1) Forgot to pay all the creditors in my settlement. One went into collections and started harassing me. There are others still unpaid, even though Cenci received his part of the money that was to be used to pay the creditors. He also never sent me an itemized list of the creditors, as I requested multiple times. 2) My case was a simple car accident, I had been rear ended at a stop light. Due to back pain, Cenci sent me to a doctor for injections. While waiting in the lobby, I googled the doctor and learned his medical license was suspended for working while under the influence of prescription narcotics, as well as having 4 patients literally code on him because he was doing the procedure without the proper equipment. One of the patients went into a coma for several months. I left the location and when I confronted Cenci, he dismissed my concerns, explaining that the doctor was under close supervision of another licensed doctor. I told him that I am not interested in being some junkie's guinea pig so he can regain his medical license. I then found my own doctor. 3) Although we got along well initially, our working relationship deteriorated at the negotiation stage of my case. I admit, I am angry that he didn't try harder for a better settlement, but that pales in comparison to the above issues. My final concern of importance is the total disrespect he exhibited when my husband (also an attorney) wanted more time before we signed any agreement, as he wished to seek a second opinion. Cenci pressured me relentlessly with non-stop phone calls and emails. While he may have secured the best deal (in his mind), the point was mute, because I had a right to check into other opinions, and I respect my husband's advice to do so before I trust anyone else's advice. I am very disappointed in how Cenci handled the entire matter, and I am far less disturbed by the low settlement than I am by the way he treated me. Money comes and goes, but there was no excuse for these things that I have mentioned.
