Carnitas Purepecha

Incredible food, amazing service, and phenomenal ambiance. The carnitas are as authentic as you can get. And the handmade tortillas are to die for.

Stopped in for the first time today. Very friendly and helpful staff. I ordered the chicharrones with guacamole and the carnitas plate. Everything was very fresh and well prepared. Highly recommend!

Service was friendly and attentive. Ambiance is simple but nice and clean. I loved the cumbia music that was playing. I got the carnitas salad bowl to go and it was delicious! Well balanced, flavorful, and a significant portion that left me happy and full. I had a michelada with Pacifico while I waited. The michelada was simple but good. Came in a large glass with a shrimp, and slice of Orange and chamoy over the top. I was also offered free chips and salsa which I gladly accepted. Great for a quick lunch meal and the carnitas are delicious.

Tried this place for the first time today. It was amazing! I got my food to go but you could tell the service was excellent. Super friendly. It was important to them to get the order right. The carnitas were some of the best I've had. The homemade tortillas are outstanding! I also had the chicharrones tacos. They are HUGE. Very good as well!

The food was great. Soft carnitas and buche. The service was excellent. They have nice music playing and the environment was very pleasant. Definitely family friendly.

What a treasure..........outstanding in every way.......fresh ingredients, generous portions, and superb food. We had the fish tacos...giant battered fish with the best sauce ever....the purepecha tacos with homemade chicharons ...and the best carnitas we have ever tasted......even the beans and rice are way above normal!The waitstaff....especially Diane, and the owner Rosa Maria and her wonderful chef husband run a little jewel of a restaurant..... we will go back often!

Very small dining room but full of atmosphere. Great service and very friendly staff. Food was excellent, very flavorful. Highly suggest stopping in.

Took my dad from the rest home out for a nice lunch on sunday. He loves menudo and we tried it there. He said it was okay. I ordered what looked like two huge apple turnovers with beans and rice. The apple turnovers were boiling hot, while the beans and rice were lukewarm. They have no chicken there. Only pork and beef for tacos but no chicken! The waitress / cashier was very nice but weird that they had no chicken!
