"I went to Simer's Threading & Henna Tattos for the first time the other day and I LOVED IT! Where have they been all my life!? I have desperately been seeking a salon that is safely doing eyebrow threading during the pandemic and BOY am I luckily I finally found Simer's place! I had never noticed this threading shop until they posted the signs in the Walmart parking lot and I saw the Chinese folding screen for privacy outside. So, I thought I would give them a chance since almost all the salons are closed right now and I have no idea when I would be able to get my eyebrows threaded next. I am extremely satisfied with how my eyebrows turned out BUT I was more excited to see the amount of safety measures they were taking because of COVID-19. They had an eyebrow station set up outside in the shade under the breezeway with gatorade and everything for the customers! They were also allowing one customer inside at a time as well and both participants had to wear a face mask. When I got my eyebrows threaded with Simer, it wasn't NEARLY as painful as the other places (Shapes Bar in the Visalia Mall) and she talked me through her process on achieving my desired shape. I.e. If I wasn't able to get the shape today she explained I could over time achieve my goal eyebrow shape within a couple visits! Simer is a perfectionist and takes pride in her work like me and I appreciate that! Simer's Threading & Henna Tattoo salon will from now on be my go to place to get my eyebrows threaded! I highly recommend her to anyone who will listen!"

"The BEST comes with a price! I've been to a few Threading places around town and Marcella is by far the only one who has threaded my eyebrows to my liking. She is now available on Vagaro for appointment scheduling (love this APP!). She has also moved from her former location on Alluvial to Salon Fleur de Lis (next door to Trader Joe's in Clovis). ~FYI~Marcella used to offer eyebrow and eyelash tinting. I have gotten my brows tinted by her when I first moved to Fresno over 1 year ago and it looked great! Unfortunately, it is now illegal in California for a Licensed Professional to have eyebrow or lash tint in their possession or in a salon, and to administer tint on or anywhere near the client's eyes. Glad she was honest about this to me for both of our safety. Knocking off 1 star because she was late over 45 minutes when I had scheduled an appointment with her in the past via text. Glad she's on Vagaro now! Definitely recommend her for all your threading needs, I will be back, Thank you Marcella! :)"

"I attended a Yelp event at the clovis location 2 weeks ago and liked how much my eyebrows looked that I decided to maintain the hair growth cycle and come back. This location is a bit closer to me. I arrived at 11:25 AM on a Friday morning and there were about 3 people waiting before me and 3 people receiving services. The wait was pretty quick. I had my eyebrows and and my lip done. This was the first time I had my lip done and it was a bit more painful than the eyebrows (let's be honest) but my skin was fine afterwards. Always ask for the aloe Vera gel afterwards as it soothe and calms. The shop is not as nice looking as the clovis location but it serves the purpose and it's clean. The technician was nice, friendly and was talking with me while I was getting my services done. It was done in a few minutes. I did not know you cannot tip electronically so I ran to Smart and Final to get cash back to leave a tip."

"I came on a Friday at 11:30 am as a walk-in and there was no wait. The technician was friendly and greeted me. I told her I am still kind of new to threading. The experience was very good. The place is really clean and I enjoyed the color scheme of the shop. She first started with a quick trim of my brows then started with the threading. They look really clean and not too thin. I tried to be discrete to snap some photos of the inside but she questioned me for taking photos. I told her the truth that it was for Yelp and she smiled and said "Ohh."The prices are comparable to the last place I went to, $9 brows and $5 lip. The good thing about payment here is that you CAN add tip to your payment. They are open Tues-Sat and closed on Sundays and Mondays. I found my new place. I will be coming back."
