Chuck’s BBQ Restaurant

Alls I gotta say is OOO WEE!! I was at a friends house celebrating their son's birthday when I tried chucks bbq! So this review will be based on that experience. The food showed up right on time with a friendly staff member who was all smiles. She was very pleasant and helpful. My friend ordered A LOT of food!! Every single thing was so delicious! He got bbq chicken, bbq ribs, tri tip, mashed potatoes, Mac n cheese, rice pilaf, salad, rolls and butter. There was so much good food!! The ribs were juicy and sauced up real nice. The tri tip was tender, juicy and well seasoned. The Mac n cheese was creamy and dreamy!! It was my favorite! The mashed potatoes were well salted (not overly) and creamy even with the skins in it! I was raving about it all night. I took 2 plates home and ate way too much! Haha! I definitely need to go in asap!

Ribs were amazing. So tender. Just the right amount of smoked flavor. Not overwhelming. Potatoes were yummy. Loved the Mac and cheese.

I wish they had multi-meat combo deals. But the family meal was worth it for $60 since you can choose multiple meats. We personally like a punch of flavors so wasn't for us, but solid BBQ. Worth checking out!

Chuck's is one of the best bbq places in Fresno. Usually go there when we visit. Staff are always friendly/helpful. It's a smaller place but they always have good options. BB ribs are really meaty and fall off the bone. We've tried other bbq places but have come back to Chuck's as it's consistently good and not overly expensive. At times, they don't have everything on their menu but always other option. We recommend!

I think I've found my new barbecue place! Yummy I must say. You're in for a long one readers ... The employees on todays visit were all super nice. Provided recommendations based on my mothers preferences. This time I (we) tried: Pulled Pork - 5 the port is juicy and and smoky just as it should be. You don't even need BBQ sauce. I'm sure the sandwich is delicious as well. It's hard to find pulled port that doesn't have too much fat. Their pulled pork is perfect! Boneless Ribs - 5 sometimes one thing that sucks about ribs is not knowing if you're going to get enough meat. The boneless ribs are excellent. The they do not disappoint. You get all of the benefits of eating ribs not hanging to hassle with the bones. The portions are generous. It's definitely more meat than you'd get with 3 bones. (I haven't tried the bone in ... but it this is easier for us ladies) the sauce is delicious ... perfect amount of sweetness to complement the meat. Brisket - 5 OMG! Talk about tender and smoky meat. It's so tender much chewing isn't required. Definitely someone that will be come my standard. Smokey and tender as it should be. Yum! French fries - 5 I am a french fry freak. I love fries ... over the burger or whatever I'm eating. The fries are perfectly crisp and seasoned to perfection. I get them for my son, but I end up stealing a couple of fries because they're so good. Out of all of the burger stands and restaurants, Chucks has the perfect crinkle cut fries. They're addicting actually. Get some ranch on the side and you're in heaven. Banana pudding - 5 OMG I love banana pudding. Theirs is very rich and with the price. It's nowhere near generic for sure. Probably the best banana pudding I've had. (I've made the easy version and the baked version .... It's GOOD) Jenny - 10 what an amazing owner. She cares about every customer. She is very approachable and generous. I had a nice conversation with her today ... she's super down to earth and takes care of her clientele. I wish more owners were like this. So, next time, which will be soon, I am coming back for the tri tip fries. I love that the prices don't break the bank like other BBQ places that charge by the lbs. Trust me one meal will make 2 or 3! Did I mention how delicious the fries are? LOL BTW, these pictures are after we made our first pass. Looks like a brand new plate! Keep it up ... you've gained a loyal family.

Still love this place and after trying a couple more things-the boneless ribs are a favorite!! So are the dinner rolls. Service is top notch and everyone is so nice. I went with my 7 month old daughter about a month ago and she was fine waiting for a bit then got fussy so I took her to the car and was going to give a few minutes and then take her back in to wait, well the gal working brought my food out to me to my car. I appreciated it! The only thing so far that has not been a winner to me is the coleslaw. It had way too much dressing for my taste and I just couldn't do it. I'm sure some folks love it like that, but it's not my cup of tea. Always pretty relaxed here and usually folks waiting for their food but I've been with an overwhelming amount of people. They do a great job with phone orders too. Highly recommend those during lunch time!

I have never tried Chucks BBQ before last night, and I truly have been missing out! The food was delicious! I had the brisket with beans and Mac n cheese. Everything was very tasty, I was highly impressed. I also want to note that the cashier who helped me went above and beyond ! I accidentally left my debit card and got half way across town , only to realize that I had to have left it behind! She and another employee waited for me , after hours, so I would be able to have my card back ! I can't wait to go back to try everything they have! Thank you to the awesome girl who helped me!!

This place is !! Good BBQ! Ribs are tender, fall off the bone, good flavor.. tri tip flavorfulThe potato salad and Mac and cheese sides are the bomb.. and inexpensive for what they serve.. best believe I'll be back again to visit!

Without a doubt the worst burnt ends I've ever had in my life. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. Legit threw the whole plate away, it wasn't even worth feeding to my dogs... the burnt ends had absolutely no char, and were over cooked. How is that possible? The mashed potatoes... don't get me started on those. Taste like bland powder potatoes that you mix with water. Absolutely disgusting. Not to mention everything was luke warm. How? I came right at 11:30am food should be fresh and hot!

Food was decent. I was just disappointed when I picked up my catering order and only got a mediocre amount of food when I paid such a hefty price.
