"I frequent the area for food and spa days. So I decided to go in and get a last minute pedi since some of my nail polish had chipped off my toes. They close at 7 which is cool. They took me in right away and did the mint masque option with gel ($50). The lady was very thorough and took her time with my feet, the massage chairs were great! Usually they're too rough but these were more gentle but I still felt a deep tissue -like massage. It's calm and quiet they don't play music or anything. I would come back here. The price is reasonable for what you get. One thing I must mention is they charge 3% CC fee if that bothers you, take cash. They also have an atm machine."

Once I arrived Charla was very nice and welcoming, she gave her recommendations on my hair. I'm so glad I found this salon and lucky me the owner did my hair. I was also excited that they take 6AM appointments, I was able to book a styling appointment with Izak at 6AM for my event. "I haven't been here in almost 2 years because I moved and took a break from spending money on a luxury. I've been to a couple other places recently close to my home and was super disappointed at the quality. I only do gel pedicure nothing fancy and no art so I didn't think it's be hard to find a good place. I came back to Paradise nails and Kim remembered me! She did such a great job in a way quicker time and with EXCELLENT quality it's like night and day compared to the other places. I don't know why I didn't come back here in the first place. Helen and Kim are so great, feels great to be back."

"I always liked coming here. They do very good with their acrylic nails however I haven't been wanting to get acrylics anymore so I asked for dip powder nails with extensions (it is listed as one of their services) and I put that down as the service I wanted when I checked in. When I was called to a chair the lady asked what I wanted and I told her dip powder with extensions she told me very rudely no no I don't do that I only do acrylics and then just started to do acrylics on me. I didn't want to upset her so I just let her do it. They were very nice and I still liked them but it wasn't what I wanted so I think they just need to be more clear on that if it is a service they claim to provide."

"I'm constantly on the search for a good hairdresser. I always find gold mines every now and again, and then I always feel the need for a change. Maybe that's my OCD with my hair? I was visiting one of my friends in Fresno, and she recommended this beauty salon and hair dresser (Trish) to me. The salon was very clean, modern, great music, and always friendly faces. :) I went to see Trish that works there....and OOOO....EEEEMMM.....GGGEEEEE....She is SO freakin good!! Not only did she quickly "get" what I wanted, but was super fast and efficient. I'm used to going home with a numb butt, a wet back, and very nauseous from the 3.5+ hours of smelling the salon.....I was in and out of there in 1.5 hours. Can you say AWESOME?!?! The only sad part is that I don't live in the 'NO to make this my go to place....BUT....every time I head up there, I def wanna make her apart of my visit...I mean, It'll be only 1.5 hours out of my visit!! ;) There are many different ladies from different age groups and different styles....but all in all, they all seemed to know what they were doing...AND they all have great rapport (SO important)."

"I love the staff here, they're super friendly and talkative. Although I'm not too fond of how late my nail tech was. I made an appointment at 9:30 but I believe she arrived at almost 10 something. But it's okay, it's understandable, things happen. She did a great job on my nails but towards the end she started getting frustrated. Then started to rush. My nails costed me $50. I think they look amazing but I feel like the design was not worth $50."

"Right now you need to call and make an appointment because of Covid. The salon felt very safe and sanitary. Lawana returned my call quickly and I made an appointment for the next day. She listened while I was trying to describe as the haircut I wanted. Then she made it happen. Lawana is very personable and easy to talk to. She was fast and efficient. I've been getting compliments from everyone, even men. I'm 64 yrs. old so that is nice. I'll definitely be going back."

The shape of my nails are exactly what I asked for. The nail polish is slightly bumpy throughout my nails. I also wish they would've done 1 more coat of polish, since it was a lighter color. Not sure I would ever come back, but very good hospitality!"

I know if I'm in a bad mood, going here will do the trick.They sell their products just like every salon does, but you can also order hair dyes and other products that most salons don't. Just talk to the owner, Renee and she will hook you up. Most places offer RockStar nails for $50-75 and did you know they can be fake..? Well at Savvy, they do them for $25! Amazing. And it's authentic, ask them to show you their collection.Every time I go here, I know I'm going to be treated right and have exactly what I want done. And the cute little house environment helps. :)"

"I've been going to Janna @ Elite 1 for the better part of...well, the entire time I've lived in Fresno, pretty much, so about 17 years. She is an awesome colorist and her cuts are incredible. She's a huge talent and if you're super-picky about a great cut as I am, then she's the one to see. I prefer razor cuts for a really great sharp-edged cut and I can go for months if necessary, w/out a cut due to her incredible job. I just wouldn't suggest anyone do so! She's great and you would not be disappointed. Elite 1 is a great all around salon as well, located in the SE Albertson's shopping center at Bullard & First, it's very centrally located as well. They also have several nail artists as well, but I've never had mine done there so I can't review that."

I don't know about their other services but the nails are amazing. It's individual workers/rent space kinda thing. The owner does the best nails! Love her work!"
