"We got here on a Sunday around 9am and it was busy, but after a quick 10-minute wait we were seated. Every brunch pro knows, when there's a wait to be seated that's when you scope the menu and get order ready. I ordered the hotel California Benedict, which was 100% shareable, and topped with chorizo hash with avocado, fried eggs, and blackened aioli all on a grilled english muffin. To say it was delicious would be an understatement! The spicy chorizo paired with creamy aioli worked perfectly, but then to add a runny eggs... hubba hubba! All of the rich flavors combined with crunchy texture of the English muffin sealed the deal for me. My kids loved their kids chocolate chip pancake and bacon plates. My son ate all of his pancake and was asking for more. My wife got a half order of the Tom Sawyer Benedict. The Tom Sawyer is a classic benedict. Thick Canadian bacon, fried eggs and hollandaise sauce on a grilled english muffin. This was very good too and their hollandaise is on point! The portion sizes here are massive, so the option to get half order is a game changer. It also reduces the price of your meal, score! This is a return visit for sure. Next time I'm getting the biscuit and gravy bowl!"
"I am giving 4 stars based on the service and my husband's Chimichurri Steak. We were a large party so the waitress did well with keeping up on us. They were out of a bunch of beers so that was disappointing but we got over it because we aren't picky and like trying new things. I ordered the Balsamic Chicken. The portion was huge and filling but the chicken was pretty dry. The potatoes and veggies it came with were good. The steak was VERY good! My husband orders his at med-rare and I usually don't like that but I could have eaten the whole thing. I'm getting that next time :)"

"I really like the lady who is here during the day super nice makes a good pie. Always grab one if I'm in the area"
"I'm not a fan of this place. The service isn't great. Nobody seems to have a good attitude or like their job working there. Every time I've gone in (because my mom likes it) it always takes forever just to get service. Took us 30 min just to get drinks today or even a waiter come to our table. We had to wave someone down. The food is overpriced when it's just mediocre. Nothing special about the food. There are so many better places."
"Dang I'm getting such a good run of places I've tried lately. Came here for dinner and sat at the bar to do some work. Tochel, was super friendly and inviting. The esthetic of this place from when you enter is just stunning. Not over the top but just enough!Started with a cucumber mocktail and ordered deviled eggs to start with. The eggs were delicious! I forgot what's in them but they had like a candied pickled jalapeño that was just divine! Then I tried the strawberry fields salad! Sooooo good drool worthy. Delicious dressing along with mixed greens, juicy strawberries, plump blue berries, with blue cheese and candied walnuts! Can't wait to have this salad again when I'm in town again. By the time I finished the salad I barely could eat my C.A.B steak and masked potatoes. I did have a couple pieces and a bite of the potatoes and it was cooked to perfection! I'm not usually a fan of left overs but I was more than happy to take it to go. I then wanted to try the chocolate cake and a glass of milk. I was there for a long time so I took my time for each thing I tried. Tochel, again made my experience so memorable and invited me back and let me know about a Valentine's Day special they're having on the 8th. I won't be able to join but will keep a look out on what they have next in the future."
"Welcome Yelpies !!! The menu is nice and simple yet the choices will entice you to figure out what drink to go with such an amazing menu. Don't worry the staff will lead you in the right direction. I couldn't believe I was eating at a hotel. The indoor seating was nice but man the outdoor seating is amazing. Get in here and enjoy"
"Food and service here is great. We got the same great server two weekends in a row and her name is Summer. She's was great, sweet and attentive and especially helpful with all the menu items. Last weekend we came for brunch and I got the smothered breakfast burrito, it's better than your typical breakfast burrito and the leftovers warmed up nicely. It's a definitely a favorite. My husband loves the fish and chips & got it two weekends in a row. Today I tried the candied bacon grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup, that too very delicious and another fave! I also really love the pot roast dinner. Actually, I've tried a lot of other dishes here and I loved them all! No complaints. Especially love the maple smoked bacon old-fashioned cocktail and always love the yummy mimosas too."
"Came on a Saturday around 1pm with my fiancée.Was greeted by the host, and was seated right away. There was ample seating in the dining room and bar area.We ordered Legends Tri-tip Sandwich, with Garlic fries and added the Ghost Pepper Mac N Cheese side. And WOW! The tri-tip was delicious! The consistency of the tri-tip was not too chewy, and they add a lot of meat to the sandwich! The garlic fries were DELICIOUS. It was nicely seasoned and had a good crisp to it.The Ghost Pepper Mac N Cheese is a must have side. The pasta is Cavatappi which isn't what I'm used to for a Mac n cheese but definitely a nice surprise. And it was ooey gooey and so cheesy! I would come here again if I happen to be in the area!"
"The staff at the cowpunchers saloon really treated my wife and I so well. We stopped in after our dinner reservation at a nearby restaurant were not honored (Dutch frontier closed and didn't bother to tell us after we had reservations booked 6 weeks in advance). Cowpunchers was so packed we couldn't be seated but they accommodated us at the bar seating and went above and beyond to make our night special. Definitely great food and great people here at cowpunchers. Shame on the Dutch Frontier owners for treating us so terribly with no apologies or forewarning."
"I can't stop recommending this place to my friends!I made the reservation and stated it is for hubby's birthday, and they customized the menu with his name on top wishing him a happy birthday. When we arrived, they sat us down by the fireplace. It was so perfect and romantic. We chose the 3-course set, but they provided an appetizer from the culinary team before the first course, and a homemade bread in between the first and second course. The bread was a little crispy outside and fluffy inside. I couldn't stop eating.Every course was just flavorful and creative. They claim their style is French-Californian, but I suspect that they add a little Japanese style in their cuisine as well. Just subtle and beautiful.I especially like their warm hospitality. They surprised us with two chocolate tarts and a candle to celebrate hubby's birthday. We feel welcomed and cared for. We will definitely come back. It was a very special and memorable experience."
"I love all of the healthy choices at Urbane Cafe! My favorite dish is the salmon bowl, but they also offer other options, such as sandwiches, salads, and soups. The cilantro torta and southwest are two of my sandwich go-to's. My son loves their cookies and flavored lemonades. The kids' menu has plenty of great options that kids will actually eat!The staff at this location is amazing. They are always very friendly and helpful."
"During my first visit, I was impressed by the interactive chalkboard pillars inside the restaurant, which my daughter particularly enjoyed. It's safe to say that we'll be returning in the future, and here's why. The customer service and employee interaction were excellent. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, and the staff was prepared to assist with any inquiries.I had a wonderful dining experience at a place with high-quality food. Although the prices were a bit high, the food was fantastic. The bacon avocado burger was juicy, flavorful, and made with real ground beef. The restaurant doesn't serve frozen patties; instead, they form the ground beef into a ball and smash it with a heavy spatula. The homemade chili was full of flavor that intensified with every bite. Come check them out !"

