Cahoots Corner Cafe

This was the third time my wife and I have eaten at Cahoots Corner Cafe in Oakdale and each time was as good as the first. GREAT service, caring people working there, kind patrons, good food, fairly priced, well prepared and generous portions. Did I mention the parking was easy?

I was recommended to come here, and it was definitely a great choice!First, let's talk about parking. There is a small parking lot, along with a few street parking spots nearby, but not many. Had to park a little down the road, but the short walk wasn't a problem.The restaurant was fairly busy, but the wait to be seated was only about 10 minutes--not bad at all. I ordered breakfast, and it was absolutely delicious! The food was full of flavor, the portion sizes were generous, and everything was cooked perfectly. I also got a side of pancakes, which were amazing.Although Luis wasn't our waiter, I really appreciated him asking if I preferred warm or room-temperature syrup when I requested some. I went with warm syrup--definitely the best choice!Overall, great food, great service, and a solid recommendation. I'll definitely be coming back!

OMG! This place has the best food! My wife and I owned a restaurant and she is a professional chef so we are very conscious of the little things that make the difference between good and great, such as quality meats and ingredients and fresh oil for frying. I had the banana waffles and a side hamburger patty. The waffle was the best breakfast food I've ever had, light, fluffy and full of flavor. Highly recommended! The patty was absolutely delicious, made with high quality meat and perfectly cooked. Too many places use frozen meats and cook the flavor out of it. Their potatoes were also unbelievable, fried with not just fresh ... but quality oil. You can taste the difference. Every bite was a taste of heaven. The servers were friendly and on top of their game. We've driven 1 hr. EACH WAY twice since our first visit just to eat here. If you're lucky enough to be nearby take advantage of your good fortune.

We got the breakfast burritos with sausage (one order comes with two full-size burritos), fresh orange juice, and chocolate milkshake to go. Takeout orders can be placed at the corner of the bar, and there was no wait to order on a Sunday morning. It was loud inside the cafe/restaurant, like any busy diner. But the wait for our order to be ready was only about 10 minutes. Wonderful service, super friendly, and efficient. The staff here seemed to be working hard. And those burritos were filled with delicious, freshly made ingredients, you could taste the quality, the ground sausage, scrambled eggs, melted cheese, hashbrowns, the salsa and sour cream on the side created the perfect flavor combination, it was so filling. And that chocolate milkshake was thick, sweet, and definitely chocolate overload, just the way I like it :D

Great food, friendly service and convenient location. My first time trying Cahoots after years of driving by. Must stop by for an amazing breakfast/lunch if you're in the area!

This place is amazing. The food was fresh and prepared super quickly, even though the place was packed. The servers were all really nice and attentive, and the amount of food you got for your dollar was shocking. I highly recommend this spot.

Have been eating here since it was Corner Cafe... The service and quality of food is the worst it's ever been! LAST time I was there I tried to order the same three ingredient omelet that I have been getting for years but couldn't because it wasnt on the menu. So instead I had the chicken fried steak and eggs The steak was smaller than my cell phone there appeared to be what looked like one maybe one scrambled egg"s" the gravy was watery and it seemed the sausage in it seemed little undercooked. When I made a comment about the quality of the food, I was asked why I kept coming back? Not exaggerating here! Thats word for word the response I got! . I was shocked to say the least! Guess they don't need my support anymore with that attitude. After all this time.

Such a great little spot in the heart of Oakdale. Great food and good service. Definitely enjoyed our meal and will stop again on our way through.

Tried their French toast stuffed with sweet cream for the first time. I should have known it was going to be delicious. My wife and I can't say enough about the service and quality of our meals here at Cahoots
