Carnitas Michoacan

Ordered a couple pounds of birria. Total was about $60, birria was mostly fat and not a lot of meat. Wish I would have looked at the food before taking it. Seems like they were running out and just gave us the scraps from the bottom. Lady at the front was nice.

I was Rolling around Merced in my Whip and got in the Mood for a Burrito!!!!They are located in a older Strip Mall.But there's plenty of parking.So I Parked my Whip there .I rolled in and was greeted by a friendly Waitress!!!I placed a To Go Order for a Baller On a Budget Approved Carne Asada Super Burrito with Sour Cream and Guacamole!!!!I Paid by Credit Card and Chilled out.15 minutes later my Finely crafted Burrito was in my Hands !!I rolled out the door and jumped in my Whip and rolled out!!!When I got to my Destination.I unpacked my Super Burrito and proceeded to eat it!!!It was well Constructed and Packed full of Flavor and Tasty !!!!I enjoyed every Bite Service was Friendly and Efficient!!!For all these reasons this is a Baller On a Budget Approved Establishment!!!!

Nice little hole in the wall restaurant with friendly service and authentic tasting carnitas. The combo meals for 2+ people are a great value--carnitas, tortillas, rice, beans.

Great food and the price is a lot cheaper then anywhere else. They are very friendly and very fast service .

Let me start by saying the service was great and this review is solely for the food.I don't judge places on the location or surroundings since that may be out of their control. This place is in a strip mall/shopping center plaza. One couple eating there at dinner time(should have already been a fed flag). Rest of the place was emptier than a street race after someone yells Cops.Food is definitely worth 1 Star or below(2nd star added just for the service).I ordered a veggie burrito for my wife and the portion was great but inside was filled with just overcooked mushed together rice and shredded lettuce. No Cheese! No Veggies! No Anything! I ordered a chicken burrito and again same thing, filled with all mushed together rice barely any chicken and that was it. No cheese, veggies, or even beans. Here is the kicker they charged like $12 a burrito and you have to pay extra if you want chips($4) and old salsa poured from a jug from the fridge. For that price please do yourself a huge favor and go to Agave next to Turmeric. Or save a couple of bucks and hit the taco truck down the street parked at the liquor store.First and definitely last time going here!

Carnitas Michoacán is a simple and easy place to get really good Mexican food. The Burritos are huge and very good. Inside is simple and unassuming. Getting your food might take a little while but it's worth the wait.

Everything we ate was extremely salty. Husband had a torta de asada, tacos de carnitas, lengua and buche. I had chile verde , rice and beans.

First of all the food is delicious. The service is very friendly and helpful. The Taqueria is very clean. Fast service. This place is my new favorite Mexican food place.

Context: ordered one super burrito and steak fries. chips and guacamole.To begin, the guacamole had the skin of the avocado mixed in the guacamole, it did not seem to have any salt, pepper, lemon, chili and the steak fries were lightly dusted with cheese, a little sour cream and a little beans, I gave one star purely because the waitress was kind. For the food and the wait it was 0/5.

One of the best burrito's supreme and the customer service was the best I've had so I would really recommend it.