Service: Customer service was great! We were seated promptly, given option of electronic or paper menu. We were given the speciality/popular items. Checked on many times throughout the meal. Coffee: hot with good cream and sugar free options, served in unique display of coffee mugs! Food: piping hot, homemade taste, huge portions. One can definitely note the quality of ingredients used. Ambiance: Loved the decor and placement of the counter seating. Cleanliness: Very clean in all areas including tables, decor, walls, outside, floors, and restrooms. The area of kitchen that could be viewed was also extremely tidy! Would we return? YES, most definitely. Order 1 simple breakfast including eggs SUPER crispy hash-browns, sausage and eggs. Order 2 Corned beef served over house made English muffin w eggs SUPER crispy and hollandaise sauce and sauerkraut. The sauerkraut was a great play of acidic brightness against the fatty meat, sauce and fat of the yolk. It was great!!

Clovis-Stopped by close to closing and they were happy to see us! No rushing us along. Drinks were great and food even better. We shared the potato bites and that filled us up so much we had to take our food home!! Very warm employees too!

The Secret Garden has a very Instagrammy type of vibe especially when it comes to some of their pancake/french toast dishes. The whole ambiance gives off that ambiance as well. I decided to give this restaurant in Modesto a shot. I would say the service is friendly, but the downside is the food does take a long time to arrive. Once we ordered, my table waited 40 minutes to get our food which is too long for in my opinion basic breakfast food dishes. What I ordered personally was the South Of The Border Omelette ($18). It appealed to me because it wasn't a omelette I see at every restaurant and it had ingredients like pepper jack cheese, chorizo, refried beans, avocado, sour cream, etc. With my first bite of the omelette, I tasted something familiar. You know those El Monterey frozen beef and bean burritos? Those are my favorite frozen burritos of all time. This omelette tasted exactly like that. I wasn't mad at it. It was honestly great. It joined the clean plate club. They did serve avocado on top that was really browning which is a minus point. The hash browns also weren't crisp on the service and the shredded potatoes were a little mushier than I would've liked.Personally, the long wait times plus the service not being the most attentive was a drawback for me. Some things I tasted were a bit hit or miss like a smoked salmon I ate off someone's plate being way too salty or the country potatoes being too oily. I enjoyed my omelette a lot, but overall The Secret Garden is a 6.5-7 out of 10 type of restaurant to me.

