Carniceria Y Taqueria Mexico

It was Christmas day and most restaurants were closed in Fresno, so we decided to quickly get off the highway around downtown Madera and see if anything was open. Luckily we didn't need to drive far before we spotted this carniceria. Its parking lot was pretty full with many cars coming and going, which indicated that it was open.The store sold a variety of meat and snacks, much as what you'd expect from any other carniceria. But most people were here for the taqueria portion - you could get a box of cooked meat to go for ~$13-17 per pound, which was a pretty good deal. There were some tables inside the taqueria, but they were slightly dirty, and most people were just taking their food to go.We got a few quesadillas to share. They were huge and stuffed with well-seasoned chicken breast meat, and came with sides of rice and beans, or salad and avocado. The free salsa here was SPICY, and my mouth burned for a bit after consuming it. But overall the food was excellent and we left full and happy.

This is my go to place when i go to Madera. Tacos have plenty of meat and i love their hamburgers and fries. Love the way the food is always fresh and that they give u a free piece of crackling with your order. Staff were nice and the place was clean. Great flavors.

Horrible service my wife order some meat I get there I go pay for it and once my name gets called I get my food and go to my car then some older guy that works there comes out saying that I dint pay for my food and I show him my receipt then he takes the food away and my receipt and takes it back to the store to get it check to see if it was real or fake. Very rude in their part.

I went to try their Menudo and although the line was very long, the customer service was super quick. it's very convenient that it's inside of a store so you can get any drink you like the Menudo came with all of the sides and tasted very authentic!! The Vibe is super fast and convenient

Went for a Burrito, which I may add was huge. Only one type of salsa offered. Burrito was just okay. It had too much tomato and lettuce. Service was friendly.

Nunca contestan el teléfono! Para que lo tienen si no van a contestar?? Food is great but they turn their phones off so that no one can order. It's annoying! As a mom it's hard to go in with 2 kids to order and wait so phone calls are easier for me. Horrible service but good food.

terrible service. we said no onions, i politely told the cooks there is onion and if thry can make tacos with no actual onion, they continued to tell me that there is no onion and that they can't change them. the main cook is a puta, horrible service

Their quesadillas are great. Alittle pricey for Mexican food but the food tastes great & comes with a good amount of food. definitely good quality.

The best tacos i've ever had in my entire life. It's always piping hot and the asada is fresh and so damn good. Not to mention the chicharrones 10/10
