The Dr I saw was great. But if you ever have to deal with the office staff, they are rude and disrespectful. They don't answer the phones. Then when I did get through to them they hung up on me. She didn't even listen to what I needed. There is no excuse for this kind of behavior.I was calling because I am getting messages that I was a no show for an appt. This is an appt I knew nothing about. It says it was a post op appt. And I cancelled that precedure. So I don't want to be charged for an appt they are saying I didn't show up for. But also didn't know anything about. But they wouldn't even talk to me they just hung up on me.

If I could give this place a 0 for patient care. This office needs to be retrained on professionalism, ethics and how to handle and treat patients with dignity/respectFor starters the front desk staff doesn't prioritize patient care quality, the back office staff also doesn't listen to patients needs and worries more about leaving on time instead of taking care of the patients that are scheduled. The manager loves to discuss and argue with the patients in the front desk with the lobby full of patients discussing private information and that's a HIPPA violation. She likes to blame others for her own mistakes tooDefinitely need to improve the quality of patient care

I initially saw the Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) from this clinic at the hospital, and they were exceptional--compassionate, knowledgeable, and dedicated to patient care. Based on that experience, I had high hopes for this clinic when I was referred for urgent follow-up care due to the seriousness of my condition. Unfortunately, my experience with the office staff was profoundly disappointing.When trying to schedule an appointment, I encountered significant challenges. Calls went unanswered, and I was left on hold for extended periods, sometimes to the point of frustration. Eventually, I found a way to bypass the automated system to get someone to pick up--a workaround no patient should have to discover just to secure vital care.The office staff's demeanor over the phone was disheartening. Many interactions gave the impression that they were uninterested in assisting patients, which contrasts with the dedication shown by the medical staff. It's important for the office staff to recognize that patients are not trying to make their jobs anymore difficult because just as the office staff doesn't want to continue to file paperwork and talk to new patients.. patients also do NOT want to interact with people who are making the patient's life harder than it has to be considering the fact that these patients are going through life altering diagnosis and are seeking care that is vital to our health and well-being.Ultimately, as I was going through the struggle of dealing with this Clinic, I was able to also find a different clinic that could address my urgent medical needs. Thankfully, that clinic was responsive, empathetic, and able to provide the care I needed. It's disappointing that California Urology could not do the same.While the medical staff at this clinic seem dedicated and capable, the office staff's behavior and inefficiency severely undermine the quality of care this establishment could provide. I sincerely hope the management takes steps to improve the patient experience because no one seeking care should feel dismissed or ignored, especially in situations where their wellbeing is at stake.

The front off is rhe worst. Could take 2 day to get a call through. I literally tried 26 times to no avail. Seriously, what's the problem? If you are so lucky to get through, good luck on a follow up. The only reason I stay, is that rhe providers are amazing.

I recently read the reviews on the quality of the office staff at California Urology. Several of the reviews were posted years ago and it seems nothing has proved! Recently had surgery and have left several messages with no return phone call. It's almost impossible to reach anyone. I find this conduct totally unprofessional. Hard to believe the office manager (if they even have one) allows this to continue. The doctors are great, but the staff needs extensive training!