Wow, I was thinking 4/5 but I will say this place is 5/5! Everything was perfect. Walked in, great table & no wait. I loved the gold accents in the restaurant. The brunch menu was full of options that sounded delicious. Our food and iced coffee drinks were super delicious and shareable sizes.

Hemlock is a nice place. Nice atmosphere. You can sitoutside or inside. The inside is connected to the lobby of the hotel so it will feel a tiny bit lobby'ish but the furnishings are nice and there's a bar, tv, fireplace. I had the bruschetta as a starter and it was really tasty. I had the chicken penne pasta for my main entree and it was very tasty. The pasta uses a light Alfredo sauce and includes mushrooms and dried tomatoes. I really liked it. I decided to go full course and also had the molten lava cake. It comes with a sliced up strawberry and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It was pretty good. The cake was really rich. The service was personable and friendly but as they are a newer establishment it seems like some of the communication kinks may need to be worked out as I did sit down unattended for about 5 minutes.Ultimately not a big deal and overall I really liked the place, the people working there and the food.

Since I brought my pup to the valley to visit family, we had to look into dining at dog-friendly restaurants. Initially, when my Dad suggested Lazy Dog, I was hesitant--expecting it to be typical subpar American chain restaurant food. To my surprise, I left extremely satisfied. Our party of four was warmly greeted when we arrived. All of us were surprised with how spacious the restaurant was. The inside was huge, accommodating party sizes ranging from pairs to big groups. The outside was nicely covered and dog-friendly. The ambiance here is casual and family-friendly--it can get loud sometimes. We appreciated how understanding and accommodating our waiter was for our pup. He was also just downright friendly and kind. We were well cared for in his hands. The only thing was that they brought my food to someone else's table, and I had to wait an extra 10 minutes for it.Since we came for lunch on a weekend, we could choose from the brunch, lunch, or dinner menu. We shared the Crispy Deviled Eggs. It was decent, but it felt like each part was more of an individual taste versus a holistic bite. I had the Baja California burger, which I subbed for a veggie patty and tater tots. The burger was big, filling, and not shy of toppings. The veggie patty, on the other hand, was mushy and fell apart multiple times. The lemon pepper tots were great--they had a pleasant lemon taste and a good balance of both flavors. My family all enjoyed their meals. We agreed it was a superb place, and my Grandma wanted to return.Lazy Dog is a 5/5 for a chain restaurant, but if you're viewing it as a neighborhood spot, I'd say it's more of a 4/5. You'll get good food, but certain areas might be lacking. The restaurant is sizable and easy to spot off Blackstone Ave., and there's plenty of parking in their parking lot! I'm curious to try their other locations!

The building looked absolutely amazing when I arrived... after turning on Split Pea Boulevard, I was wondering what that was about... got into the restaurant and guess what their soup special is : Split Pea ;-)Interior of the restaurant has many Hans Christian Andersen and other Nordic references... very neat... they are subtle... but everywhere.I was seated quickly, asked if I wanted something to drink which I was promptly served. I ordered my lunch for dine in and dinner to go (out of town on a business trip).I ordered my drink to go with my lunch and barely got my drink served and lunch already arrived. The French dip was absolutely wondeful!!! Baguette nicely toasted, tri tip thinly sliced so it was melt in your mouth tender and a properly reduced Au Jus.I ordered Cole slaw with it to keep the carbs down... the flavor was good just a bit overdressed for my liking.Definitely a place I will come back to when in the area!

