"This is the second time I ate here. This time the rice was cooked perfectly and everything was great. We wanted to try the Dubai chocolate which is what brought us in. I think next time I would get the chicken kabob dinner option as it comes on a kabob and I feel would be more flavorful and juicy that way and then just share it since it is a large portion. The kids are picky so daughter had cheeseburger which she said was good and other use the coconut shrimp and absolutely loved it. Definitely will be coming back."
"Claimed as the best poke in Fresno. I was curious to see how great it is. Besides, it's BYOB so if it's not very good, it's probably all my fault. I mean the biggest thing is having fresh ingredients and a good selection. I feel like both of these boxes are checked. One of the things I like the most is the way that the cucumber is diced instead of sliced. It gives a really nice texture and the sauces that I chose did a good job helping flavor the bowl. I also can't complain about the portions and scoops that were given. I'm not overly impressed with the scoop size, but it was decent. It was also curious to see other menu options. I'm kind of used to just walking in to a poke place and getting poke. If you didn't know, poke is a Hawaiian dish and it means to be cut sideways. It was originally cubes of raw fish similar to Japanese Tataki. it's interesting how it's morph to be what it is today and popping up in places like Fresno. For example, butterfish, offers teriyaki, beef, teriyaki, chicken, Katsu, fried chicken, and shrimp. They have a Thai bowl, a Japanese style, and a California style. It's also crazy to see bacon, fried rice, gluten-free kelp, noodles, and super greens as a base. It's almost a little bit more than poke where it becomes a chicken bowl, beef, bowl, salmon bowl BYOB. A lot like a pan, Asian inspired, chipotle. all positive."
"My youngest devoured the wings. She over them. The beet salad was good, especially if you enjoy beets. The salmon was well cooked, except for one side on the end that seemed to have gotten a bit extra salt. Garlic fries smelled and tasted delicious. Service was great as well!"
"I can't stop recommending this place to my friends!I made the reservation and stated it is for hubby's birthday, and they customized the menu with his name on top wishing him a happy birthday. When we arrived, they sat us down by the fireplace. It was so perfect and romantic. We chose the 3-course set, but they provided an appetizer from the culinary team before the first course, and a homemade bread in between the first and second course. The bread was a little crispy outside and fluffy inside. I couldn't stop eating.Every course was just flavorful and creative. They claim their style is French-Californian, but I suspect that they add a little Japanese style in their cuisine as well. Just subtle and beautiful.I especially like their warm hospitality. They surprised us with two chocolate tarts and a candle to celebrate hubby's birthday. We feel welcomed and cared for. We will definitely come back. It was a very special and memorable experience."
"Came on a Saturday around 1pm with my fiancée.Was greeted by the host, and was seated right away. There was ample seating in the dining room and bar area.We ordered Legends Tri-tip Sandwich, with Garlic fries and added the Ghost Pepper Mac N Cheese side. And WOW! The tri-tip was delicious! The consistency of the tri-tip was not too chewy, and they add a lot of meat to the sandwich! The garlic fries were DELICIOUS. It was nicely seasoned and had a good crisp to it.The Ghost Pepper Mac N Cheese is a must have side. The pasta is Cavatappi which isn't what I'm used to for a Mac n cheese but definitely a nice surprise. And it was ooey gooey and so cheesy! I would come here again if I happen to be in the area!"
"I appreciate the larger menu options available now. Still clean with lots of seating. Nice staff and great location."
"Dang I'm getting such a good run of places I've tried lately. Came here for dinner and sat at the bar to do some work. Tochel, was super friendly and inviting. The esthetic of this place from when you enter is just stunning. Not over the top but just enough!Started with a cucumber mocktail and ordered deviled eggs to start with. The eggs were delicious! I forgot what's in them but they had like a candied pickled jalapeño that was just divine! Then I tried the strawberry fields salad! Sooooo good drool worthy. Delicious dressing along with mixed greens, juicy strawberries, plump blue berries, with blue cheese and candied walnuts! Can't wait to have this salad again when I'm in town again. By the time I finished the salad I barely could eat my C.A.B steak and masked potatoes. I did have a couple pieces and a bite of the potatoes and it was cooked to perfection! I'm not usually a fan of left overs but I was more than happy to take it to go. I then wanted to try the chocolate cake and a glass of milk. I was there for a long time so I took my time for each thing I tried. Tochel, again made my experience so memorable and invited me back and let me know about a Valentine's Day special they're having on the 8th. I won't be able to join but will keep a look out on what they have next in the future."
"Happy New Year! We had the pleasure of celebrating New Year's Eve together by dining at Bistro 234. Luckily we had made reservations because they were very busy. The atmosphere was festive with couples and larger groups dressed to celebrate the end of another year.We were seated promptly and proceeded to order pre-dinner cocktails. I then ordered the spinach salad and my husband had the meatballs as our starters. Very good! For dinner I selected the sea bass which was a special and am I glad I did! I absolutely LOVE sea bass and will almost always order it if it is available. This sea bass was served on top of a risotto with asparagus. Divine! My husband had the short ribs which he raved about. Even though we were both pretty full from our meals, we split the tiramisu for dessert which is always a treat! Our server Shawn was a delight. So friendly yet very professional and efficient. We did not have to wait long between courses which was nice. Bistro 234 is one of our favorite places to dine especially when we are celebrating a special occasion or just want a nice date night venue. We can't wait until our next visit!"
"Love it! I ordered their original hot chicken sandwich with a tender, and my partner ordered just the original hot chicken sandwich. They both come with fries. Value-wise, adding a tender is definitely worth it.Flavor-wise, the sandwich looks better than any you can get from a fast food chain, and it was incredibly moist. I had a medium spice level, and it was absolutely delicious. The service was awesome; however, some of the dine-in booth tables were a bit greasy. It would be nice if they cleaned up every time after a customer used them."
"This location is one of our favorites in our rotation... We always enjoy the atmosphere, the food and drinks, and Alex always takes great care of us. This place seems to have a lot of regulars that are really nice. If you like to go out to watch sports, this place is always a solid option."

