Cheba Hut "Toasted" Subs

So glad I decided to try a new sandwich place. I usually go to the same place but it was closed for the day so I decided to come give this place a try and I am so GLAD I did. Located right by Edo-Ya the store looks small from the outside but upon entering, it's a pretty big establishment. Tons and tons of seating! I don't know about you, but I never seen a bar inside a sandwich shop. It is quite nice with leather like seats. There are tv as well if you want to watch something. Order: I got the 8 inch La Canna because I love a good Italian sandwich and my husband got the 8 inch Chronic. Let's say we both loved our order. The La Canna was so refreshing, so hearty, and the flavor was fantastic. I did substitute cheddar cheese and they melted it for me. I would totally order this again. Husband enjoyed his sandwich very much so. There was a bbq flavor sauce to his sandwich and he loves anything bbq flavored. The bread was nice and fresh and wasn't stale. The toppings were very generous. The service was great. Overall, the gal taking my order was very down to earth and friendly. Gave me an insight in the theme of the shop. It was neat. The place was very clean and tidy. Check this sandwich shop guys, you won't be disappointed.

My 2nd time eating a tuna sandwich from here and both times, the tuna was watery which I did not like. It definitely interfered with my experience with the quality of the sandwich. The bread was a bit hard too like as if it were getting old. I probably wouldn't get a sandwich from here again just off the fear that I'd be runny, again.

This place is so fun. I appreciate the garlic bread option, which makes me come back for more. Compared to other sub shops, there is just so much more offered here to make it special, like baked goods and fun drink fountain options. The service isn't amazing but that's also not really what I'm there for. I wouldn't call it bad either. There are community events and a bar which is also pretty unique! The "green" vibe is pretty intense which is a little silly, but I also appreciate the outside of the box ideas. Come here when you have the munchies!

The sandwiches here are amazing with their reasonable prices. Quick and Great friendly service from staff and karaoke every other Wednesday with a DJ! Also they have a full bar :)Would definitely recommend to a sandwich lover that wants to eat and have a good time!

To be BLUNT... The sandwiches here are "DOPE"! The bread, the sauce, made with top quality ingredients... I can tell that my sandwich is without a doubt is ALWAYS made with LOVE. Definitely got my vote to be "THE BEST TASTING SANDWICH IN FRESNO!" Not to mention the COOL VIBE, friendly service and the pride & love they put into making my sandwich, delighting my tastebuds every time! So thank you for coming to Fresno! We need you here! Came in for a French dip, it sounded good, and a beer. The lady that took my order was nice and she let me know there will be someone else on the way to help me at the bar. The young lady that helped me at the bar seemed super irritated and short. I asked for modelo and she pointed out that the blue cap meant that it was out. So I asked if she had it in a bottle and she responded with "so do you want a cocktail menu or something?" I settled for the red wave that was not capped by a blue thing. When my French dip came out the bread was toasted and cheese melted but the roast beef on it was cold and the onions and mushrooms on it were also cold and raw. Didn't taste good at all.

I've had a lot of sandwiches in my days and this place is in my top 3. Their sandwiches are delicious. Fresh ingredients and high quality bread. Highly recommend the garlic bread. They do homemade cookies, rice krispy treats and goo balls which pairs nicely with a sandwich. They also have a bar with several taps for any beer people out there. This place has been becoming a weekly thing for me and I'm not mad about it.

This place has been so close to me for some time now and I'm glad I found it sooner than later! Cool vibes with awesome sandwiches AND a full bar (I like beer, they have some pretty decent selections). Food comes out fast and hot so be ready to grub down! Everyone has been nice and welcoming. I've been coming back for more!

Sandwiches were good - nice to have a toasted sub option around here. Menu seemed like home grown, elevated version of Quiznos. Walls are dripping with 420 friendly decor so keep that in mind depending on who you're with. Looks like they have a bar in the corner, although no one was at it when we dined here. Made me curious as to what the vibes might be like at different times of the day. Service was friendly, although not the fastest. Wouldn't go out of my way for it, but I would eat here again.

We were introduced to Cheba during a Yelp Elite event and we ended up being so impressed! All the menu items have specific names, my apologizes for not remembering any of them. During the event we had the turkey sandwiches and rice marshmallow desserts. Flash forward to an intense craving for Cheba a few days ago. We ended up ordering on their website and went to pick it up. The ambiance was unlike any other sandwich place I've ever gone to. There was a whole bar inside which was packed with people when I dropped by. Our order was ready and on the pick up shelf when I arrived. The bread is out of this world! Like I could eat that alone. My husband and I both loved our sandwiches, they had the perfect amount of meat to veggies. Also I strongly regretted not buying their desserts. I will have to go back later this week for my craving. We are looking forward to our next Cheba!