"Fast paced with great service and no nonsense dining. Great coffee and diner type food. Great place to eat!"
"Very good homemade authentic Mexican food . Served fast, fresh and hot. Everyone here is very nice and again the food and service is great . We will be returning often. Seating and decor is acceptable and clean."
"Been wanting to try this place for a while, I got their Chocolate Twist and Miso Chocolate Chip cookie and I really wish I got more because they were both delicious! I'd love to see what else they have."
"Our favorite restaurant in town!!! We love their posole and it's our go to item. We've tried other dishes and they don't disappoint. Authentic and prices are reasonable. Restaurant is always clean and customer service is 100 plus. In the evenings it does get busy and food takes a little longer to get so be patient. Trust me it's worth giving this place a shot."
"The food is delicious, a little on the pricey side. The service is excellent, always coming & checking on the table to see what we might need. The ambiance is upscale & classy"
"I've been coming here a few times alone the last week or so. I had the sweet potato fries and they were really good. I think her name is Toni? She is very nice and my drinks were good. All of the bartenders are really nice. The security guards are nice. Good place for a drink ."
"First time in Yosemite National Park, and we were lucky to book the hotel by this restaurant. It was a beautiful area. So peaceful and relaxing. We ordered two different dishes and a alcohol drink that was amazing. Everything was so good!! The two young ladies were so kind and helpful. We love the service and food."
"There's a lot to like about Veni Vidi Vici, but there's also some things that need improvement. The food was pretty great; while the menu is fairly small, everything we tried was really yummy, with the spaghetti being particularly good. The drinks are also good, especially the Singapore sling (something that's actually hard to find, but this place does it right). Everyone else in our party also liked their food too. Finally, it was great that the patio was open. The real downside to Veni Vidi Vici is the service. First of all, it was super slow; it took forever for someone to come over to help us, a long time to get our drinks, and then even longer to put our food order in...we wanted to order earlier, but it was more than an hour after sitting down that we were able to order dinner. Our mains actually came out fairly fast after we finally ordered, but it was still almost 1:30 after sitting down. Finally, the server completely forgot what our order was when we tried to pay, and it took forever and multiple "confirmations" for them to get a correct check to us. After all of that, they had the nerve to put a 20% service charge on the bill (we did have a large group, but with that service, 20% was not appropriate). While I really like the food here, I'm not so sure I would come back because of how lousy the service was."
"I went for a private party. For a private party you are away from the restaurant in a small quiet room. I thought we would be forgotten over there but the service team was on it. Some people ordered a bottle of wine while others just a glass and when they came the sommelier came and explained each bottle as well as letting us sample before we received our glass/bottle. This four course menu changes with the season and is a set price. I loved that they still had 2-3 options for each course and I can't wait to go back and try new things. Door was quick and delicious. I loved/hated the small portions because I wasn't too full by the time the main course came but sad because I wanted more of everything that's how good it was."
"We went here for a family birthday and had a wonderful time! It was our first time most of us had been there. The service was great as our server was delightful, cheerful and on point! Atmosphere was very nice great for a date of some sort! The food was excellent as they have a diverse menu from ramen to steaks and even sushi! We enjoyed great cocktails, beer, and wine! You may not want to bring the family as it a little pricey! I definitely will be back to enjoy First and Main again!"
"Walked into Neighbors and was promptly greeted by the friendly bartender, Jim. He took my drink order and offered me a menu. My drink was made quickly and perfectly. I ordered and the food came out delicious. The price is right and the atmosphere is fun, too! Next time I'm in Clovis I'll be stopping by again."
"Happy New Year! We had the pleasure of celebrating New Year's Eve together by dining at Bistro 234. Luckily we had made reservations because they were very busy. The atmosphere was festive with couples and larger groups dressed to celebrate the end of another year.We were seated promptly and proceeded to order pre-dinner cocktails. I then ordered the spinach salad and my husband had the meatballs as our starters. Very good! For dinner I selected the sea bass which was a special and am I glad I did! I absolutely LOVE sea bass and will almost always order it if it is available. This sea bass was served on top of a risotto with asparagus. Divine! My husband had the short ribs which he raved about. Even though we were both pretty full from our meals, we split the tiramisu for dessert which is always a treat! Our server Shawn was a delight. So friendly yet very professional and efficient. We did not have to wait long between courses which was nice. Bistro 234 is one of our favorite places to dine especially when we are celebrating a special occasion or just want a nice date night venue. We can't wait until our next visit!"
