"Delicious, fresh, well cooked with great ingredients! Don't sleep on food from this small kitchen! Pho today was tasty. Service is great and helpful!"
"Quiet store! The space was clean and organized! The service was kind and patient with our kiddos! The food was slow to come out, but that was fine because everything was hot and fresh when it came out. We ordered the pad Thai and yellow curry, and the mango sticky rice for dessert. We will be back!"

"Hidden gem. If you like spicy you'll love the food here. I've had several things but my favorite is the Mongolian beef. Spice on 5 which is a normal 9 lolToday I ordered the basil chicken and again they don't miss. Drunken noodle is a go to. Super small location with tight seating."
"When a Thai restaurant wins for best Thai food in your city seven years in a row, it's a must visit! The restaurant itself has a lived-in feel. A little dated, but cozy. The portions served here are huge and perfect for sharing. We ordered our food for pick up and when we got home, it was still piping hot! We had the drunken noodles, fried shrimp, and red curry with chicken and shrimp. The drunken noodles were delicious. Still al dente with the sauce infused into the noodle and tossed with fresh veggies and chicken. A classic dish that's one of my kids and my wife's favorites.I prefer a spicy and went with their med heat red curry with chicken and shrimp. I was surprised to see that it didn't come with rice. I feel like this is a restaurant to restaurant decision, with some places adding for free and others charging. The curry was "slur pworthy" with its deep rich flavors and perfect amount of heat. I would have loved to have rice to soak up every last bit of this curry, but there's always next time.Even though we got our order to go, the employees here were super happy and quick to get our order. I definitely wanna eat in House next time just based off the table sized portions versus to go portions."
"The food was excellent! It's was all a 10. The service was great super friendly and attentive. Stuffed chicken wings all time favorite! The ambiance was nice! Thank you!"
"Love this place, have not been here since they were in their old location in downtown. The ambiance is wonderful, and the chef was jamming to old school NB Ryders Music! Awesome like stepping back into my high school days! The service was excellent as it has been, it was been a few years since I ate here but this time around brought the family to enjoy some delicious food. The food selection's are plentiful, choices of Pho, curry, spicy rice, etc. You truly cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. We had the shrimp and chicken rolls, Thai Tea, chicken curry, sea food Pho, and spicy rice! Yummy!"
"The sister and I came to Noodle Express as the dude and I always go to the Lincoln right next door and always wondered trying this place out. So on my day off the sister and I went on her lunch break. It was a lot of fun trying this place out and we were surprise how delicious and flavorful the food is.I usually gauge a place by the salt dispensers and if it's GONE GONE that's a sign that the food isn't tasty but their salt dispensers were FULL. No need for anything extra added as everything was seasoned with love and perfection. Our server was very kind and sweet. Made sure we had everything we needed. We arrived around 12:15 and out by 12:50pm definitely a place to go if you have a hour lunch or even a 30 minute lunch as the food came out HOT. FRESH. And QUICK. Affordable prices and disappointed I haven't got their food since as I am always in the area due to work or just entertainment ;). Such a gem! They have plethora of vegetarian options. The fried tofu is delicious...well everything is. I can't wait to come back here !"
"I'm going to be honest, I was very excited to try this place. I just moved here from Wa state and took a friend here for a birthday dinner. She wanted Chinese food, but there weren't any places open so I suggested Vietnamese because it's my favorite Asian cuisine. Unfortunately, it was not good. The food was not good at all. The "sweet and sour" sauce tasted like sugary ketchup. The chow mein and fried rice had no flavor. I had to add so many sauces to it to make it edible. Even sriracha didn't help much. Even the eggrolls weren't good. I felt really bad that I had brought my friend to this place because she doesn't have much experience with ethnic food and this was definitely not the experience I wanted to give her. The service wasn't horrible and the people working weren't rude, although definitely could have been better. I won't be coming here again."
"This place is 10/10Every dish I've tried is delicious! They get crazy busy, parking can be a serious issue, but worth it!My favorites are the yellow curry with chicken and a side of sticky rice."
"10/25/24Hot and New! Must try! Getting lunch! I had issues calling it in in, but they have it to where you can order through Clover. Convenient! I ordered the Khai Piak chicken noodle soup and shrimp spring rolls. Paid for it on Clover & went to pick it up. Arrived. It's right next to Express Mart & 76 gas station. Small wait and greeted by kind worker. Let her know the number to call in wasn't working. Wrong number on Yelp. She appreciated me letting her know and the order was handed over.Lunchtime! Khai Piak chicken noodle soup1/2 with the spicy sauce included was Really Great. Spicy with a good amount of chicken & thick, tasty noodles! Shrimp spring roll was Great too! Fresh & tasty and even better with the dipping sauces included!Mother Saadi her half was Great! She loved the thick noodles & thought the shrimp sprung rolls were Great too! Definitely enough to split. Good service & GREAT lunch!Highly recommended!!"
"It is very modern and cute inside! It is in the smaller side. I preordered my dish. When I picked up they were very welcoming. I was told my order was almost done. I asked for fish sauce and chile and dry chile flakes. As I sat at the bar my food was ready but no one informed me. They seemed very busy with togo orders from Door dash. When I got home I did not get any of the sauces, toppings I asked for. The food was very flavorful and a good portion. I recommend checking your order if you are ordering out but I would love to try and eat in. Services looked on point."
"The service is food is on point. I don't eat papaya salad at all but their Thai papaya salad is AMAZING! So far, this location is my favorite go to spot for Lao food. Their pho is ok, the Kasoy is good and lots of good food in the menu."

