I Got My Kids Back!!!When I hired Mr. Cavin I had been trying to battle for myself in court trying to get back four children that had wrongfully been taken away. Mr Cavin advertises himself as being well known by court staff and he is right, everybody knows him well. When I hired him I didn't know anything about his past until somebody pointed out. Basically he loves kids a little too much. You should look him up. Anyway, as a lawyer, this was my experience: - he charged me for every little conversation we had. Even the free consultation is only for half an hour, after that clock is running. If you text or email you get charged, including for all personal conversations about his health, his divorce etc. What you pay for retainer is nothing compare to what comes after- sometimes he will not answer phone calls, mail, email for weeks. Court date would approach and he would be no where to find. Imagine if you have something important coming up, like for example the custody of your child and you need to file papers but you can get a hold of your lawyer. His wife is the office assistant/manager and they both get sick together ( that's what I been told once) and don't answer any of their phones. There are days that he would be very good about answering the phone calls and meeting with you, especially at the beginning. -he purposely asked the court that we come back for another hearing after I asked him not too. I was ok with what the court already ordered. He told me that he is the lawyer and I can't tell him what to do. But by coming to court again I had to pay him a big lump of money so it benefited him. - most judges don't like him. So if the judge doesn't like your lawyer think of how your case may turn out. -he is not a great public speaker and worse he did not come prepared. When judge asked him to summarize what we asked he was not able to do so. - I just got another bill from him and realized that there were charges in there that I paid long time ago. I never kept track of money. On top of it, he sent the bill 3 months late, apparently when a $95 late fee applies. So if you decide to use him, keep track of times you talk and charges in the bill to make sure you are not overcharged. This is my experience with Mr Cavin.

I would like to tell you about Mr.Cavin and his staff. They went above and beyond what I could and would expect him and his staff to do. I call his office on a Friday about 5:30 or 6:00 pm and to my belief and behold they called me back that evening. I must have called 10-15 attorneys that day. Thank god Mr. Cavin and his staff were ready to help me. He met me at his office the next day, yes the next day on a Saturday. Even though I live in Sacramento him and his team to on my case. He was very attentive to all the details surrounding my case. Three weeks later Mr. Cavin returned my kids back to me that had been wrongfully taken from me. I couldn't have done this on my own.