"If you are staying at the hotel next door, your dining options are very limited. This is the easiest and most convenient option. However, it is not a cheap option. It's a little pricey for what you get, but don't forget to factor in the price of gas driving back and forth to another establishment. The woman who took my order was extremely friendly and nice. I ordered the burger melt, which came with fries. Sodas are bottomless. If you want a beer, just walk over to the bar.Since we were the only people in there at the time, our food was brought to the table rather quickly. The burger was greasy but tasty. The fries were excellent, the highlight of my meal. I just wish there were more of them.It was pretty empty around 6 pm on a weekday, and then more and more people piled in. There are TVs on the walls to watch while you eat."
"Haven't been here for a while and noticed the changes. The back deck is really nice and the ambiance is really nice. Here's what brought the negative parts:1. The size of the meal shrank. We had hamburgers and they were almost half the size from over a year ago.2. A extra fee for using a debit or credit card charge? When did this happen? This part was ridiculous 3. We asked for a specialty drink they were advertising and the machine was broke.4. Extra for fries, almost everything is added? Disappointed and won't be back"
"we were torn between pismo's vs. another restaurant we haven't tried but in the end pismo grill it was.(they've updated their menu, see pictures attached).dani served us valentine's weekend & everything was PERFECT. dani checked up on us at the perfect times & was super helpful with questions we had about the menu. the seating, atmosphere, appetizers, entrees & dessert came out wonderfully divine. (except the brownie, more on that later)..for appetizers we ordered roasted edamame & their famous sourdough bread stuffed with mozzarella, lemon caper butter & parsley. you could order the sourdough with just butter but we opted for everything this time.hubby had their new bourbon bbq burger with fries & he really enjoyed it even though burger was cooked more well done. i had the atlantic blackened salmon with cilantro rice. for my drink i had the strawberry lemonade & it was crisp & fresh. everything i had was made to perfection as always. for dessert, we shared the warm brownie à la mode but wished we went with the lemon cheesecake bc the brownie didn't taste all that great..like i think it was a bit plain, even with the fudge, nuts & vanilla ice cream..all in all, we really enjoyed our valentine's meal here.i'm truly not understanding the less than 4 star ratings here on yelp. i'm very picky about where i eat - especially with cleanliness, customer service & ambiance. pismo's coastal grill is awesome!"
"The most amazing waffles I've ever had! Visiting from San Luis Obispo. Wish we had one there!"
"Another amazing experience at Lime Lite. This is my go to restaurant for my birthday and any occasion I can think of. I usually just go with my husband or 2 other friends but this time I had my family which was 6 people all together. They were able to accommodate us in the covered patio on Feb so it was cold outside but warm in the patio area. I was worried since my mom gets cold easily but we didn't have to worry since there were 2 heat lamps nearby. It's equally quiet in the Patio but a little more brightly lit. The food of course is always amazing and my family all loved their dinner and appetizers. I look forward to going there again."
"This place is great! It's your traditional breakfast, served quickly and as you like it. I got the corned beef hash, extra crispy with scrambled eggs and hash browns. This plate comes with a a side of toast or biscuits and gravy. It's a LOT of food. The restaurant gets busy fast so keep that in mind."
"This is the second time I ate here. This time the rice was cooked perfectly and everything was great. We wanted to try the Dubai chocolate which is what brought us in. I think next time I would get the chicken kabob dinner option as it comes on a kabob and I feel would be more flavorful and juicy that way and then just share it since it is a large portion. The kids are picky so daughter had cheeseburger which she said was good and other use the coconut shrimp and absolutely loved it. Definitely will be coming back."
"My youngest devoured the wings. She over them. The beet salad was good, especially if you enjoy beets. The salmon was well cooked, except for one side on the end that seemed to have gotten a bit extra salt. Garlic fries smelled and tasted delicious. Service was great as well!"
"Charming little winery and kitchen near Yosemite's South entrance. This was a great way to begin our trip to Yosemite. Stayed in Oakhurst for the first time since we were traveling from CA instead of NV. The location is surrounded by nature and visiting in late October offered the perfect outdoor experience. Did a wine tasting and ordered some food among the trees. We shared some amazing wild mushroom and sherry soup, burrata with local blistered tomatoes, and baked Camembert with golden raisin compote and honey. Everything was great and loved all the local ingredient's. We even had the cutest little black kitty come join us at our table and it was the highlight of an already fab afternoon."
"and oh my God, that cappuccino cake is to die for. good straightforward food, always my go to the place when I want actual dinner or lunch ..."
"I ordered the eggs Benedict. It was so delicious and savory. The atmosphere is fun. You won't be disappointed."