The trifectaaaaa! Lao, thai, and Vietnamese food?! Say less, I'm in. Located inside of VBC, towards the back you will find the counter to order. Portion sizes are generous and you can share; not to mention very affordable. I would say cash is the preferred payment method but they do offer Zelle, Venmo, Apple Pay and cash app. Service was good. Food did take some time to come out but just grab a drink and chit chat and by the time you know it, the food will be there. They offer spice level 1-5 and we got everything a 2-3 and it was flavorful and not overly spicy. chicken and rice to start us off. 10/10 Delicious, hot, and the sauce on the side was very flavorful. Would honestly say it's better than lady's chicken and rice and I love that place. Spicy chicken noodles and pad thai.Packed with flavor and made with love. If you're in the area I highly recommend this place for some good food. Will be back and try different things next time.

U-D Thai is a south of Shaw gem with its authentic, mouth watering Thai dishes, served by friendly staff at an incredibly reasonable price! We ordered the pineapple fried rice, pad Thai, Panang curry, vege egg rolls and crab ragoon. Every dish was DELICIOUS. My only regret is not asking for more of the flavor-packed sauce that accompanied the egg rolls. The panang curry had a nice kick and not overly spicy at the mild spice level; I would recommend medium if you know how to handle your heat. The restaurant had plenty of seating, including a large table for a larger party and was impressively clean. Our total bill was $56 and fed the 4 of us well! We look forward to many more meals at U-D Thai!

I was traveling through Fresno and found a great Thai restaurant hole in the wall by my hotel near the airport. If your in the area you can't go wrong with there serving quantity and wonderful flavors and spices! My eyes are still watering. Before I forget you must order their coconut frozen drink. Cheers to all and enjoy!Ronn just Ronn The hole in the wall food guy.

Got there when they first opened in the afternoon and there was a line out the door . The service was awesome. The people were super friendly. I ordered my super fresh food. It came in 12 to 15 minutes. The eggrolls were delicious. The rice dish was awesome. The beef skewers were awesome. I would recommend this place.

I usually come here on Mondays for lunch. A very nice way to start the week. Jen is a gem here! She's so personable and knows the menu to help you make a great decision. You're a superstar! The customer service, the food, the ambiance is amazing. I get the lunch pad Thai at a level 5 and the heat is perfect. The service is perfect here. The entire staff makes the experience. Overall, I love this place. Come in and enjoy amazing food!

We found this spot looking for Thai off the 99. It was a small cute little spot right in the corner. My sister ordered the spring rolls and chicken pad Thai. I ordered the egg rolls and the beef bad Thai. I thought the egg rolls were delicious and she really liked the spring rolls. The pad Thai was good but a little, I don't want to say slimy because that's a weird visual but that's the only word I can think of. The pad Thai was a 7/10. The service was great. She was very friendly and attentive. Overall it was a great experience with some good last minute food!

