Central Valley Endocrinology

I was referred to this Doctor by primary doctor back in 2022. It took me 4 months to see him. When I got there 15 minutes early I waited 1/1/2 hours before I was called into a room where I waited another 1/2 hour for the doctor. He rushed did not introduce himself felt my neck. At that proceeded to tell me I needed a needle biopsy, filled out a piece of paper & left. I went out tried to pay my copay but the girl could not find my account. It is now 2024 & I got a delinquency bill demanding payment immediately! Tried to call & make a payment but not able to do over phone. Mailing a check today BUT I would never ever use this doctor because of such unprofessionalism by his employees. They charged my insurance $284.00 just to process my coming and another $190.00 for the doctors 5 minutes he spent with me! Like on other said I wish I didn't have to give a star. It would paid the day of if the receptionist had given an effort BUT even send me bill at very least the sameYear NOT 2 years later!!!!!

After going to this doctor for years & always having to wait 1 hour or more to see him for 5 minutes & dealing with his inefficient staff, I decided to switch doctors. Now I go to A Fresno doctor. Yes I have to drive 40 minutes but he is a great doctor, the most I wait to see him is 15 minutes & they have a professional staff. Always feel value & appreciated.

I have been going to Dr. Sahasranam for several years, he is an excellent doctor. However, his office staff is lacking. I have been trying to reschedule an appointment for 2 weeks and nobody ever answers the phone. I have left messages and no one gets back to me. This is not the first time this has happened! Once you make an appointment you better plan on sticking with it because there is no changing unless you walk into the office. I would recommend the doctor if it wasn't for his staff. To make it worse I drive 30 minutes just to go see him!

I usually spend 30+ minutes in the lobby and then another 20-40 minutes in the exam room...WITH an appointment. The doctor didn't explain my condition (I found out after seeing a new doctor that the extent of my condition was never explained). He gave 1-3 word answers to my questions and he always came across like my questions were keeping him from something more important. My new doctor disagreed with almost all of the treatment Dr. S prescribed.

I made an appointment for my wife to see Dr Prem Sahasranam of 515 W Grangeville Rd Hanford Ca on 17 Jan 2024, everything was going good until they had a supposed problem problem with their computers so they sent about 8 people home saying they would call us the next day. That call never came for us. We called back on the 23 Jan 2024 and made an phone appointment for 13 Feb 2024, that call never came. When we called to find out why they never called, they said it was never scheduled but they had us down for a walk in on the next day and since we didn't make that appointment we were being counted as a no show. (After much loud screaming) We scheduled another appointment on 26 Feb 2024 @ 3:00 pm. We called that day around 1:00pm to make sure it was still on and they cited no appointment for that day. I think they are doing one of two things, they are submitting appointments with medicare/tricare that they never made and pocketing the money.. or.. my wife got black listed for whatever stupid reason I'll never know. I know this happens in Hanford, CA because I got black listed from ever seeing a urology Doctor from Adventist health because I missed an appointment 5 years ago. My wife never got to see this Doctor and never will. If you do make sure they are not playing shell games with your appointments.

Overcharged me on my copay, they kept giving me the run around for who to call to get reimbursed. Also, they kept giving me the wrong number on who to talk to for a reimbursement so I had to go back in person because they don't answer their phone. I would call several times on different days and no one answers their phone or gets back to the voicemail. Also, you have to wait at least an hour to get seen, only to talk to the dr for maybe 5 mins. I don't receive an explanation of what is going on with my results other than "everything looks fine, see you again in 3 mo". This office overbooks themselves and the staff is not the greatest with customer support. Will be going to the Fresno dr instead.

I'll start off by saying the people are very nice. I go there and wait and they have to reschedule because they don't have all my results,not their fault about the results,but I felt that I should've been notified sooner so I didn't have to waste gas going there because they had to cancel. They make an over the phone appointment for the next week. The Dr was late so I called and got told he was running late and I would get a call back soon... The Dr is no where to be found and now they're closed:)

If I could leave zero stars, I would. The doctor on sight is the ONLY doctor for both Hanford and Visalia locations, which creates havoc in the office and VERY LONG WAIT TIMES. He has too many patients, and no time to give them adequate care. My wife had an appointment for 3:15pm, we both arrived at 3:10 and checked in. We waited until 4:25 to even be called back into a room, where we waited for another 30 minutes for the doctor to come in. No one apologized for the wait, and the doctor just busted through the door when he finally did come in. Didn't ask my wife ANY questions about what she's experiencing and then ordered her labs. Then he proceeded to ask us to come with him to another room, as he left the room, he realized that another patient was in there and told us to wait in the room we were in. WE WAITED ANOTHER 20 minutes and then went to the desk to ask what's the hold up, and to tell them that we'd been forgotten about. They proceeded to tell us that he was with another patient now and to wait. Like what? In what world is this practice of patient care allowed? His staff are rude and talk about patients after they leave the area. My wife and I both witnessed a staff member calling another patient a bitch to another staff member after she was taken back to her room. They never answer their phones but yet their three front desk workers STAY on their personal phones. All over this business is terrible, and after seeing the other reviews it seems like this has been going on for YEARS and nothing is going to change about it. So just don't go there, you're not getting proper care and your money is wasted. To add, we weren't the only ones who complained about the wait time in the office vocally. Again, no one said sorry for the wait or even acknowledged the fact that there was an abnormal wait time. In my opinion, this all together is malpractice, and a terrible doctors office.

Dr. Sahas is great and very good with patient interaction. The office staff on the other hand leave a lot to be desired. If I get an answer when I call I'm put on hold only to have to hang up and call back to leave a message. They don't respond to their messages in any kind of reasonable time frame, I even went in person to request a new lab slip to only be told they would call me when it was ready and they scheduled an appointment. I still don't have the lab slip to get the labs done, I don't need an appointment yet!! Called to cancel and again ask for the lab slip to be put on hold for 15 minutes so again I called back and left a message that will most likely again not be responded to.

My wife, sister and myself have been seeing Dr. Sahasranam and like the care he has given. My complaint is with his office procedure. Contacting his staff for appointments & billing issues. No one answers the phones and if they do you are transferred to somewhere and no one answers.