Wow, what a great experience! I had made reservations for a birthday dinner on a Friday night. I was a little nervous not knowing what to expect since it was my first time dinning at Dewz. For food, we ordered a Brie and two pasta dishes along with drinks. The Brie was simply amazing. I loved the combo with the strawberry puree and the pistachios. It had a creamy, sweet but crunchy taste to it. The pastas were good as well. Mine had a chili oil base to it whereas my bf had a beef broth to it. The drinks had the right amount of alcohol but not overly sweet either. Service was good too. Water was always constantly served and our waitress would explain everything that was in our dishes including options for desserts. One thing that caught me off guard is they will fold your napkin for you if you were to leave it sorta in a balled up status if you go use the bathroom. Def fancy fancy The interior has an intimate atmosphere to it with its dim lighting and dark furniture coloring. Good option to take someone for a special occasion, or maybe first date (if you want to give a great impression lol). This place is pricey so expect to spend somewhere near the 3 digits to 4 digits amount. My one take away is for what you are paying for, I kinda wished they gave a little complementary birthday cake. Even if it's bite sized. Overall, I would definitely come back again, only on a special occasion though.

We've been regulars of Max's for years and this is one of my favorite restaurants. The atmosphere is nice and service is usually excellent. They display Tomas paintings throughout the restaurant giving it a very unique art gallery feel. My go to orders are the Max's burger, salmon salad, Chinese chicken salad and grilled cheese sandwich which comes with soup and salad. They also have a Bahn Mi sandwich that is delicious and daily specials.

I love coming here for their lamb chops. good staff and amazing food. I do wish their dessert display on the counter was more appealing. I'd probably take the entire box . Haha

After they made some changes to their bowls, things got a lot better. The service has tightened up and they have the most personable staff who greet you at every part of the process. I've grown to love the outdoor seating given the weather. It can be noisy because of Friant but the patio is the perfect spot in evenings to have a quick bite and watch the sky as the sun sets.

