Took in a handgun that was inoperable. They inspected, cleaned and removed rust.They were friendly, knowledgeable and the price was right!

These guys are the best. So far it's the only place I've gone to to purchase all of my firearms but I don't need to look anywhere else because I know these guys will always help me out with any questions I might have, as well as helping me get some of the best deals.

I had some machine work done on my rifle and I am so pleased. They made the modifications I needed, gave me the option of cerakoting the lower rather than just doing it. I am very happy with the fact that they were able to do the mod in the first place. I had taken my rifle to two separate places and was told it couldn't be done, CVG came through.

Great people Joe is excellent with customers!! Very knowledgeable. They have a great selection of guns . They are true craftsmanship in gunsmith.

For the casual shooter, Central Valley Guns can get you up or keep you shooting. For the beginner, they are an incredible wealth of knowledge. For the advanced shooters, there are plenty of stories to share and tips to be traded. They may not be the 'flashy' or a huge gun store, they are the most knowledgeable, helpful, customer-oriented store in town. Been to the others around the Fresno area but seems to me the smaller ones are way better than the snobby big ones.What they don't have on the shelves, they can normally get for you. Their service may seem slow, but it's because they practice customer service and believe in building relationships with their patrons, not just getting the wallet open! If you're just looking to buy a gun, you can go anywhere, if you want to make an investment, this is the place.I bought a rifle for a perfect price and were really knowledgeable in areas I am rusty but not the other I am a satisfied customer. Oh and by the way they do offer Duracoat and Cerokote firearm painting services for those who are tired of black on your babies.

Wow!!!! What can I say hands down best customer service. I've ever experienced. Joe and Mark were so kind and understanding to our situation and really appreciate how nice they were to me and my wife. They gave some really good advice and made helped ease our minds. I really want to thank them and look forward to doing more business with them

Central Valley Guns is the greatest! I went there recently to ask about the fitting of a new barrel in a pistol I had. Joe answered all my questions, and Nathan took the pistol and even test fired it for me right there and it turned out great. They just gained a loyal customer, and I so appreciate their professional and giving manner. LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!

I'm not one to bitch but I'm getting hosed. I brought in everything to build a 1909 Argentine Mauser rifle and was told 4 to 6 weeks build. It ended up being 12. I didn't say anything. I get a phone call saying something to the effect of it's going to cost a lot of money, to which I said, "Let me know if it gets over 700 dollars" Well it turned out to be1500 dollars. I didn't complain. Picked up the rifle and didn't notice the trigger was super high in the trigger guard, making it essentially un shootable. I paid 1500 in cash for a build that isn't shootable. I used to just eat stuff like this but I am literally dying and would like t9 shoot this rifle. I get a return call today saying that I should have bought the stock from them and that they have too many jobs to make it right. In a nutshell, it cost twice as much, got shit work, and told to wait in line to make it right. Don't take tolerance for weakness.

Marvin, Joe & all the guys are really helpful. They have tuned up a few rifles for me & built me a few customs that are tack drivers. Marvin is always accommodating to my needs and very insightful on components and parts for any type rifle. I would recommend them to anyone if your buying your first gun or building your dream rifle they can handle it.

This place is awesome!! My husband and I were looking to purchase a shotgun and were unable to locate the one we had in mind in our area. We kept calling places and ended up finding one we were interested in here. Mind you we live in LA and drive 3 1/2 hours to buy a gun and it was worth the drive.. We were happy with the purchase and had such a great service with Chris and Joe. They were so helpful, courteous and very knowledgeable,. They gave us some helpful advice and recommendations, which was helpful with things we were in need of but we never felt pressured to purchase anything!! This was a great experience by far and look forward to doing more business with them regardless of the long drive
