Front desk staff need training in customer service. I only went to this office because of the NP and now that she's gone I will never go back. Unfortunately, the office keeps calling me. Dozens of calls from the same guy over months asking me to schedule a follow up appointment with another doctor. I have asked them several times to take me off their list and they still call. Blocking your number. Also, billing & appointments were a nightmare, you can never get their staff on the phone. Unless, of course, they're desperate for you to come back...

My mother went to see Lisa Higgins for the first time after multiple phone calls arguing with the staff if they took her insurance or not she finally got a appointment, when my mom went for her first visit the receptionist was extremely rude to her she asked my mom if she filled out the new patient paperwork that was sent to her and my mom stated she never received the paperwork instead of giving the option to my mom about filling the paperwork out the receptionist wanted to cancel her appointment when clearly my mom told her she never received the paperwork, she felt so un welcomed by the staff their, she felt like no one cared and the only reason she waited was because she had been waiting a long time to see the NP, I work at a private walk in clinic and I would never treat my patients that way, they are the ones who keep our doors open, they need to do something drastic to the staff in that office because clearly they don't care about there jobs nor the patients, it's sad when the providers are amazing and the staff just ruin everything. I just hope they do a change before it's to late.

Dr. Higgins in the visalia clinic ROCKS! she has saved my life! Being a diabetic on the pump herself she onows exactly what to do. Her humor and knowledge puts anybody at ease. The ladies inthe visalia office are amazing as well! I would recommend anybody to this amazing practice!

This place is terrible. I used to go to them but stopped. The receptionist was so completely rude. Thank goodness, NP Lisa Higgins, is no longer there. They charged me over $200 in office visits (phone appointments) when the NP promised I would not have to pay due to the fact they would not send verification to the pharmacy for medication I was waiting to get. They kept postponing my appointment and then I got a call demanding payment. I paid them and said I would no longer be a patient because of it. Since then they have harassed me with phone calls to make another appointment. Every time I tell them I am no longer a patient and want the calls to stop. Sometimes it is once a week! I have now blocked their number. But if it somehow happens again, I will file charges. It is ridiculous.

Disappointed with service. Started out promising and was hoping for better control of blood sugar. Tried to get help when blood sugar was really high, called office who said I would get a return call. Never received a return call and didn't know what to do. Will continue looking elsewhere for help.

Hello Carolyn and Dr. Sahas, I wanted to let you know I will no longer be able to be seen by your office due to multiple issues with your front desk staff.I was informed this morning I would not be able to see Dr. Sahas tomorrow because I have no insurance authorization. This is the 2nd time this has happened in 8 months, the first being when I was 8 months pregnant back in June 2016.I was told I needed to call tricare and it was my responsibility to make sure I had an authorization for my visit. In the last 19 years I have lived with diabetes and seeing 30 plus Drs for various health issues this has never occurred. When I called in November 2016 to ask for a refill rx for my insulin, I was told Dr. Sahas only does rx on Monday so I would need to wait 6 days for insulin! Luckily my OB called in the rx for me the same day.Dr. Sahas and Carolyn are excellent, but when you can't get your appointment or your medications, what's the point?I will officially file a grievance with my insurance as well as post this review on yelp.To say I am disappointed is an understatement.Thank you, Sabrina

What a joke. Went in for an appointment needing my insuline. The procider gave me a new meter, "ordered" my insulin and sent me on my way. Got to my pharmacy, no order for insulin, stuck with a $132 bill for test strips. Called provider office, got an answering machine. Never returned the call and no 'script written. What a joke. Maybe her insulin should get cancelled. Better yet, pull her license. FAKE PROVIDER BEWARE!