Erna's Elderberry House, Oakhurst: 2024 Jun 27 (4 of 5)Since our move to this part of the woods, we've visited this place a good number of times. We always bring guests from the Bay Area because of their unique concept to this area and the great ambience. Our recent guests are from the San Francisco Bay Area and are well-seasoned diners and travelers so their expectations were high. Unfortunately, our pride for this establishment was diminished when we dined there recently. Overall, the staff came off as a bit obsequious and unauthentic. As for the food courses, there was a 'sameness' to each course. Several dishes were overly salted. Though most of the dish presentations were beautiful, some were presented on what looked like a petri dish - which reminded us of our science project at school. The courses with foam seem a bit passé. We're not falling back to the 90's.I want to boast to everyone about this opulent establishment, but I can honestly say I'm rather disappointed and can only garner a high 3 (although I'm honoring it with a 4). On top of that, there was a 22% service charge added to our bill, plus the long delay from one dish to the next was excruciating painful to bear. Because of our recent experience, even their Laguiole flatware and extra treats failed to impress.

The building looked absolutely amazing when I arrived... after turning on Split Pea Boulevard, I was wondering what that was about... got into the restaurant and guess what their soup special is : Split Pea ;-)Interior of the restaurant has many Hans Christian Andersen and other Nordic references... very neat... they are subtle... but everywhere.I was seated quickly, asked if I wanted something to drink which I was promptly served. I ordered my lunch for dine in and dinner to go (out of town on a business trip).I ordered my drink to go with my lunch and barely got my drink served and lunch already arrived. The French dip was absolutely wondeful!!! Baguette nicely toasted, tri tip thinly sliced so it was melt in your mouth tender and a properly reduced Au Jus.I ordered Cole slaw with it to keep the carbs down... the flavor was good just a bit overdressed for my liking.Definitely a place I will come back to when in the area!

*disclaimer: this place is pretty good*This kinda midAs I continue to absolutely demolish this spicy katsu bowl, sparing no time to breathe and realizing half way that I need to take a picture. I love the seating here and the fish aesthetic is amazing. I love sitting at the booths and gossiping about the most recent news. The servers were always nice and helpful. Would recommend