"Craving Thai food for dinner. My husband and I stopped by. First time here, thought they were the other Thai Gem place that heard great things about but for some reason is never open. Came and was greeted. Was told we could sit anywhere. Was given the menu and drinks order taken. There's so many options on their menu to choose from. I was craving my usual red curry and papaya salad. Ordered eggrolls as apps, my husband ordered larb and we got chicken fried rice for our toddler. The owner was the one who took our order. He was very nice and said he was in business for about 45 years and everything is made fresh to order. Food came out fast and hot. Everything was delicious. The red curry I ordered was one of the best I've had I could taste the coconut milk and brought so much childhood memories. The papaya salad Thai style was perfect, strangely my husband thought it was too spicy (when he eats more spice than I do) but I thought it was just right. The chicken fried rice was good too. Would Thai food and the owner was very kind. Highly recommend and will be returning."
"First visit & I honestly can't wait to return soon! Went here on an early Saturday evening prior to a Fresno State Football game in a group of 3 friends, and I instantly fell in love with this place! John was insanely helpful, kind, informative with the menu, explaining ingredients, and modifications available. I devoured the Pad Si Ew with Tofu, rice, and enjoyed some freshly prepared sauces. He even brought out some different textured delicious fried tofu to try with amazing different sauces. Now I've had fried tofu at about 10 different restaurants recently, this was perfection! Crisp on the outside, fresh, hot, and soft, like a marshmallow inside! Blew me away! My friends enjoyed their spring rolls and meal as well. They make everything fresh to order, and I was so pleased with their Vegan options too. I was very content, full, but it wasn't that heavy feel- just satisfied happiness! The vibe inside is very chill, comfy basic chairs, big digital menu, and another screen showing lovely musicians. They said they just opened in May, and I'm sooo hoping everyone goes on over to patron this well run, quality food, awesomed portioned, fantastic business run by the sweetest people! We got to meet additional staff members as we dined, and we felt like family. I highly recommend Thai Taste, well done!"
"This is now my favorite restaurant in the entire Central Valley. As a vegetarian who is also gf, this is a perfect choice. There are many delicious dishes and many can be made gf. They serve Thai, Laotian and Vietnamese. I had the vegetarian pho, salt and pepper tofu and got an order of spicy noodles to go which I consumed within hours. I LOVE this place. Couple of things for them to look at -- make sure your gf items come gf -- they did switch out an order for me, and also, it can take a while to be seated as they are very popular."
"It's not located on the best part of town, but Lotus Kitchen is worth finding for good authentic Thai food. Everything was delicious. I was there with a group of co-workers and everyone had something different and everyone said their dish was great. If you go here, try something different, you won't be sorry."
"I was craving Thai food and decided to give this place a shot as I'd never been, and had seen great reviews. I'm going to be honest I left this place knowing I wouldn't be back. The service is super friendly so 10/10 for that, but the food was over priced for the quality of food, and not something I'd have again. The spring roll had a piece of chicken in each one measuring the size of my pinky finger. It might as well have been a veggie spring roll. I only ate half of a spring roll I didn't care for the sauce it was served with it. The dish lacked major flavor. The first bite I took of my noodles was not bad, but as I kept eating all I could taste was oil. Will just say I left most of the food behind and ended up feeling a little sick."
"One of my favorite quick lunch stops during the work week. They have both ready to go and made to order food. I stick to whatever they have in the hot case- usually the sticky rice and chicken. It's always super hot and fresh and comes with a packet of a spicy paste. I've also tried the fried rice and chow mein plates which are equally delicious. I've also ordered a party tray of 30 eggrolls for about $35 which is a steal. All of their food is very affordable. It's not a typical sit down restaurant, more of a quick eats type of place. However, they do offer some indoor and outdoor seating."
"Good flavors with general portions. Noodles didn't stay intact when cooked. The restaurant is very spacious and I think they also hold events. Overall I would return if I was nearby with a Thai craving, but would not go out of my way for it."
"PULL THE DOOR HARD! Worth a special detour! Fantastic spring rolls, pad Thai, and Thai iced tea!! They just opened last week and the service was very attentive. Felt like we were lucky guests at someone's family kitchen. Thank you for a wonderful post-backpacking feast!!"
"Delicious to the very last bite. Visit with my coworkers for lunch and seated right a way. Waiter took our orders, professional and was very attentive. The restaurant has a Japanese decor as expected, tables are adjustable to accommodate large parties. The combo rice deserves repeat visits as we order to share when we come to eat.."
