working during the rain storms, brought it in, they inspected it right away and removed a piece of debris that was blocking it at no charge. Also recently had a water hose I had bought from them fail and was still under warranty, I brought it in and they did an exchange right away. Locally owned business and honestly a great store and have ALWAYS been helped whenever I needed them. Cannot recommend enough.

This true value never has what your looking for there inventory is low! Most of the time there's no one to help with finding an item or knowing anything. The owner is just never wanting to help you! I'm sorry but your better off going down the street to a real store..

They were very helpful and had many great items on sale. We also were able to get pool chemicals while we were there shopping.