"The most amazing waffles I've ever had! Visiting from San Luis Obispo. Wish we had one there!"
"First time coming in to eat! This place was very clean, seemed as though it was a new spot, turns out they have been open for about 3yrs. The food was delicious it was light and fresh tasting not heavy at all. Service was great she was so nice and attentive. The only complaint I had was the coffee I had was not good at all. I drank half just to get some caffeine in me, but could not finish it no matter how many creams I would put into the coffee. Will definitely be back and bring the hubs and parents. The food is locally sourced it says that in the menu which is very cool to know."
"Great sports bar with lots of TVs serving up American and Mexican food. They have happy hour specials posted outside and it looked pretty good but we went in for breakfast. The waitress was very nice, friendly, and attentive. Looks like a fun place to watch a game and get a drink. The music playing in the background was great too. The food was standard with good portions."
"I love the burger deal and fries it's yummy! Gonna come back to try there ice cream next time"
"While visiting my grandma, my aunt called and told us we should check out the new Willie's location for brunch. My grandma liked the food but not the atmosphere at the old location, so we were both excited to try their new spot. We're now two fans of Willie's and will recommend it to other friends and family in the area.Willie's Cafe is a perfect neighborhood restaurant serving the Reedley community. Their new location is spacious, friendly, clean, and homey with fun decor. There's ample booth seating and a bigger room in the back for larger parties. Most diners are local and repeat customers. We found the service to be fast but not personable. We came for the food, and we both left full and satisfied! Willie's serves American and Mexican fare. I had the Machaca Chicken with Hash Browns, and my grandma had the Waffle Combo. The Machaca was well seasoned, the hot salsa added more flavor and kick, and the portions were giant. My grandma loves waffles and loves her combination. We both took our leftovers to go. Willie's is our new favorite restaurant in Reedley and will be on repeat anytime I visit her. I highly recommend this spot to anyone in the surrounding area. Their new location is on G Street, and ample parking is outside."
"I love all of the healthy choices at Urbane Cafe! My favorite dish is the salmon bowl, but they also offer other options, such as sandwiches, salads, and soups. The cilantro torta and southwest are two of my sandwich go-to's. My son loves their cookies and flavored lemonades. The kids' menu has plenty of great options that kids will actually eat!The staff at this location is amazing. They are always very friendly and helpful."
"Fast paced with great service and no nonsense dining. Great coffee and diner type food. Great place to eat!"
"I've been coming here a few times alone the last week or so. I had the sweet potato fries and they were really good. I think her name is Toni? She is very nice and my drinks were good. All of the bartenders are really nice. The security guards are nice. Good place for a drink ."
"Had an amazing side salad that is actually a main course! So fresh and so delicious! The service is is fast and considerate. It's always a pleasure to eat here. Dessert is always an option and they tend to be very yummy as well!"
"This was my first time going to a brunch and let me tell you, I was very pleased! The music, the staff, and the guests showed exactly why the place is called Vibez! the food was so delicious too I would love to experience that again. The mimosas were amazing, just make sure to drink lots of water cause I felt it the next day for sure."
"Very good homemade authentic Mexican food . Served fast, fresh and hot. Everyone here is very nice and again the food and service is great . We will be returning often. Seating and decor is acceptable and clean."
"I really like the lady who is here during the day super nice makes a good pie. Always grab one if I'm in the area"
"A great place to dine before going to the Gallo Center which is a block away. We had an amazing meal here! The Shrimp Bruschetta was so delicious. My husband really enjoyed the Ribeye with Gorgonzola and Mushrooms with mashed potatoes. I had the Salmon and Shrimp with roasted zucchini and red potatoes and lemon caper sauce. Loved it! Hats off to the chef! They have a bar. They could add more wine options though. They also have Jazz every other Monday."
"Our favorite restaurant in town!!! We love their posole and it's our go to item. We've tried other dishes and they don't disappoint. Authentic and prices are reasonable. Restaurant is always clean and customer service is 100 plus. In the evenings it does get busy and food takes a little longer to get so be patient. Trust me it's worth giving this place a shot."
"Food is great and service is great. Marissa is amazing. Always friendly and attentive. The food is great and they just remodeled the place and it looks great!"
"We came to Wildfire for lunch while returning to the Bay Area from Visalia. Its a nondescript building from the outside near a residential area. Inside, its a dark, but lively sports bar with plenty of booth seating. Nowhere near as loud or packed as Doghouse Grill in Fresno. The food and service were both great. Their fire chicken wings were so good we got another order to go for dinner. Well-seasoned, moist meat and smoky. The other solid dish is the mushroom pizza. Our son wasn't a fan of the kid's chicken tenders, so that turned into our appetizer. He, like most kids, loved the crispy french fries. The Alfredo Penne Pasta was good for us, but a bit too rich and heavy for our son.Definitely would return again if visiting the area. They seem to have a pretty good drink menu and the food here is legit. Those wings are definitely top-tier."
"This place is great! It's your traditional breakfast, served quickly and as you like it. I got the corned beef hash, extra crispy with scrambled eggs and hash browns. This plate comes with a a side of toast or biscuits and gravy. It's a LOT of food. The restaurant gets busy fast so keep that in mind."
"Food and service here is great. We got the same great server two weekends in a row and her name is Summer. She's was great, sweet and attentive and especially helpful with all the menu items. Last weekend we came for brunch and I got the smothered breakfast burrito, it's better than your typical breakfast burrito and the leftovers warmed up nicely. It's a definitely a favorite. My husband loves the fish and chips & got it two weekends in a row. Today I tried the candied bacon grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup, that too very delicious and another fave! I also really love the pot roast dinner. Actually, I've tried a lot of other dishes here and I loved them all! No complaints. Especially love the maple smoked bacon old-fashioned cocktail and always love the yummy mimosas too."
"Aaaaaaabsolutely I recommend this place!I guess all the reviews were not wrong. Everything was great from the service to the tasty food. The ordering part was odd because you need to grab a menu outside then bring in while you order, but other than that, everything was great. I highly recommend it."