"I've been to Thai Thai before and got the Pad See Ew and crispy shrimp rolls and both were delicious! This time I tried the pineapple curry and OH. MY GOD!! Soooo freaking good! I don't like pineapple on my pizza cuz I don't like hot pineapple so I was a little apprehensive but this pineapple curry was AMAZING! It's a pretty big serving too so I was able to take the other half home and make a whole another meal the next day! What was REALLY nice was the curry came with a side of rice for FREE! Everyone else always charges for a side of rice! I really appreciate that! Great customer service, amazing prices and the food was incredible! Can we talk about the awesome prices!? I got the crab Rangoon, pineapple curry, and hot tea and my total was ONLY $26! If Thai Thai was in Visalia it would be a problem because I would be there at LEAST once a week! Can't wait to go back and work my way through the menu! 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!"
"First time trying this place since it changed over. Staff were nice & food was delicious. Orders came out without a long wait.Jerky was thin & easy to eat. My date killed the cucumber salad lol Apparently, she liked the pa dek in it. I thought the salad had a hint of sweetness to it. Tom Yum soup was spicy yet soothing. Pork belly was easy to eat as they were cut as smaller pieces. Skin layer could've been crispier. We'll be back next time we have a craving for Lao food."
"This is a total hole in the wall type of restaurant. But the food is absolutely amazing. My husband got the fried chicken and was in love with it.Service leaves a little bit to be desired, and the restaurant doesn't feel incredibly clean. However, for takeout I think it's awesome."
"Was looking for plant based / vegan options in visalia and came across this. The pictures of the large white menu are the most recent. Items you may find online they no longer make, like orange tofu. Ordered fried tofu appetizer, fried rice with tofu (no animal products), pad see ew (no animal products), pad kra paw, and mango sticky rice. They kindly asked if we wanted all dishes without animal products- made it so easy. They estimated our pick order would take about 30 minutes. It was ready in almost 30 minutes on the dot."
"Food was fresh and ready promptly. Inside was very clean and quite. There are multiple tables to eat in or you can take it togo. The gentleman that took my order was very helpful and polite. I can't wait to come back. The food.... Delicious!!"
"This is only half of my meal. I ate half of it while driving to Work. The pork belly was very crispy and the dip was very tasty. I do recommend this place. Definitely satisfied my craving."
"2/14/24 Getting lunch for tomorrow! Shrimp spring rolls & Pad Se Ew with extra chicken ordered. Made spicy. The worker was very nice! Arrived to pick it up. Small little place. Safe & clean. The worker was masked and very kind! Paid for the order & wished a good night. Appreciated! 2/15/24Lunchtime!Order split! Shrimp spring roll was Fresh & Really DELICIOUS! Great shrimp with noodles & veggies jn it. Flavorful side sauce too! Pad Se Ew was Great! Nice spicy kick, fresh veggies, good amount of chicken & Delicious, thick, noodles! I'm sure mother will feel the same when she has hers! Definitely more than 1 meal. Large amount. Lots of leftovers! Great service & Delicious, Great lunch! Highly recommended!"
"I came here on a ladies lunch date. We walked in around 1:00 pm on a Friday. Their dining area is a decent size for a smaller scale restaurant. They also had upgraded their restroom so now there's a separate male and female restroom. For food, I ordered the Mee Ka Tee while the other ladies ordered Lao fried rice with sour pickled sausages, papaya salad, Tom yum shrimp soup, and Num Yua Beef salad. Everything was delicious! But the top winning savory dishes are the papaya salad, Num Yua Beef Salad, and Lao fried rice with sour pickles sausages. The service was great, too. The waitress was a middle aged lady and she checked on us after taking our orders. She also kindly refilled our water more than three times as we ended up staying there for a couple of hours even after finishing our food."
"This food is absolutely delicious. We order fried rice , egg rolls and pho beef and Thai tea.Service was outstanding! We will definitely be back."
"The food is consistently delicious! Hands down the best Asian restaurant in Porterville! We're so lucky to have an authentic Thai food like this!!!"
"What a great place. Amazing food and the lady is so nice. We have been here a few times and have tried numerous dishes and all of them are delicious."
"5 Stars from the time I walked in. Friendly staff, Amazing food, Very clean restaurant. Thank you Johnny for the kind and attentive service. I tried 4 different dishes and all were amazing. Super Delicious! This is a must go if you're in Merced."
"Pho Lao Vieng is a great spot if you're craving authentic Thai, Laotian, or Vietnamese food. The atmosphere is super casual. it feels like a true mom-and-pop shop. It's not fancy or modern, and honestly, that's how you know the food is going to be legit. The portions were way bigger than I expected, which was awesome. I got the fried pork, pho, and khao poon, and all of them were really good. Big portions don't mean they skimp on quality here. everything was flavorful and satisfying.Prices are fair, and the staff is friendly. If you're looking for authentic Southeast Asian dishes and don't mind a more down-to-earth vibe, this place is worth checking out!"
"Place is small and quaint so if you wanna go there for lunch,/ dinner hours go a little early. I love eating Thai food fresh at the restaurant it's just not the same when you take it home but to each own .Service is good place is always clean. I always have to special request my meal due to dietary restrictions, and they always accommodate super nice about it too. I hadn't been in a while so it was nice to see that they're still consistent. Consistency is the key."
