This is a cool location to check out the sunflower maze but be careful of bees. Also the maze is actually more of a stroll, not an actual maze. Please don't forget to donate to help keep the maze going every year and to purchase something from the fruit stand. Also don't pick flowers from the maze! I saw a couple of people doing this and that ruins the experience for the people after you. The sunflowers were huge and super tall. We went at 9am to try to beat the heat and even then it was beyond hot.

On the way to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park, along a narrow stretch on 180, our cousin (who was ahead by a couple of hours in front of us) told us to stop by this place. She said the peaches are HELLA sweet. It was around 1100 hours when we pulled in as it was a perfect time to get some healthy snacks as we had been driving since 0700 hours. I was immediately taken in by its charm. It's a nice little roadside store run by a nice family. The girl working at the counter said her family just picked the fruits just that morning; and I believed her. Just looking at the nice quality of the products made me want to get a sample of each.We ended up getting some peaches and figs, and boy were they ever sweet. My cousin wasn't lying when she said HELLA sweet. The place also reminds me of a Norman Rockwell painting with its small-town charm, quaint, cute and nostalgic feel. It's draped in American flags and one big Old Glory prominently hanging on the wall. There's also an antique weight scale, a fruit washing station and an orange juice - make that freshly-squeezed orange juice maker. Nothing like a freshly-squeezed OJ to satisfy your thirst.Yes, it's HELLA sweet!

Very overpriced fruit. I was craving some ripe strawberries but wasn't going to pay $3.50 for half a pint (8 strawberries). I did purchase some citrus fruits that were new to me and those tasted fresh. Tourists get lured here because you start seeing the signs for $1.69/lb fruit (another stand down the road) and with the excitement, we just pulled over. They had nice displays that draw you in until the shock of prices sets in.

I took a visit here after seeing friends from the area post photos of the sunflower maze. It looked very cool so I decided to make the trip out there. It is very out-of-the-way so I would not suggest making the trip solely for the sunflower maze. The maze itself was fine, it was a free activity so I can't complain. It was very short and not really a maze, more like a pathway. It is also very, very dirty. I made the mistake of wearing Birkenstock sandals and my feet and sandals were in terrible shape after finishing the maze. Plan accordingly what shoes to wear. The fruitstand wasn't anything spectacular, the fruit selection was very limited, and very overpriced. The fruit was not labeled as organic, yet was more expensive than most organic fruit I've seen at other farmer markets. I bought some white peaches, but they were very bland and were clearly harvested too early.

Did a quick stop here after visiting the fruit stand a few minutes away from here. Don't be fooled by the nicely stacked plastic fruits they have in front of their fruit stand for display. From afar, it looks very nice. However, they do have a sign there that tells you that those are fake. We did not make any purchase. However, the fruit stand was nicely stocked. Their is a small store right next to it. We didn't see any employees outside so I cannot talk about customer service. Prices are similar and higher than your fruits from your local grocery store.

Overpriced fruit, but the Sunflower "maze" was fun for my kids. The maze was more of a little path than an actual maze. The sunflowers were huge!Paid $5 for a pint of cherries, which I can easily get for $2/lb elsewhere.

This was a novel idea to add a sunflower maze attraction for families. We drove from Fresno and for us just not really worth the drive. The maze was unkept, tons of mud and broken sunflowers in our path and the fruit stand was overpriced with a limited selection of fruit. It was an ok stand but we have better produce closer and cheaper in the clovis fresno Area and the sunflower maze wasn't a cool enough to warrant the drive

Horrible experience!!!! I loved the stand at the previous location and was excited to visit the new one. The gentleman was nice and tried his best to do service recovery, but it was impossible to make up for the way I was treated by the woman working there. She refused to acknowledge me, that is, until she said I couldn't have the fruit I was choosing from the basket outside. Said I must buy what is inside, but there wasn't any inside. Then she wouldn't package any from outside, even when the gentleman requested that she do so. Unbelievable and incredibly disappointing. I will not be returning.

Overpriced and the fruit is old. Do yourself a big favor and head further west on 180 to the 180 Fruit Stand. The fruit is luscious...sweet, fresh and reasonably priced.

My wedding flower is going to be a sunflower so we thought it would be cute to take our engagement photos in the sunflower field. We spoke with the owner and she was VERY helpful. She told us what time of the year that the sunflowers would look the best(early July). She even recommended that we wear dark red or purple for our photos so they really pop with the sunflower background. Apparently the field is used a lot for engagement photos maternity photos etc. We live about a half an hr away so it was definitely worth the drive!
